Amandla, meaning “power within us” in the local Zulu dialect, is a truly one-of-a-kind venture. This is a quite powerful, classic Burgundy white. Aromas of flint, matchstick, toast and light butter present on the nose. It has a lovely, silky texture with apple and poached pear fruit flavors accompanied by vanilla, oak-influenced spices, flint, earth and mineral tones. Its elegance is especially notable as it breathes - the wine gains complexity as flavors of vanilla, crème brûlée, toast and butter become more pronounced and linger through the the long and satisfying finish.

We are impressed with box chardonnay because it is crisp, clean and has a lot of fresh flavors like lemon zest, yellow apple and honeydew melon. It is is medium acidity and medium bodied with a finish of pear and minerality.

Fresh aromas of roasted pear lead to a more than medium weight palate. The pear is still here along with baked apple. The wine is joined by touches of butterscotch and toast (despite the wine's lack of oak contact). This is a fresh wine, clean, with lifted acidity, balanced, tasty, and well made.

This unoaked chardonnay is zesty and leesy. Orchard fruits and pear and apple with lemon curd greet the taster. The palate is ripe with yellow apple, bosc pear and round vanilla like notes. Vibrant and fresh on the nose with melon, pear and white flowers dominating the aromas. On the palate, the fruit (pear, starfruit) remains precise, bright, crisp and refreshing while the finish is mouthwatering lemon-lime (think Sprite). A new favorite!

This is a very nice white bordeaux with kiwi, honeydew and cantaloupe melon, grapefruit pith, with perfume like florals. From Producer: An unwooded wine, Bon Vallon has a brisk and clean freshness leading into a wide spectrum of classic flavours including citrus, wild flowers and grilled nuts, with a nuanced minerality on the aftertaste.

This Oregon wine gives aromas and flavors of citrus, honeysuckle, almond, quince and yellow pear. It is medium weight, clean, bright and slightly rounded in texture with integrated acidity and a touch of straw/hay on the finish.

This wine is a delicate and refined expression of its origin, with subtle notes of grapefruit that transform into hints of white flowers and vine-ripened peaches as it breathes. In the mouth, the peach notes shine through, accompanied by a touch of blackcurrant.

Not only is the bottle unusual for an Italian Vermentino, so is the wine inside. From the Producer: "This wine reflects the substance and diversity of southeast Seneca Lake. It fermented in both vats and old oak (228 liter Burgundy barrels and demi-muids) with indigenous yeasts for several months, as is typical of our wines. Combining aromas of mineral and fruit: mango, jasmine, flint, it delivers a balanced texture, straightforward while being both long and soft."

Complex and fresh aromas of guava, apricot, the juicy flavors of Granny Smith apple and yellow peach are present, along with bright acidity and a crisp finish. Lemon curd, and slightly toasted caramelized nectarine can all be found, along with notes of fresh ground cloves and cinnamon. It is medium in body with a long finish.

On the nose, this refreshing white shows Meyer lemon, green apple and pear balanced with wet stone minerality. On the palate, this zesty and fresh wine shows lemon, quince and some chalkiness with this being medium in body, acidity and length with the slightest amount of zippy carbonation.

A bigger and rounder style for a wine from the Basque Country. Clean aromatics that smell like the ocean with citrus, apricot, beeswax, and fresh herbs. The palate is like fresh lime juice, parsley from the garden and a rounder mouthfeel that reminds you of stonefruit and minerality. This could be drunk by itself or with food.

This drinkable wine has lime pith, lemon zest and some petrol aromas that tell you it is lean and crisp. The palate delivers wet stone and crunchy green pear with fresh acidity and long clean finish.

This Finger Lakes Sauvignon Blanc gives aromas of green melon, green currants, starfruit and florality. It is medium weight, crisp and fresh with melon, green pear, green apple, pink grapefruit, sweet lime, lime pith, starfuit and parsley notes.

This aromatic wine has chamomile, jasmine and some freshly cut straw notes. It smells a little like Muscadet with some salinity and juicy lemon and green fruit. This has great texture that is round but with minerality and grapefruit pith. The ending is refreshing and long with fennel, nectarine and lanolin notes.

