Tasting Notes
This Chardonnay is Kosher for Passover, Mevushal. Toasty, buttery aromas are complemented by flavors of lemon curd, vanilla, baked apple and pear.  Medium-plus in body and length.

Located in the former Santa Maria wineries and headed by master winemaker Peter Stern, the Baron Herzog winery enmeshes the future of high quality California wines with the stringencies of Kosher supervision and the Herzog family heritage of perfection.

The Herzog family can trace their winemaking origins back to Philip Herzog, who made wine in Slovakia for the Austro-Hungarian court more than a century ago. Philip’s wines were so appreciated by Emperor Franz-Josef, that the emperor made Philip a baron.
