By utilizing his connections as the Wine Director at Tribeca Grill in New York City for more than 30 years, David Gordon created the Jeanne Marie Label (named after his wife) to showcase California wine at a tremendous value.

The 2020 Jeanne Marie Pinot Noir is produced from grapes sourced from Monterey vineyards. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel (75%) and neutral oak barrels (25%), followed by 8 months of aging in neutral oak barrels.

Monterey has a moderate climate. Soils are varied with predominantly Garey sandy loam, Oceano loamy sand, and Lockwood shaly loam. It has 8 smaller appellations within the larger Monterey County AVA.
