Floral aromas of apple blossom and jasmine, along with lime zest, grapefruit pith and dehydrated apricots with something close to lychee fruit. It's refreshing on the palate with lime, nectarine, and melon notes laced with green tea. This wine is appealing, refreshing and crowd pleaser.

From the Producer, "Smokey lemon and lime aromas explode from the glass, with passionfruit and tropical undertones. This leads to a dry and structured midpalate that overlays grapefruit pith with creme brulee richness before a long and mineral finish of meyer lemon."

Aromas of peach and apricot lead to a medium-plus bodied white that has ripe nuances, but retains its minerality and clean, fresh flavors. It is rounded in texture with moderate acidity and though dry, it expresses juicy peach, citrus and a slight honeyed note.

Clean aromas of wet stone and lemon pith that indicate a higher acid white wine. The flavors are pear, apple, lemon curd, nectarine, fresh herbs and a touch of florals. The prickle is pleasant with medium texture and medium plus acidity.

Classic chardonnay aromas include pear apple butter. The wine is quite balanced on the palate with more tree fruits, pineapple and a hint of creaminess on the finish.

This Chenin Blanc blend has great texture and waxy aromas of dried peaches, apricots and ripe citrus supported by touches of spice and good length on the palate.

From the producer: This wine symbolizes our love for white Châteauneuf-du-Pape. We find delicate floral notes, a fresh texture and crisp, juicy fruit with a saline finish. Just like a walk in our a Provençal garden.

Hints of ripe and sweet pear and lemon are fresh and loaded in terms of the weight of this wine. This is concentrated and elegant with the acidity coming towards the end. This is incredibly reasonably priced --you'll enjoy its mouthcoating texture and elegance.

A very attractive vinho verde that presents aromas of pear, yellow peach, white flowers, and a touch of floral perfume. The carbonation is delightful against the backdrop of more white flowers, peach nectar, sweet citrus, and a juicy acidity to finish. This is a nice off-dry to dry vinho verde that is just a joy to sip on.

 The Champalous are masters of Loire Chenin Blanc, producing Vouvray in all styles; this still, dry rendition, aged in stainless steel, represents their flagship cuvée. Gentle and refreshing on the palate, it boasts a delightful balance of stony minerality with luscious, almost honeyed fruit and flowery notes, making for a great apéritif or easy pairing with all sorts of dishes. 

Light aromatics of apple and nectarine are present here, leading to a fuller bodied white with notes of nectarine, white peach, apple, lemon, grass, vanilla, citrus, white flowers and minerality. This is texturally dense, mouth filling and round, yet it stays fresh and bright with succulent acidity. There are savory lanolin-beeswax notes that reinforce the identity of dry Semillon.

This is a very nice white bordeaux with kiwi, honeydew and cantaloupe melon, grapefruit pith, with perfume like florals. The palate has some dried hay like note that mingles with stone fruit, lemon and mint with integrate flavors and concentration. This is executed and balanced with an exceptionally long finish.

From the get-go, you can tell this wine is full bodied. Aromas are of vanilla, brioche, apple and apricot. The palate is broad and all-encompassing, offering richness and satiety. There's a baked orchard fruit character, along with a touch of almond paste and spiced vanilla custard. Full bodied, bright and generous, this is a white for bigger foods and highly seasoned, creamy dishes. Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc is always a treat. The 2023 Gewurztraminer is from the Sunrise Hill Vineyard, located in Interlaken on western Cayuga Lake, is one of our longstanding grower partnerships which sits on Lima silt loam soils, a soil series unique in our cellar. The Lima series are moderately drained soils nearly level to moderately steep soils formed in glacial till that incorporates limestone and calcareous shale.

You’ll find a classic scent profile of apple, pear and lemon and touch of savory herbs. One will taste the elegance in this wine as it delivers Asian pear and herbs on a softly-textured palate, with integrated, round and silky acidity.

Floral aromas are supported by grapefruit and stone fruit notes. Refreshing on the palate with nice weight and concentration; flavors include peach, rosewater, and citrus. Delicious!

Tropical aromas of guava, grapefruit, orange blossom and juicy peach lead to a refreshing palate with flavors echoing the nose. A touch of chalky-minerality balances tropical fruits like green melon and persimmon, continuing on to a long, stone-fruited finish.

