Tasting Notes

Aromas of lemon, lime, and grapefruit alongside peach and light grassy or boxwood notes. On the palate, the citrus notes are soft but refreshing, with peach and passion fruit flavors combined with a mineral undertone. Medium in body this wine is crisp, elegant, and well-balanced.

WINE INFORMATION

Prisma is a collaborative project between Brazos Wine Imports and Grupo Belen which began with the idea to showcase the unique terroir of the Casablanca Valley. The estate consists of multiple vineyards including some of the original plantings in Casablanca by Pablo Morande in 1982.

This wine is sustainably farmed from a single vineyard in Casablanca, Chile. Located 60 miles (100km) north west of the country's capital, Santiago, this cool coastal region is suited for more cold climate viticulture. Due to the coastal nature of the vineyards the misty chill nights and hot dry days means pinot noir responds well in this valley.

The grapes come from two sustainably certified vineyards in Casablanca Valley: Belén, & El Principal. The soil is a combination of sand and clay. All fruit is hand harvested and fermented in stainless steel.
