This wine is dominated by Pinot noir which comes through on the nose with forest floor, button mushrooms, black pepper and spiced red cherry. The palate opens with riper raspberry, cranberry and pomegranate and nice density. Secondary notes of tobacco, black pepper and earth follow. Tannins are round, acidity is moderate and the finish is earthy.