From the Producer: This wine seduces with exotic fruit and floral aromas on the nose which follow through on the palate, with a juicy and mouth-watering finish. Enjoy with a variety of Mediterranean nibbles from Lebanese Mezze to Spanish tapas. Grapes are 100% manually harvested with traditional vinification in stainless steel tanks, fermentation over 10 days.

Stone fruits, melon and citrus aromas lead a juicy palate bursting with cantaloupe, clementine and lemon peel. The acidity is fresh in this mediums-bodied wine with a crisp, dry finish.

The nose is ripe with quince, citrus zest, orchard fruit, flint, and petrol, very rich Riesling aromas! The palate is focused and complex with nectarine, starfruit, lush peach, some gentle herbal notes, and grapefruit zest. Full bodied, ripe, rich, bright, and clean.

Aromas of baked apple, honey, pineapple, citrus and toasty oak. On the palate this wine is well-balanced with enough acidity to carry its weight. This wine is full body and elegant and the oak use is just right.

 The nose is clean with light orchard fruits, especially pear, along with lemon. On the palate, this medium weight wine offers ripe apples, peach, and fleshy pear flavors. It is concentrated and creamy, but at the same time, it has enough lift to balance the sweetness of the fruit, even giving a touch of spritz and hints of steel. 

Classic Sancerre-like aromas and flavors of talc, chalk, starfruit, gooseberry and grapefruit citrus. The palate delivers ripeness with notes that touch on tropical citrus peel, white grapefruit and bosc pear with a whisper of guava and kiwi. The finish has verve with flinty minerality.

"Color of pale straw with hints of green on the edge. On the palate there is a vibrant freshness and an explosion of tropical fruit with ripe citrus on the nose. The wine has a juicy entry on the palate and finishes with a zesty lime twist."

Bob Lynde is a native of Portland Oregon who fell in love with South Africa and its wines while the country still faced an international economic boycott. When the boycott was lifted in the early ‘90s, he was ready, founding Cape Classics, one of the first companies to import South African wines to the US. He began a collaborative project with local growers, the “Bob’s African” line of wines—solid sippers offering great value—and 10% of the proceeds went to local NGOs in the communities where the wines were produced. He sold the import company in 2005 to focus on developing the Fat Barrel Brand, which includes both South African and Oregon wines, and continues the Bob’s wines as well. The Fat Barrel line of wines uses fruit grown by “selected” growers that Fat Barrel has worked with for more than 10 years.

Aromas of pear candy and Myer lemon, with touches of florality and almost talc-y minerality. Moderate-plus acidity on the attack leads to ripe fruit on the palate, with anjou pear and citrus as well as some lemon peel. Round and weighty for Pinot Grigio, with good persistence.

This concentrated, bone dry Riesling is dense and stuffed with falvor. It is fruity with glazed apricot and nectarine notes, along with a bright and focused minerality and a savory saltiness. Complex and built to drink now or age.

This wine is made from grapes with very low yields in a warm vintage. It tastes of high quality Chardonnay--creamy with vaniilla, candied pear, orange, and creamsickle notes with a fine minerality. It is dry, complex and impeccably balanced.

This Finger Lakes wine combines fruity notes of apple and pear with lightly savory, nutty and mineral flavors. It is medium to more in body, and bone dry with moderate acidity.

On the nose, this refreshing white shows Meyer lemon, green apple and pear balanced with wet stone minerality. On the palate, this zesty and fresh wine shows lemon, quince and some chalkiness with this being medium in body, acidity and length with the slightest amount of zippy carbonation.

A bigger and rounder style for a wine from the Basque Country. Clean aromatics that smell like the ocean with citrus, apricot, beeswax, and fresh herbs. The palate is like fresh lime juice, parsley from the garden and a rounder mouthfeel that reminds you of stonefruit and minerality. This could be drunk by itself or with food.

The nose reveals aromas of lemon and apple. You'll also find these on the palate, along with yellow pear and grapefruit. This is medium bodied and dry with both ripe and tart elements; it's clean and crisp -- a refreshing aperitif! 

