This enticing blend of six different white grapes is round and creamy with stone fruit (apricot, peach) flavors. Vibrant acidity and touch of lemon keeps it fresh and appealing.
Isle Saint-Pierre is a small island in the middle of the Rhône River 25 km south of Arles. Parisian wine merchant Pierre Chassaing founded this domaine in 1927; he planted vines and had a flock of 200 sheep (the sheep still provide the fertilizer used in the vineyards). Today, third-generation vigneron Julien Henry farms organically. Grapes are harvested by machine. Varieties are fermented and macerated separately and aged in tank.
