Aromatic medium plus body, tropical aromas with hints of fennel. Creamy texture, nice freshness and minerality with notes of white tea and honeycomb. Subtle and unique!
The exceptionally distinquished Chateau Climens is classified as a 1er Cru Classe and known as the "Lord of Barsac". Its history dates to the 16th century, and only six families have owned the estate from its origins. This is a rare occurence which explains why its surface area in a continuous single vineyard gas practically remained unchanged since the date of its creation. At Chateau Climens, only the Semillon grape variety is used. Thanks to the limestone terrorir of the Climens, the estate is able to produce not only unique sweet wines but also exceptional dry white wines.