A good quality Chardonnay that isn't dominated by oak. The rounded texture is highlighted with vanilla, white nectarine, and subtle white tropical fruit notes.

Aromas include baked apples, honey and almond notes. Medium in body with a round profile; slightly floral with apricot and orange peel flavors and touches of lanolin on the finish. This lower-acid white makes a nice alternative to Viognier or Chardonnay.

This orange wine immediately greets the nose with a ton of complexity and goes through many changes in its time being open. Honeyed floral and sherry-adjacent notes waft out of the glass initially, these fade into oregano, garrigue, roasted orange peel, clove, and other gently oxidative notes within 10 minutes after pouring. The palate begins quite sherry like, with hazelnut, sesame, honey, a singed walnut bitterness, and vanilla, a beautiful soft and sesame-oily texture

This drinkable wine has lime pith, lemon zest and some petrol aromas that tell you it is lean and crisp. The palate delivers wet stone and crunchy green pear with fresh acidity and long clean finish.

Quite an aromatic wine with juicy stone fruit, fresh herbs and just blooming lilies. The palate is ripe and concentrated with juicy acidity and fruity nectarine, peach, pineapple and white grapes. There is a light chalkiness, along with floral notes of chamomile tea and saltiness on the finish. The palate has good structure and is deliciously satisfying.

Aromas are driven by the Gewürztraminer with notes of blossoms, lychee, and underripe pineapple. The palate has a creamy texture with moderate acidity on a medium plus body frame. The finish is very mineral-driven.

Exudes flavors and aromas of ripe apples, pears, peaches, and citrus, with floral aromas. Its slight sweetness makes it a perfect match with aged cheeses as well as chicken, fish and pasta in cream sauces.

This Loire white features green tropical fruit such as kiwi, starfruit and gooseberry, with a savory aspect similar to tomato leaf. There is the classic white grapefruit and gooseberry, along with ripe yellow fruits like donut peaches and pineapple. This is medium bodied with a soft texture; though lifted, it remains roundish with good concentration. From the producer: Remarkably aromatic with pleasant flower and fruit fragrances recalling the flower of the vine and the fruit of the Sauvignon. On the palate it reveals a freshness and vivacity characteristic of grapes harvested at good maturity. Citrus, apple and gooseberry aromas with hints of passion fruit are often found in this lively and bright wine.

Pale gold color with brilliant clarity. The nose reveals ripe orchard fruit, citrus, and subtle mineral notes. The palate shows crisp acidity with medium body, featuring flavors of Anjou pears, honeysuckle, and a distinctive grainy minerality with a zesty finish.

This is the creamy buttery style of chardonnay with a medium plus palate that shows some oak use but is integrated with acidity. There are flavors of baked apple, butter and caramel that has a creamy finish.

There is zingy tartness as well as round and chewy elements in this complex Riesling. Some lightly singed fruit peel, minerality and stone combines with lime as well. Quality farming and winemaking is evident.

This wine is bright with aromas of lemon, tangerine, and candied citrus peel. It is clean on the palate with crisp acidity, medium body, and notes of green pear, lime, mixed florals, and subtle grassiness.

This is a slightly effervescent and aromatic wine from grapes grown in the Mosel. This NA wine is refreshing, crisp, and very easy to drink while maintaining the complexity that the wines from Selbach are known for.

Wet stone and citrus join ripe grapefruit, lime pith and starfruit aromas. These continue on the palate along with gooseberry, melon and lemon notes. The wine is nicely balanced with gentle acidity and a round, leesy creaminess. 

100% Central Coast Chardonnay that's seen 80% of it in stainless steel, with the remaining 20% being barrel fermented. After fermentation there's 10 months of rest in oak barrels. What you have here in the bottle is a medium to full bodied Chardonnay with balanced flavors of vanilla, orange blossom, pear and apple. Toasty oak adds to the long, silky finish.

This wine has great intensity and density with lightly spiced oak influence but not oaky or toasty. The palate has golden apple, cream and ripe pear with nice richness.

From the Producer: Gianfranco Kozlovic's Malvasia is one of the most classic and authentic examples of Istrian Malvasias. An extremely fragrant nose of acacia flowers, banana, peach, apple pears and citrus with some herbal. The acidity leaves your palate with mouthwatering freshness and fruitiness, intense minerality spiced with slight saltiness and citrus fruit acidity.

