The nose opens with savory herbs (garrigue) including sage along with morello cherry and cooked plums. This is medium bodied with black and red cherry fruit as well as some raspberry and blueberry fruit. Complexity comes with notes of soil, mineral and rose. It is bright and precise with nice purity--there is no oak intruding here. The tannins are rounded with light grip.
