Aromatics of fresh green herbs, white pepper, spring peas and green melon introduce this wine. The palate is medium weight with good density for a Gruner Veltliner. Aromas of pear and apple continue through onto the palate, joining with flint, minerality, citrus and quince. This is medium weight with integrated acidity, succulence and freshness.

This white Burgundy is dry, but the fruit is ripe and gives richness, offering flavors of candied apple, sweet apple and peach.  There is a touch of smoke and lemon pith balancing the orchard notes. The texture is round and dense. 

Cheerful aromas of peach, melon, and a touch of florality. The palate is somewhere between dry and off-dry, with moderate acidity providing juiciness and structure. From the Producer: "This wine reflects the substance and diversity of southeast Seneca Lake. It fermented in both vats and old oak (228 liter Burgundy barrels and demi-muids) with indigenous yeasts for several months, as is typical of our wines. Combining aromas of mineral and fruit: mango, jasmine, flint, it delivers a balanced texture, straightforward while being both long and soft."

The wine presents aromas of peach, citrus, apricot pit, petrol and wet stone. On the palate, honeyed pear, peach and citrus combine with citrus and wet slate for a dry, minerally finish.

This is a wine which shows both density and sharp precision. The flavors range from lemon and lemon peel to flower blossoms, nectarine, white peach, quince and apricot. There is zingy tartness as well as round and chewy elements in this complex Riesling. Some lightly singed fruit peel, minerality and stone combines with lime as well. This delicious, textbook example of the St Aubin appellation is concentrated and offers good intensity of minerality and stone fruits. The wine begins with aromas of apple, wet stone, light baking spice/vanilla/toast notes. It is full bodied with notes of white pepper and flint joining apple and pear skin. Excellent quality, density and complexity to go with white meats, rich seafood and hearty vegetable casseroles.

Classic and pretty aromas of flowers, green pear, melon and lime blossoms introduce you to this wine. It has the lightest touch of sweetness, but the zippy and clean flavors keep it incredibly refreshing. Melons, pears, peppercorn and minerality can be found on the palate.

This full-flavored Riesling is dry; however, it gives generous and honeyed fruit that makes one perceive sweetness. This estate-grown Cayuga Lake Pinot Gris begins with aromas of stone fruits, both fresh and baked.  The palate is medium to full in weight, creamy and rich with ripe orchard fruits like pear, apple and apricot. The wine is just barely dry with bright acidity to balance it.

Aromas of soft apple, bosc pear, flint and herbs. There's a touch of roundness in the texture, yet the wine stays juicy. Medium body, apple, pear, lemon zest, leesiness and a light creaminess. Tasty and food friendly!

This wine begins with notes of fennel mixed with apple and pear. From the producer: Generously fruit-forward and refreshingly light, the Riesling Semi-Dry displays our signature varietal's natural verve. Sourced from early picks in vineyard blocks surrounding Seneca Lake, it offers aromas of wildflower and orchard fruit against a lean, citrus backbone.

From the producer: Pale yellow colour. The nose shows the strong limestone influence: mineral, stone driven, citrus fruits and some white fruits (peach) after some aeration. The wine fermented in a large recent oak cask (foudre) and was on full lees until bottling. The palate is quite strict, bone dry, with a racy sapid acidity that gives a juicy texture on the finish. The wine has a nice concentration, but because it is bone dry with a ripe acidity, it feels elegant and delicate.

Seductive notes of earth, turned leaves, and dark wild blackberries greet you on the nose of this Cru Beaujolais. This wine smells like new oak with mint, cinnamon and other spices with old leather notes. The palate is equally complex as the aromas suggest with licorice, chocolate covered cherries, black pepper, and black cherry. The texture is structured with the young tannins and dark fruit with medium acidity. This wine needs a steak!

Between medium and full-bodied, this offering from Southeastern Spain is chock full of mulberries, cooked plums and raspberries with a sprinkling of cocoa. Baking spices and a hint of underbrush linger through the finish.

Aromas are predominantly red fruited–cherry, raspberry, plum and spice box. There’s some fresh fig as well as spiced sweet cherry. This is a seamlessly textured wine with fine tannins. It’s medium-plus in weight with raspberry and raspberry coulis along with bramble; juicy acidity keeps it balanced.

This delicious red opens with deep aromas of smoke, tobacco, raspberry and blackberry with chocolate and coffee. Plush flavors of blackberry, black cherry, and fruit leather lend a touch of cola sweetness that is a nice counterpoint to the soft, fine tannins.