This bright and fresh Greek white opens with bright citrusy and floral aromas. The palate follows with attractive melon, nectarine, jasmine, and lemon zest. Medium bodied, fresh and clean with lifted acidity, this succulent, aromatic white is the perfect warm weather companion!

This wine is fragrant and clean with exotic melon, apricot, yellow plum and nectarine with floral and beeswax aromas rounding it out. The palate continues with floral notes and a honeyed quality with touches of chamomile and almond skin. This is weighty with spice notes reminiscent of gewürztraminer yet it remains restrained with plenty of acidity and a long finish. This wine is delicious and worth appreciation.

This wine presents aromas of peach, orange and pineapple with beeswax and sage notes. It has a medium plus body with moderate acid, a rounded mouthfeel, a touch of sweetness and fruit of apples, apricot, cantaloupe and yellow pear flesh. Nice richness and density while remaining balanced and food friendly.

Sunjewel melon, tangerine and almond mix with more subtle second notes of pear, yellow apple and wet stone. The palate is medium weight with medium plus acidity and tastes quite dry! The flavors echo the nose with good density and has a very long mineral finish.

Consider this Jacquère sunshine in a glass by the meadow! It is light and very crisp with subtle fruit of apple and pear, gentle florality, great mineral-talc character, and undertones of hay, chamomile, parsley, crabapple and lemon pith.

A fresh and unoaked chardonnay that offers touches of vanilla, pear and apple. Medium-acidity proves a nice lift and balance.

Aromas of apricot and marzipan are joined by a kiss of floral character on the nose. The palate is nicely concentrated with stone fruits, especially pear, and touches of dried herbs. It’s medium-bodied with a pleasant creaminess, soft finish and lingering salinity.

This Georgian variety gives aromas are of apple, dried herbs and hay while the medium-plus bodied palate displays nice ripeness with apple, apple skin, quince and peach fruits. These are balanced by savory hay, chamomile, white pepper and wildflowers before concluding with a citrusy finish.

Aromas of grapefruit, lemon, apple and peach emerge on the nose.  This wine is medium plus in body with glazed stone fruits such as candied white peach, supported by juicy acidity. It's ripe and roundish, but also clean and vibrant. 

This smells clean and mineral but there is also powdered sugar, kiwi and lime fruit and anise. The palate is balance with tartness like key lime pie with lychee, nectarine and fresh cut grass. 

Golden Delicious apple, quince and pear are balanced with savory notes of chamomile and white tea, as well as mineral notes of stone and flint. This medium weight white Burgundy also reveals some barrel spice, white pepper and citrus on the finish. It is fresh with juicy acidity and some roundness in the texture.

Light aromas of wet stone/talc, stone fruits and white flowers on the nose. The medium-bodied palate offer peach and nectarine, minerals, and a touch of bitterness to balance the ripe fruit.

The nose opens with lemon oil, juicy peaches, and a slight stoniness. Starfruit, lime juice, and crunchy starfruit add to the palate, followed by a granny smith note that coats the mouth. Crisp acidity to finish.

From the producer: Clear and brilliant in the glass, the 2023 Riesling opens with notes of lemongrass and a touch of petrol (a hallmark of quality fruit driven by mineral rich soils). On the palate the wine is lush and juicy with topical flavors of mango and pineapple that follow through with a clean finish with hints of citrus and peach.

This wine shows light floral aromas and citrus notes on the nose. It is medium bodied with nice concentration of nectarine and ripe citrus along with plenty of minerality and fresh acidity. Ripe grapefruit aromas with a touch of kiwi and starfruit introduce this wine. The palate delivers key lime and ripe peach with flinty minerality. This classic German Riesling is very clean, well made, and offers a deftly-balanced hint of sweetness between its fruit, acidity and slate backbone.

This estate-grown Cayuga Lake Pinot Gris begins with aromas of stone fruits, both fresh and baked.  The palate is medium to full in weight, creamy and rich with ripe orchard fruits like pear, apple and apricot. The wine is just barely dry with bright acidity to balance it.

