The flavors are warming and deep with thorough, but balanced tannins. The finish offers touches of toasted coconut and vanilla. Pair with duck, wild game, lamb, roast pork, sausages, beef brisket, mushroom dishes and aged hard cheeses. It will work especially well with Mediterranean flavors such as rosemary, tapenade and roasted tomatoes.