Aromas are complex, with smoke, raspberry compote, red currant candy, chocolate, and spice. The palate offers a variety of red berry fruit, lightly cooked so it releases juice. Bodegas El Nido was founded in 2002 and is part of the Gil Family Estate. The vineyards are comprised of 64 acres of old vine Monastrell, and 45 acres of 2- year old Cabernet Sauvignon. It was aged in barrels for about two years. This wine is big, complex and generous.

Aromas of leather and ripe fruits such as fig and prune introduce this wine. It is medium-plus in body with morello cherry and bitter cocoa flavors. The texture is quite supple with rounded tannins and moderate acidity.  Enjoy it with short ribs, hearty stews, charcuterie, or with sundried tomato pesto, lentils or black bean burritos.

This non-vintage red blend combines fruit-driven young wine with more mature reds. It begins with aromas of cooked red and black fruits, toast, tobacco, spices, roasted red peppers and herbs. It then  shows off well integrated cherry and currant fruit, toast, cinnamon, baking spices, sweet tobacco leaf and cigar box on the palate. This is ripe, but not jammy. It's just over medium weight with moderate acidity. A very good value!

Aromas of stewed and fresh blackberries, red and purple flowers, vanilla, black pepper and minerality greet you on the nose. This is medium to fuller bodied with fresh blackberry, black cap raspberry, bittersweet chocolate, tobacco and graphite. Lifting acidity and integrated acidity make this a wonderful food wine.

Complex aromas of dark cherry, plum, forest floor, cured meat, chalk and flowers. The palate is refreshing with blueberry, acai berries, red cherry, plum and cigar box flavors. Its tannins are soft and integrated with notes of cinnamon and nutmeg on the refreshing finish.

Savory aromas of forest floor, dried herbs and some dark black cherry tones can be found on the nose. It is a perfect sipper as it is medium weight, well balanced. and integrates moderate acidity. The palate shows red berry, blackberry, soft tannins and is fresh and food friendly. This wine would go wonderfully with pizza, spicy chili, rice dishes like paella, risotto or jambalaya, meatloaf, stuffed peppers or vegetarian lasagne.

Earthy aromas include bramble, mineral, garrigue, smoke, berry coolis and plum.  The palate is medium-plus in body with nice ripeness but not too heavy or overoaked. Flavors of red cherry and black currant, a touch of underbrush and black fruit supported by sleek slightly grippy tannins and juicy acidity lingering on the finish. This smells like an old underground cellar with still some tartness and violets. This wine would be an excellent gift or an alternative to a quality Cotes du Rhone.

Aromas are of red cherry, black cherry, plum, prune, rosemary and cinnamon. The palate gives complex flavors that include black cap raspberries and blackberries, along with cinnamon and cedar spice, Italian herbs, wood notes and a sweet smokiness. The finish in this delicious "baby Barolo" is long and structured.

The aromas are dark and rich with black cherry, concentrated cassis and stewed black fruit with a mineral back bone and a hint of smoke. The palate is mineral and more tart red fruit with moderate acidity. Rich and plush, with concentrated cherry tart, plum pudding and dark currant flavors that are well-structured, showing cocoa powder and allspice accents on the open-textured finish. The nose offers dried strawberries and cooked cherries with dried flowers and herbs. The medium-bodied palate is similar to the nose, with dried cranberries, cherries, and dried flowers. The texture is silky with very fine tannins; acidity is lifted. The wine is ripe but not overripe; it’s lightly savoury like an Italian wine but with New World fruit.

Les Hérétiques is a rustic wine, speaking strongly of its terroir. The nose offers spice, cedar, and black cherry fruit, and touches of iron/earth. The tannins are quite present but well-integrated with more black cherries, spice and a lingering meaty quality.

Notes of earth and leather on the nose with dark berries and oak. The medium-bodied palate has juicy acidity with blackberries, smoke, earth, forest floor, black pepper, and a pleasant, woody finish.

From the producer: Lynch-Bages 2015 has a brilliant, deep colour with purple hues. Its nose clearly expresses aromas of cassis and dark fruit, mixed with the empyreumatic notes that come with ageing. It has a straightforward attack and a voluminous yet supple mid-palate. The wine has a marked but silky tannic structure, and a persistent finish illustrative of a particularly ripe vintage.

Aromas include ripe dark cherry, cinnamon, stewed tomatoes and wood spice. Silky tannins support this savory and robust wine; flavors echo aromas with touches of black fruits added. The finish is long with hints of stony minerality.