This is the creamy buttery style of chardonnay with a medium plus palate that shows some oak use but is integrated with acidity. There are flavors of baked apple, butter and caramel that has a creamy finish.

The wine presents aromas of peach, citrus, apricot pit, petrol and wet stone. On the palate, honeyed pear, peach and citrus combine with citrus and wet slate for a dry, minerally finish.

Kermit Lynch tasting note:Very pure Sancerre aroma, generous, fresh, without grassy edges. The palate is expansive, then the nervosity makes its appearance and the finish is dry and lipsmackingly good. One of the things I love about it is that it leaves on the lips, not the palate, not the throat, but on your lips, a fresh little lemony whisper which makes it a fabulous complement to simple fish dishes.

This is high quality Gruner Veltliner with more density and depth than an entry level wine. It is succulent and juicy with attractive florality and notes of fennel, white peach, almond paste and coriander. The texture is waxy-creamy, yet still zippy.

Citrus and pear aromas with clean crisp minerality. The palate has great density and a rounder creamier style with apple and orchard fruit. This is fleshy and clearly comes from a warmer site in Chavignol.

Aromas are of nectarine, apple, flowers, honey , pear and peach fuzz. This is a slightly effervescent and aromatic wine from grapes grown in the Mosel. This NA wine is refreshing, crisp, and very easy to drink while maintaining the complexity that the wines from Selbach are known for.

Wet stone and citrus join ripe grapefruit, lime pith and starfruit aromas. These continue on the palate along with gooseberry, melon and lemon notes. The wine is nicely balanced with gentle acidity and a round, leesy creaminess.

100% Central Coast Chardonnay that's seen 80% of it in stainless steel, with the remaining 20% being barrel fermented. After fermentation there's 10 months of rest in oak barrels. What you have here in the bottle is a medium to full bodied Chardonnay with balanced flavors of vanilla, orange blossom, pear and apple. Toasty oak adds to the long, silky finish.

An extremely fragrant nose of acacia flowers, banana, peach, apple pears and citrus with some herbal. The acidity leaves your palate with mouthwatering freshness and fruitiness, intense minerality spiced with slight saltiness and citrus fruit acidity.

Fresh notes of white peach, yellow apple and lemon rind mingle with wet crushed stone on the nose. On the palate, there are green fruits like papaya, melon and citrus, along with unique savory notes of salt, sage, honey, wheat, chamomile and minerality.

Vibrant aromas include honeydew, lime, peach, spearmint and chalky-minerality. It is bright, crisp and fresh, with flavors echoing the aromas leading to a long peachy finish.

While juicy and succulent, it is also round and textural with a savory note of truffle. Very, very tasty!

Maison Louis Jadot Pouilly- Fuisse 1er Cru 2021 There is a level of purity and cleanliness that is vibrant and flinty and intense. Layer upon layer of apple, golden pear, fresh herbs, and a subtle creaminess. Upheld by an intense, biting, stony sensation, this hunts teeth like some do and will drink beautifully for many years.

This wine is aged 20% in sherry casks which accounts for it's golden color and rich flavor. The aromas are ripe and fragrant with golden raisin, glazed yellow apples and bosc pear. The palate has some sweetness and savory notes with apricots, yellow plum, dried herbs. This is medium to medium plus in body with medium acidity and a lingering slightly salty finish.

The nose offers lime--both zest and juice-- as well as starfruit and a touch of slate. This wine has just the right amount of effervescence to support the green pear, green apple, and citrus on the palate Very crisp and refreshing.

Abundant fruit aromas of kiwi, white peach, nectarine, citrus, melon, quince, white grapefruit and lychee combine with orange blossom on the nose. The palate is crisp, leading to a chalky minerality on the finish. Medium-bodied with moderate acidity.

Aromas of baked apple, light peach, citrus and crushed rocks. The palate is medium in weight with a round creamy texture, and flavors of golden apple, pears, citrus oil and lanolin. The acidity is medium and the finish long.

