Tasting Notes

This Bordeaux blend offers aromas of treebark, fig, very ripe plum, vanilla and a hint of spice. Medium bodied with lively acidity, it has fine, youthful tannins. The flavors of red currant, raspberry, and red plum bounce off of the wood in this bright, food-friendly wine.

Located on the eastern shores of Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate NY, Damiani Wine Cellars produces elegant, hand-crafted wines using grapes sourced from estate and managed low-yield, balanced vineyards.  Winemaker Lou Damiani and grape grower Phil Davis are forging a reputation within the Finger Lakes, marking it as a region capable of producing full-bodied vinifera red, and beautiful white wines. Together, Lou and Phil nurture over 23 acres of vinifera vines that surround the winery and tasting room.