This medium bodied Bordeaux has lovely minerality combined with plum fruit and black raspberry notes. The texture is finely tannined with fresh acidity lifting the flavors. There's good purity here, unadulterated by wood notes. This makes a great food partner for medium weight foods -- a red that can be enjoyed with white meats such as chicken and pork.

This wine gives mostly red fruits on the nose -- pomegranate, strawberry and raspberry, along with vanilla. It is medium plus in weight and quite rich with ultra-soft tannins that show it is in its prime drinking stage now. There are flavors of red cherry, raspberry, plum, strawberry coulis, licorice, vanilla and a touch of sassafras. You'll be talking about its texture though -- the integrated acidity and seamless tannins are a joy. What a value!

This cote du rhone presents aromas of smoke, dark fruit, and spice. Medium plus in body, with dark fruit, black currants, blackberries, dark chocolate, and wonderfully rounded tannins.

This co-fermented Chateauneuf is complex and appealing with scents reminiscent of potpourri, spiced plum, cassis and pressed flowers. There is a seduction about the aromas, like fine chocolate and wild animal; think truffle. It offers an opulent palate that is lovely, with blueberry, black currant, cooked plums, spice box, black tea, violets and forest floor. There are also hints of minerality and light toast joining with the ripe fruit. This full-bodied, flavorful red still offers "relief" and a sense of freshness which creates balance in the wine. It is texturally attractive and structurally balanced with medium acidity, well managed tannins and a long finish. 

Ripe red fruits, mulling spices, and underbrush open on the nose. This medium-bodied wine is complex with round tannins and integrated acidity. Black cherry, black caps, and herbed raspberry jam segue into light notes of underbrush and bramble on the finish.

Don't let this light red fool you! It's flavorful and satisfying with attractive red cherry, mineral and underbrush notes. The wine is fresh and exhileratingly crisp. Enjoy with light to medium weight foods or if you want to cut through the fat on a richer meal like barbeque or steak.

The nose gives strawberry, cranberry and red cherry cordial with some earthy soil component. The flavor is of summer strawberries, fresh bright raspberries with balanced acidity and body.

Our notes: Aromas are of plum, black cherry, earth and truffle. This is medium weight with black cherry, raspberry and plum fruit that's ripe, not tart. It is fresh with mostly pure fruit and a touch of cooked as well. There are hints of orange, cinnamon and chalk. Tannins are nicely rounded. From the producer: The beautiful deep ruby-violet colors of the Pinot Noir wine give way to aromas of very ripe red fruits (cherry, blackberry and raspberry). The nose is intense and well integrated, with aromas of cooked red fruits and roasted coffee beans. There are also hints of graphite and cinnamon. Very round and smooth on the attack, with tight tannins on the palate. In the mouth come flavors of smoke and prune. This wine is ready to drink, but could also be kept for some years.

Exquisite dark fruit aromas gracefully emanate from the glass, carrying hints of baking spice and potpourri notes. This fabulous Cabernet Franc exhibits everything we love about the variety: beautiful dark fruits, savory earth elements and fine, supple tannins. There's a light smokiness intertwined with mineral/iron notes amid plenty of plum, black cherry, blackberry fruit and juicy acidity to lift everything. The finish is persistent and complex.

Pretty aromas of red fruit and flowers, think of red currants, pomegranates, red cherries and violets. It has medium weight on the plate with medium acidity. The flavors are similar to the nose with pomegranate dominating with additional dried herbs, lavender and raspberry.

This is a nice value with great texture and ripe balance with flavors of blackberry and black currants with a long finish. Vibrant, with a fresh core of cherry and cassis notes backed by anise, apple wood and garrigue hints through the finish. Nice underlying juiciness throughout. From the Distributor: The nose opens on an array of refined ripe black fruit aromas, joined on airing by light toasted hazelnut notes. The palate has ripe black fruit notes found on the nose return on the rich and ample attack, while attractive spice and toast flavors bring remarkable complexity and intensity to the midpalate, underpinned by powerful tannins typical of Cabernet Sauvignon. The black fruit flavors return on the long and fresh finish.

Aromas are big, smoky, and spicy with blackberry, dark chocolate, and a hint of licorice. The palate has a nice lift and acidity, with flavors that match the aromas, including the pepper and blackberry. Medium plus in body with a persistent finish. The wine spends a year in American and French oak, with a further four months in bottle.

Notes of stewed dark berries and graphite unfold from the glass. Round tannins balance nicely with medium acidity while rich, ripe dark berries mingle seamlessly on the palate with coffee and dark chocolate flavors. Take a quick step back in time with our Fox Trot Red. This is a fruity red wine blend of Cabernet Franc and Concord grapes. The wine has residual sweetness, making it the right choice for all of you sweet red wine lovers. At the same time, it shows the fun, grapey side of Concord and the more serious, structured side of Cabernet Franc.

