Attractive aromas of raspberry, red cherry, warm earth, potpourri and pressed rose are apparent on the nose. This is medium in body with juicy purple fruits such as blueberries and plums with some dehydrated floral, cedar, bay leaf and violet notes. There is a minerality as well. The wine is well structured with moderate tannins and fresh acidity, and becomes more aromatic with exposure to air. This is aged in 2/3 amphora and 1/3 used oak.