A serious and lovely retsina that resonates with the classic style but the resin is more subtle. Aromatically there is tart green apple, crunchy pear and fresh herbs. The palate is zippy and powerful with the resin coming through but also with a beeswax texture and aloe. Further flavors of thyme, parsley, white pepper, lemon pith, and lime zest.

This Georgian variety gives aromas are of apple, dried herbs and hay while the medium-plus bodied palate displays nice ripeness with apple, apple skin, quince and peach fruits. These are balanced by savory hay, chamomile, white pepper and wildflowers before concluding with a citrusy finish.

This smells clean and mineral but there is also powdered sugar, kiwi and lime fruit and anise. The palate is balance with tartness like key lime pie with lychee, nectarine and fresh cut grass. 

This is a complex and layered wine aromatically and texturally. Glazed lemons and orange slices with some apricot aromatically. The texture has lovely acidity and medium plus body. The fruit flavors are rich but perfectly balanced and delivering apricot, candied pear, guava and lychee.

This is a wonderful and complex semi-dry Riesling. At first, it begins with notes of petrol mixed with white tea and tropical fruit such as guava. The palate gives generous apricot, pineapple and guava fruitiness mixed with minerality and florality. The wine can seem weighty at first sip, but the acid stays perky and with the right food, it dances on the palate.

The nose opens with very pretty aromas, to include floral notes, white pepper, ginger, and melon. The mouthfeel is persistent and clean with fresh lemon, key lime and yellow plum fruit. Lime candy flavors as well as white pepper, lime blossom and jasmine add complexity to this proper Austrian Grüner Veltliner. 

From the producer: Brimming with concentrated varietal and mineral aromas of mint, white stone fruit and citrus peel that lead to a round, robust, saline palate with character, ripe fruit and attractive herbaceous elements such as laurel, thyme and fennel.

Golden Delicious apple, quince and pear are balanced with savory notes of chamomile and white tea, as well as mineral notes of stone and flint. This medium weight white Burgundy also reveals some barrel spice, white pepper and citrus on the finish. It is fresh with juicy acidity and some roundness in the texture. 

Pear, quince, light floral aromas especially orange blossom, soft almond notes and some nectarine are enticing. This nearly off-dry wine has a round texture balanced with refreshing acid. The palate provides jasmine, some orange peel and subtle peach flavors that are enjoyable alone or with food.

Milenrama Blanco is a white rioja of straw-yellow colour made from 30 year old vines. It has a high intensity bouquet of yellow fruits mixed with notes of hazelnut. On the palate, it is soft and silky with a fine, sweet flavour to the finish.

Lighter aromas include lemon peel and Asian pear. Medium-weight with lots of lemon on the palate.  Clean and refreshing with good concentration, more pear, and yellow apple flavors.

Fresh and lively aromas of melon and lime lead to tropical kiwi and starfruit flavors.  There's a slight creaminess from lees contact and a brisk lemon-y finish to round out this wine.

This white delivers aromatics of apricot, lemon, yellow apple, florality and a hint of effervescence on the nose. Citrus echoes on the palate along with pear, green apple and candied lemon.  This has an integrated zippiness to it that makes it a wonderful summer sipper. 

This wine boarders on some tropical aromas of passionfruit and pineapple with some herbal and floral notes. The surprisingly rich palate is concentrated with peach, apricot, and papaya with the impression being almost sweet but it is just ripe fruited with lower acidity.

This richer, creamier style of Sauvignon Blanc offers dense, ripe yellow apple, pear and nectarine flavors. The low yields show in its flavor saturation, yet it remains juicy and crisp with minerality and touches of lemon lingering through the finish.

This is aromatic with notes of pear, apricot, apple and dried herbs. The aromas translate onto flavors on this medium body wine, with the addition of dried herbs, preserved lemon and stones. It is medium in body with round texture and medium acidity.

Aromas of crushed rocks join with nectarine, white peach and hints of citrus on the nose. Abundant fruit flavors of apricot, white peach, lemon and tart green apple show prominently on the palate. The wine is dry with medium body and round texture that leads to a generous finish. Tasty and quite unique!

