Tasting Notes

This Finger Lakes Dry Riesling has a bright acidity, making it a wonderful wine to pair with food.  Clean aromas showcase classic Finger Lakes minerality, lime, and green apple notes.  The palate is bright and refreshing, with more citrus, melon, pear, and slate, balanced by a tart finish. 

This wine is made from estate fruit from several locations and is sustainably farmed.  The fruit is destemmed, crushed and fermented in stainless steel.

The winery is owned by Mark Wagner and Josh Wig.  They built the first architectural-showcase tasting room in the Finger Lakes, a gorgeous neo-Greek revival building beautifully sited on the east side of Seneca Lake.  Lamoreaux Landing grows nine varieties of grapes (5 white and 4 red).
