Tasting Notes

The nose opens with lemon oil, juicy peaches, white flowers, elderflower, and a slight stoniness. Starfruit, lime juice, papaya and crunchy pineapple add to the palate, followed by a honeyed pear note that coats the mouth. Crisp acidity to finish with a hint of sweet basil and more peaches.

Red Tail Ridge, located on the west side of Seneca Lake, is the first Finger Lakes winery to obtain LEED Gold certification. The unoaked Chardonnay goes through 10% malolactic fermentation. Fermented in stainless steel. Sustainable.

Red Tail Ridge donates 10% of the gross profits from each bottle to "Foodlink," the regional food bank.