Medium aromatics include chamomile and lanolin.  The palate is medium weight with light floral notes such as honeysuckle. Fresh, clean and minerally with white peach and melon flavors. This is precise and focused; it's a wonderful aperitif or food wine.

Aromas of lemon and lime, along with some jasmine and vanilla introduce this wine. It is medium plus in body and features crisp acidity balanced by a surprising creaminess. Flavors of preserved lemon, apricot and a slightly salty minerality are enjoyable and classic. Picpoul de Pinet is an ideal wine for seafood, especially shellfish.

Pleasant pepper spice and crisp apple and green pear fragrance on the nose. On the palate, fresh herbs frame the fruit. Some mandarin or clementine orange on the finish with classic white pepper.

This aromatic wine offers lovely, fresh green fruits of pear, melon, lemon, lime, mineral and almond. It is crisp with plenty of finesse, but also has a pleasing density. Notes of citrus, herbs, pear and flowers are subtle, yet inviting.

Aromas of lemon, lime, and grapefruit alongside peach and light grassy or boxwood notes. On the palate, the citrus notes are soft but refreshing, with peach and passion fruit flavors combined with a mineral undertone. Medium in body this wine is crisp, elegant, and well-balanced.

This is attractively aromatic with notes of jasmine, nectarine and citrus. The palate is medium plus in body with the fragrance continuing -- honeysuckle, jasmine, tropical citrus, and candied orchard fruits are lovely and balanced. The mouthfeel is slightly rounded with integrated acidity. Enjoy with spiced and seasoned foods of all ethnicities. This wine will stand up to it and complement it.

Fresh citrus and meadow flowers with touches of peach and grapefruit on the nose. Refreshing acidity on the palate with more citrus and stone fruit flavors and a lingering minerality.

This is quite aromatic with quince jam, white grapefruit, gooseberry and kiwi. This wine is crisp, fresh and lifted with bright and zingy citrus notes. Touches of tropical lychee and starfruit all complement its medium body and clean texture; stone fruits linger on the rounder finish. We like this wine a lot, it is elegant but still austere in style, yet clearly ripe fruited.

Very aromatic on the nose with honeysuckle, peach, candied apricot and mangosteen notes. The palate has nice richness, but stays lifted and fresh with stone fruit flavors supported by tropical melon and juicy pear. Refreshing and bright with lingering candied lemon peel.

Ravines Dry Riesling is a unique and elegant expression of the Finger Lakes terroir. Delicate yet complex on with lemon pith and white flowers mingled with pear, apple, dehydrated nectarine and grapefruit citrus notes followed by a lingering mineral finish and a vibrant acidity.

Bright and juicy aromas of apple, lemon, pear and apricot. Clean, pure, juicy and complex with more creamy texture and ripe full flavor. The beautifully round texture of this wine showcases flavors of Golden Delicious apple, creamy lees, and lemon oil with less mineral qualities than the previous vintage.

Light aromas of wet stone/talc, stone fruits and white flowers on the nose. The medium-bodied palate offer peach and nectarine, minerals, and a touch of bitterness to balance the ripe fruit.

The nose opens with lemon oil, juicy peaches, and a slight stoniness. Starfruit, lime juice, and crunchy starfruit add to the palate, followed by a granny smith note that coats the mouth. Crisp acidity to finish.

Aromatic notes of pears, green apples, papaya and lemon zest with appealing notes of chalk. Juicy and bright flavors of pears and melons with a roundish and ripe texture. It is medium weight with soft acid with a clean and fresh end without being sharp.

Notes of flint and petrol lend way to a fuller-bodied, fruit-forward style of riesling. It is round with good density, well-integrated acidity, and bright, juicy fruit flavors of peach, apricot, pineapple, and mango. A great value!

This Chardonnay is lightly floral and attractive with ripe white peach, apple, lemon and a talc-like chalky minerality. The palate has good density with some lees contact but no malolactic fermentation. It is medium-plus in body with Asian pear, peach, and honey notes. The finish is clean, crisp and refreshing with a kiss of vanilla.

