The palate echoes the aromas with savory flavors that support its structure making it a lovely wine for just sipping or pairing with food. This wine has medium acidity on its medium frame and it plush without being rich. 

From the producer: Aromas bursting with ripe black cherry and blueberries with notes of milk chocolate, coffee and sweet smoke lend to a balance of plush fruit and powdery tannins in the mid palate, ending with a long and lingering finish with notes of bing cherry and spice.