Aromas include black cap raspberries and black plum supported by touches of violets and black pepper. The medium-bodied palate boasts plum and blueberry flavors supported by herbs and pepper as well as soft, dusty tannins.

Aromas of cherry, crushed raspberries, minerals and flowers, show good typicity for Pinot. The dry palate is elegant, with more cherry fruit, a bit of toast, tea leaves, smoke and meatiness. Smooth and medium-bodied, the wine has moderate acidity that complements rather than obscures the abundant cherry and black currant fruit.

This wine is composed of equal parts sweet, ripe berries and stony minerality. There is a light earthiness, integrated tannins, refreshing acidity and very good density. It's perfectly balanced! Fruit of blueberries, blackberries, plums and black raspberries mix with some forest bramble. This is indicative of the Northern Rhone (winery in Cornas), but it's composed of Gamay.

Dense garnet in color. Concentrated aromas of black currant, fleshy plum, warm spices, cocoa, and grilled meats. Despite its age, there's still some baby fat here. The wine is spicy, with black raspberry, fruit compote, and savory notes. Medium plus in body and length with integrated tannins.

Complex old world aromas dominate the nose which touches of rose, sandalwood, leather and smoke all infused with small red fruits like pomegranate narils and red cherry or cherry compote. The palate is lovely with silky tannin structure with the complexity being more subtle than the nose suggested. Spicy, fruity aromas of red cherry and currant with a bit of darker fruit. While fleshy and red-fruited, the palate offers the acidity and bitterness typical of many Italian reds as well as some pepper and figs.

This wine begins with dark, steeped berries encircling fireplace and pine forest aromas. in the mouth, it is creamy and full-flavored, exhibiting wild black currant and dark chocolate flavors mixed with sweet tobacco and black cherry candy. This is a very aromatic wine, with fresh dark cherries and plums and a touch of pepper and bark. In the mouth, this is juicy, fruity (raspberries, figs, plums), and well structured by round tannins. It is complex, with a touch of savory dried herbs and woodsy notes, hints of coffee and chocolate, and a great mouthfeel. It’s definitely food-oriented, though it is also pleasurable alone.

The nose offers both fruit and savory notes. Fruits include cassis, black cherry, ripe blackberry, and plum skin. Light touches of smoke and earth make up the savory components. In the mouth, this wine is pleasantly herbal; fruits echo the aromas, adding a touch of raisin. This wine spends nine months in oak but we assume it is older oak because the aromas are fresh raspberry, red cherry and plum. The aromas are similar on the palate with additional fine tannins, integrated acid and balanced alcohol.

This lighter-bodied wine begins with a classic Pinot Noir nose—rose, cherry, red currant plum, raspberry and dusty earth—leading to a juicy palate with fresh acidity. Raspberries and their seeds join touches of herb, a lightly fleshy texture, and a savory finish. Approachable for light to medium weight foods and even spicy dishes.

This has been aged in newer oak, dill and coconut aromas mingle with stewed mixed fruit. This smells classic; old world spice, dried rose petals, touch of earth. The palate delivers olive tapenade, black pepper, tobacco and mixed red and black berries. The structure is medium plus in body, with just right tannin structure that could age longer, but is drinking well right now.

Aromas of cooked black berries, black olives, rosemary, yeast and rye bread jump out of the glass. This wine is medium-plus in body with ripe, but not heavy, fruits of black currants and black cherries mixed with rosemary and thyme. It is juicy and fresh with a light oak influence.

This aromatic wine gives cherry and strawberry, fruit leather, spiced and cooked cherries with pomegranate juice, blood orange and some incense notes. The palate has a bit of mulling spices and a touch of dehydrated fruit with good balance, easy texture and a velvety smoky finish.

This deeply colored wine offers powerful aromas of mulberry, mocha, sweet wood, and damson plum. In the mouth, it is juicy with moderate plus acidity. The aromas are echoed in the flavors—plum, dark chocolate, smoke, mulberry, and sweet wood. Tannins are fine-grained and nearly invisible, but they provide just enough structure. It is medium plus in body and length.

This wine is from phylloxera-free vineyards with unirrigated grapes, giving it a pronounced personality. Fresh red and cooked cherries, spiced plums, and light balsamic notes characterize the aromas. The palate is medium to medium plus in body with macerated cherries and raspberries, plum molasses, and some vanilla and cinnamon.