Green, herbal aromas lead to flavors of pear, melon, lime, gooseberry and and fresh cut grass. It's tart and crisp with a clean, stony/mineral finish.

This elegant white is concentrated and refined with chalky minerality supporting ripe apple, pear, and quince notes; It shows nice richness and a touch of vanilla and citrus while maintaining good precision and focus.

This Italian white offers nice density and roundness with ripe fruits such as apricot and lychee. There is a touch of spice and almond in this juicy, medium-plus bodied wine, along with balanced acidity. Great value!

Aromas are tropical with citrus zest and touches of melon and stone fruit.  The palate is round and lower acid with peach and nectarine flavors. Touches of honeysuckle, pear and fennel linger on the finish.

This unoaked Chardonnay offers fresh flavors of pineapple and grilled peaches with nice acidity to keep the palate lifted. The texture is attractive with both freshness and a broad mouthfeel. It finishes with glazed citrus and sweet snap pea.

This medium-dry wine has aromas of fruit and slate that lead to a fresh and round palate with a salty finish. There are notes of peach and other orchard fruits as well as some savoriness. Although it is off-dry, it is crisp and stays lifted and balanced.

Enticing aromas of ripe peach, pineapple, pears and apples will make you want to dive right in! The palate is off dry with long and persistent acidity. It is juicy with ripe peach, lychee, green melon and light floral notes on the palate. It is medium bodied and medium plus acidity with a finish of starfruit.

Aromas of apple, pear, vanilla and butterscotch are present on the nose. The  palate delivers notes of apples, baked apples, poached pears, lemon curd and vanilla bean, along with butterscotch. It is concentrated, clean, well balanced between creaminess and crisp acid. There are hints of oak, mostly a touch of caramel merging with the fruit. This is just over medium weight.

This full-flavored Riesling is dry; however, it gives generous and honeyed fruit that makes one perceive sweetness. There are flavors of apricots, baked apples, peaches and poached pears along with a light citrus bitterness balanced by wild honey notes. Savory dried herbs punctuate the long, minerally finish where notes of slate and rocks linger with fleshy orchard fruit.

Such a pretty wine to have on your table with scents of floral, chamomile, and honeydew melon. This wine is balanced between an almost sweet honeysuckle taste to some white tea bitterness. There are additional flavors of white roses, ginger and peaches on a medium frame.

This vintage is more aromatic than the previous one with pineapple, yellow apple, pear and tons of wet stone minerality. The wine just smells crunchy and clean. The wine presents appealing sweet and concentrated fruit including quince paste, marzipan and baked pineapple cake.

This estate-grown Cayuga Lake Pinot Gris begins with aromas of stone fruits, both fresh and baked.  The palate is medium to full in weight, creamy and rich with ripe orchard fruits like pear, apple and apricot. The wine is just barely dry with bright acidity to balance it.

The nose is enticing with aromas of floral, peach, apricot and minerality. On the palate there is a pleasant light bitterness that balances with the full texture and bold flavor of this wine. Flavors of preserved citrus fruits, glazed orange rind and orange blossom, with peach and apricot as well. This wine is ripe, juicy and has a long delicious finish.

This is a very clean, focused and lean wine. The aromas and flavors offer a lot of terroir driven minerality, with wet stone, precise acidity and lemon pith. The palate has medium plus acid and a light body with honeysuckle, grapefruit and shale.

This is a delightful Burgundian Chardonnay. The nose gives subtle aromas of apples and apple skins, white flowers, old wood, and delicate orchard fruit. The palate offers minerality, focus and cut with crisp acidity and understated fruit. This medium weight wine is excellent with food or an apéritif.

This very aromatic wine offers lightly bitter ginger skin and lychee. It smells as though it might be too much of a good thing, but it isn’t. Lovely flavors of citrus, ginger, lychee, and orange blossom join clean acidity in this medium-bodied wine with a longer finish.

from the Producer: Soalheiro Alvarinho has a bright, lemon-yellow colour. This wine is distinguished by its fresh and elegant fragrance, revealing the aromatic complexity of Alvarinho variety. The flavour has intense tropical and mineral notes that balance perfectly with the acidity and moderate alcohol content.