The nose is enticing with aromas of floral, peach, apricot and minerality. On the palate there is a pleasant light bitterness that balances with the full texture and bold flavor of this wine. The aromas in this wine are elegant with sweet oak, butter, vanilla, apple, pear and a whiff of smoke. This unoaked Chardonnay is medium weight and gives lovely orchard fruit aromas and flavors from a warm vintage. It has golden apple and bosc pear notes with a hint of citrus and pineapple. Freshly grated lime zest greet the taster with pear, apple and wet stone minerality. The magic occurs on the palate with almost off-dry flavors of ripe peach, apricot, sundew melon, marzipan and yellow plum. The acidity is medium plus with a medium bodied frame that tastes riper than the aromas suggest.

This lovely Gewurztraminer gives aromas of lychee, ginger skin, rosewater and honeysuckle following on to a bright and flavorful palate where lychee, jasmine, ginger, pear, and lime zest add complexity. It is medium plus in body, with good ripeness, integrated acidity and a round texture, finishing with citrusy notes.

Stone, honeydew melon, citrus and white pepper aromas lead to kiwi and citrus peel with touches of white pepper along with classic Finger Lakes minerality and more melon notes. Clean with moderate acidity and nice roundness, lemon-lime flavors persist on the finish.

Fruity, floral aromas and flavors of opal apples, cherry blossoms and apricot, with a supple, tangy, medium body and a polished and engaging long finish with shades of golden kiwi, ripe peach, pineapple, sultry with a long finish. The flavors seem honeyed with ugly fruit, cantaloupe and starfruit that is juicy sweet and very drinkable.

Bursting with tropical fruit, citrus, and floral notes of honeysuckle, this wine has a hint of sweetness that makes it so refreshing.

This Late Harvest Riesling is crafted in the traditional German Spätlese style, with natural sweetness balanced by lively acidity. A fuller, more plush style of Riesling. Notes of Orange blossom and shale-driven minerality show through with striking intensity. Layers of ripe orchard fruit and tropical fruit coat the palate, supported by broad, lingering acidities.

From the Producer: 01/2024: Bright pale yellow colour. The nose is impressive, precise, showing wet stones aromas typical from granitic soils, still tighter and leaner than the Riesling Roche Granitique (the younger vines) but eventually opens up with aeration and revealing white fruit aromas. The palate has a mineral density, voluptuous with tension. The finish is dry and long, showing a reassuring richness. The absence of stress in the vineyard can be seen in this harmonious wine that will be capable of good ageing.

From the producer:  Pale yellow colour. The nose is still on its reserve but the signature of the limestone marls is very present: citrus fruits, wet stone and opens towards the flower of acacia, even lime blossom over time. Both discreet and at the same time seductive. The energy of the wine felt on the nose is found on the palate. The attack is ample, the wine coats the mouth with harmony and power, opening on a beautiful aromatic complexity of ripe fruit. The typical acidity of this cru is found on the finish, tense and salivating, broad and caressing, under the influence of the clay which brings power and delicacy to the wine. It is a wine that has a very long aging potential!

From the producer: 01/2024: Pale yellow colour. Restraint nose, profoundly influenced by the volcanic soil: smoke, flint, earthy, which eventually opens to more fruity aromas after a long aeration. Very complex nose but a strong originality and identity. The palate at first appears to have a medium power but builds up to a long dry aftertaste. As often in the past, the Rangen Riesling always manages to hide its power in his youth. Harmonious structure, vivacious acidity which finishes with strong salty flavours, adding to the length of the wine. This wine appears to be delicately chiselled and full of energy in a solar and warm vintage. To keep!

From the producer: Pale yellow colour. The nose shows the strong limestone influence: mineral, stone driven, citrus fruits and some white fruits (peach) after some aeration. The wine fermented in a large recent oak cask (foudre) and was on full lees until bottling. The palate is quite strict, bone dry, with a racy sapid acidity that gives a juicy texture on the finish. The wine has a nice concentration, but because it is bone dry with a ripe acidity, it feels elegant and delicate.

Each grape (Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, and Friulano) shines quite nicely in this Friuli white, aromas of melon, citrus, and apples are followed on the palate with citrus pith and a hint of lemon. Medium in body, this wine is fresh and clean, a lovely spring sipper!
