On the nose, You can find a lot of cherry and plum scents, as well as some Mediterranean spice such as thyme or oregano. On the palate, it is a full-bodied fruity red, with notes of Forrest-Fruit, and some nice vanilla aftertaste. It is well paired with various meat dishes, but also some traditional blue fish grilled dishes. Very long-lasting spicy finish.
From the Producer: “This organic Chianti spends little time in oak, unlike many of its Tuscan siblings. This gives the Sangiovese grape the chance to express its pure red cherry and plum character and a delicately spiced finish. The palate is concentrated but refined in quality and texture with classy oak use and moderate – albeit appropriately – grippy tannin structure. This wine is polished with plum fruit, smoky bacon, and vanilla notes lingering through the finish.

Perfume of grandma's home with forest floor, violets, horse stable and leather that layer aromas of blueberries and black olives. The palate is medium bodied with medium acidity and tannin structure. A typical profile for cabernet sauvignon yet enticingly rich and complex with blackcap, raspberry, and blueberry, cured meat, toast, and vanilla. The texture has lifted acidity, nice integrated tannins with flavors of cassis, elderberry, black cherry and older oak woodiness with baking spices.

A staple of the French-speaking cantons of Switzerland, this is a light-hearted blend of Gamay (40%), Pinot Noir (40%), and Diolinoir (20%) from small parcels in Vétroz, fermented and aged in stainless steel. Red-vine fruit with fresh acidity make this a light and pleasant drinker.
This has been aged in newer oak, dill and coconut aromas mingle with stewed mixed fruit. This smells classic; old world spice, dried rose petals, touch of earth. The palate delivers olive tapenade, black pepper, tobacco and mixed red and black berries. The structure is medium plus in body, with just right tannin structure that could age longer, but is drinking well right now.
Aromas of cooked black berries, black olives, rosemary, yeast and rye bread jump out of the glass. This wine is medium-plus in body with ripe, but not heavy, fruits of black currants and black cherries mixed with rosemary and thyme. It is juicy and fresh with a light oak influence.
This aromatic wine gives cherry and strawberry, fruit leather, spiced and cooked cherries with pomegranate juice, blood orange and some incense notes. The palate has a bit of mulling spices and a touch of dehydrated fruit with good balance, easy texture and a velvety smoky finish.
From the producer: Blackberry, bacon, graphite, blueberry, rose. With the 2021 vintage, I have reverted to the intrinsic character of my first Côtes du Rhône from 1997 to 2000. This intense, energetic Syrah with its crimson hue is fresh with ‘espressivo cantabile’ aromas of red berry fruits and a rounded palate.
A medium bouquet of red currants and cherries with cooked or concentrated raspberries and earth. The palate is sleek and supple with cherry, soil and plum. This wine is super fresh and yet deep with very fine and complex tannins and structure.
Ripe blackberry and a touch of coffee on the nose lead to ripe black cherry and currant flavors. There’s nice concentration supported by baking spice, pepper, and lingering coffee notes on the longer finish.

The deliciously naughty grip on the finish doesn't help matters: the fruit and freshness go up a notch, as does the gluttony.
This Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara has a floral nose, with loads of raspberries and a touch of alcohol. The body is medium to medium plus, nicely ripe with a lot of density and depth. Rich with flavors of black cherries, blackberries, and light smoke; finishing with medium acidity and lingering fruit.
One of the leading domaines in Bandol, Domaine Tempier is, without a doubt, the most visible producer from the appellation in the U.S. marketplace today. I think this is well-deserved (and a good thing for Bandol), as the wines are at the top of the hierarchy in terms of quality. The estate has been in the Peyraud family for generations and has a long, storied history that’s beautifully documented in Kermit Lynch’s newsletters and book, Adventures on the Wine Route (an absolute must read for any wine lover). Excellent quality for Napa, delivering a fruit forward, complex flavors and nice quality oak barrel use. Lending spice, plums, mixed dark berries, a spicy finish with a touch of dried violets. The flavors are nicely ripe but the palate still has lift and acidity with good intensity and medium plus body.

The oak use is judicious making a drinkable wine with strawberries, plums and red currants that meet green peppercorns and sandalwood. This is more concentrated and continues to get deeper and darker as it breathes.
This medium to lighted bodied red offers red cherry and strawberry fruit along with notes of mineral, stone and light spice. The fruit is fresh and you'll find fine to medium tannins that provide structure.