Pear and apple with lemon citrus and anise kick off the aromas. The palate has good density with soft acidity and notes of poached pears, finishing very clean. 

Medium-plus aromas of tangerine, dried apricot, chalk, chamomile flowers and certain salinity. Medium in body with round texture and refreshing acidity. The aromas translate onto flavors with the addition of pear, ginger skin, white flowers and a lot more minerality. Medium-plus on the finish.

This wine shines consistently year after year. You'll find the aromatics of both grapes in this wine--melon and citrus from the Sauvignon Blanc, apricot and flowers from the Viognier. The palate is medium weight to more, with notes of orange, peach, apricot, jasmine and lemon, all integrated into a juicy, fleshy, rounded mouthfeel. It stays crisp and energetic, driving you back for more.

Ripe blackberry and a touch of coffee on the nose lead to ripe black cherry and currant flavors. There’s nice concentration supported by baking spice, pepper, and lingering coffee notes on the longer finish.Try with any food and a tangy BBQ sauce. Red meat, spicy sausages, and Moroccan dishes are also good mates. Pizza (even spicy) pairs well, too. This wine can also be enjoyed on its own.

The aromas in this wine are elegant with sweet oak, butter, vanilla, apple, pear and a whiff of smoke. Any oak is elegant and tremendously well integrated; this is bright and clean with lovely minerality. A sensational effort that is well balanced and still exudes California style.

Lovely, beautiful wine that is not over-the-top. Floral, nectarine and almond are gentle and elegant.

Aromas of vanilla custard, marshmallow, and a little toast great your nose, contrasted by ripe apple, cantaloupe melon and clementine. The texture has splendid richness that provides contrast to its toned and balanced acidity.

This is aromatic for a pinot gris with pear, apple and touches of hay and petrol. The palate has lower acidity and a creamy texture leading to a long finish that is concentrated with white peaches and minerality.

This New Zealand classic is quite aromatic with notes of pink grapefruit, passion fruit, white pepper, and peach. The palate is medium in body with a round texture and medium acid. Flavors of ripe tropical fruits (star fruit, passion fruit and a bit of mango) combine with refreshing citrus notes on the finish.

This succulent and unique wine opens aromatically with honeysuckle, grapefruit, green tropical fruits, and nectarine, followed by a round palate where mellow kumquat, white peach, and mango are balanced by refreshing minerality. This medium-weight wine shows just right concentration, lifted acidity, well-balanced finesse, and a long finish with subtle bitterness of fruit peel and almond skin.

This is an incredibly complex, rich and aromatic white that smells like jasmine, marzipan, nectarine and peaches. It tastes like ripe oranges, orange zest, flint and starfruit. Rounded texture with enough acidity to balance leads to a silky finish.

On the nose tropical, melon rind, white grapes and fresh-cut grass. On the palate it is fresh and structured yet creamy but cut, with notes of lime blossom, key lime, melons and green pear with a medium finish. Great on its own or with food.

Pale sunshine yellow color and slight frizzante, this Moscato d’Asti has intense aromas of peaches, rose petals and ginger. On the palate, it is delicately sweet and sparkling with balanced acidity, good complexity and a finish of fresh apricots.

This wine begins with notes of fennel mixed with apple and pear. It is medium weight on the palate, crystal-clear, fresh and clean with subtle fruitiness of pear, nectarine, and apple (both green and yellos). This white blend offers plenty of minerality and some leesiness which gives it a slightly rounded texture despite its high acidity. Delicious with cheese or as an aperitif or partner with light foods.

This white presents green and yellow tropical aromas. The flavors on the palate include lemongrass and passionfruit with the fruity concentration balancing the crisp acid. It has both a creamy, leesy texture and a grapefruit tartness that maintains excellent freshness.

The palate echoes the nose with more apples and nut skin, touches of tropical fruit and spice.  Fuller-bodied and lightly structured with lingering minerality. Creamy, rich, intense with orchard fruit flavors with integrated acidity and light tannins.

