This opens with buttery aromas of toast, Golden Delicious apples, and a touch of lemon. In the mouth, the wine is ripe, with golden apples, some flinty minerality, creme brulée, apricot, and poached pear flavors. Medium plus in body with a longer finish.
From the Distributor: The Château London lieu dit is one of the Mâconnais’ oldest and most reputable terroirs, largely thanks to its microclimate and unique white limestone soils. This wine combines nine of its plots, some with vines over a century old, in an intensely aromatic and acid-driven wine.
