This Umbrian Sangiovese presents cranberry, dark cherry, smoke, a bit of oak, and sandalwood on the nose. The palate follows but is lighter and slightly more oxidated than the nose suggests with cherry, plum, brown spices, and slight oxidative notes. Quite quaffable, especially considering the price point!