Aromas of stone fruits, citrus and some chalk/talc on the nose.  Just off-dry and beautifully balanced, this delicious crowd pleaser offers juicy peach and citrus flavors with lingering minerality.

Aromas of apple, melon, white pepper and light citrus. Juicy and dry on the palate, the aromas translate onto flavors. This is a refreshing tasty wine.

There are subtle creamy aromas that greet the taster first with bosc pear, soft yellow apple and dehydrated peaches. The fruit flavors are generous on the palate with concentrated acidity. The finish is quite silky and tastes close to pineapple.

There are aromas of pear, citrus and light florality in this white Alsatian blend. The palate is medium plus in body with a mélange of orchard fruits (apple, pear, peach, nectarine and apricot), minerality, herbs, citrus, candied lime peel, chamomile, florality and salinity. There is good density here, but it stays elegant. This wine has the allusion of sweetness, but is actually just very ripe.

Ripe pear aromas along with vanilla and light oak begin this medium-bodied Chardonnay. The palate reveals pear/yellow apple notes along with a touch of lemon, vanilla and vanilla yogurt. This well-made wine is juicy with integrated oak and a rounder finish.

Freshly grated lime zest greet the taster with pear, apple and wet stone minerality. The magic occurs on the palate with almost off-dry flavors of ripe peach, apricot, sundew melon, marzipan and yellow plum. The acidity is medium plus with a medium bodied frame that tastes riper than the aromas suggest.

This is a classic and well-made Gewurztraminer from a cool vintage. Aromas of lychee, ginger skin, and honeysuckle greet the nose of this medium-bodied wine and carry through to the bright and flavorful palate where lychee, white flowers, ginger, pear, and light brown spices add complexity. It is dry with integrated acidity and round texture.

Stone, honeydew melon, citrus and white pepper aromas lead to kiwi and citrus peel with touches of white pepper along with classic Finger Lakes minerality and more melon notes. Clean with moderate acidity and nice roundness, lemon-lime flavors persist on the finish.

Fruity, floral aromas and flavors of opal apples, cherry blossoms and apricot, with a supple, tangy, medium body and a polished and engaging long finish with shades of golden kiwi, ripe peach, pineapple, sultry with a long finish. The flavors seem honeyed with ugly fruit, cantaloupe and starfruit that is juicy sweet and very drinkable.

This exciting wine is a hybrid cross of Riesling and Cayuga developed by Cornell, and finally named Aravelle. This is aromatic and fruity with peach, apricot, fruit salad with herbs like sage. The palate is semi dry, rich and ripe fruited. There is peach, nectarine, apricot, mango, glazed tropical fruit and ginger. This bright wine has a little creaminess and would be excellent with spicy Asian fare that has some savoriness.

This wine exhibits classic aromatics of gooseberry, kiwi, passionfruit and lemongrass with typical grapefruit. The palate is clean, like a crunchy pear with lemon and lime, lemongrass and a slightly rounded texture.

The nose offers dry flowers and honeysuckle, leading to flavors with an essence of fruits. These include melon and melon rind, lemon, almost-ripe white peach, and green pear. This medium-bodied wine is minerally, refreshing, and clean.

Generous aromas of ripe pear, peach, and baked apples lead to a full bodied, creamy palate. Moderate acidity, rounded and succulent, supports the ripeness of the fruit. There’s a touch of sweet herbs, apricot, peach, and grilled pineapple on the way to a longer finish.

From the producer: Pale yellow colour. The nose shows the strong limestone influence: mineral, stone driven, citrus fruits and some white fruits (peach) after some aeration. The wine fermented in a large recent oak cask (foudre) and was on full lees until bottling. The palate is quite strict, bone dry, with a racy sapid acidity that gives a juicy texture on the finish. The wine has a nice concentration, but because it is bone dry with a ripe acidity, it feels elegant and delicate.

This pošip is medium weight with flavors of cooked golden apple, nectarine, honey (beeswax), and a touch of flint. It is dry with moderate acid and light tannin.
