Lightly floral aromas with baking spice and cherry. The palate on this medium to light weight red is silky, with cranberry, strawberry and cherry notes.
A proprietary blend of estate-grown fruit, this wine is fermented in open-top vats. 72% of the wine ages in oak barrel for 9 months before bottling. Fruit for this cuvee currently comes from the 2019 and 2020 vintages.
The winery is owned by Mark Wagner and Josh Wig. They built the first architectural-showcase tasting room in the Finger Lakes, a gorgeous neo-Greek revival building beautifully sited on the east side of Seneca Lake. Lamoreaux Landing grows nine varieties of grapes (5 white and 4 red).
