This succulent and unique Greek wine opens on the nose with light florality and honeysuckle, grapefruit, green tropical fruits and nectarine, followed by a round palate where mellow tropical fruits of candied pineapple, kumquat, mangosteen are balanced with white peach and a refreshing minerality. The texture and concentration of this North-West Macedonian white is matched with a lifted acidity, a well-balanced finesse, and an exquisite finish with the subtle bitterness of fruit peel and almond skin. 

Amandla, meaning “power within us” in the local Zulu dialect, is a truly one-of-a-kind venture. The South African wine business is entirely run by Black women, and their delicious wines celebrate the vibrancy of Black culture. The nose shows gooseberry, grapefruit pith, pink grape fruit, and papaya.

Floral aromas of apple blossom and jasmine, along with lime zest, grapefruit pith and dehydrated apricots with something close to lychee fruit. It's refreshing on the palate with lime, nectarine, and melon notes laced with green tea. This wine is appealing, refreshing and crowd pleaser.

Aromatics of fresh green herbs, white pepper, spring peas and green melon introduce this wine. The palate is medium weight with good density for a Gruner Veltliner. Soft and ripe yellow apple greet the drinker with floral notes and good intensity of lemon, nectarine and pear as well. The palate is similar to it's aromas but is medium in body with medium acidity and mineral flinty note that reminds us of a good Macon with a touch more fruit and floral concentration.

Aromas of peach and apricot lead to a medium-plus to full-bodied, generous white that gives tropical flavors of pineapple, orange and apricot. It is round in texture with moderate acidity and though dry, it expresses a beeswax/honey note.

This Chenin Blanc has a nose suggestive of spring flowers with hints of honeysuckle, all supported by balanced, clean acidity. Floral notes open to a mid-palate with tropical guava, citrus and melon flavors. The wine finishes dry and lingers long on the palate. 

Medium aromas of green apple, melon, pear, and subtle minerality. Refreshing and lively acidity with flavors that echo the nose, accented by a citrus-laden finish.

Nice and round with pear and green apple that is ripe, but not heavy. No real signs of oakiness here, except for textural generosity. This is a 500ml size (2/3 of a bottle).

We are impressed with box chardonnay because it is crisp, clean and has a lot of fresh flavors like lemon zest, yellow apple and honeydew melon. It is is medium acidity and medium bodied with a finish of pear and minerality.

Medium aromatics with peach and apricot, apple, with a refreshing hint of citrus. The palate is round yet fresh with flavors of pear, wet stone, and a little beeswax character. It is medium in body, with a long finish.

Subtle aromas of dried meadow, yellow plum, and nectarine on the nose. The wine features a lovely creamy/waxy texture with balanced acidity, highlighted by ripe apricot and touches of herbs on the palate.

This white Burgundy is dry, but the fruit is ripe and gives richness, offering flavors of candied apple, sweet apple and peach.  There is a touch of smoke and lemon pith balancing the orchard notes. The texture is round and dense. 

This is classic Macon with its creamy texture and fresh crisp apple flavors.  Stainless steel aging adds to its freshness with subtle pear notes lingering on the finish.

The nose opens on powerful citrus fruit aromas, followed on airing by delicate notes of white blossom and tropical fruit. The refined and fresh attack reveals subtle notes of white blossom and guava, leading into an intense and dense midpalate marked by an explosion of citrus fruit flavors recalling the aromas found on the nose. White blossom flavors return on the elegantly mineral finish.

This light and zippy white gives flavors of green apple, apple blossom, juicy peach, lemon, and lime. Crisp and zesty with additional citrus on the finish. Perfect for a hot day on the boat!

Medium aromatics of lemon/lime, talc-like minerality and starfruit begin the nose of this refreshing white.  It's ripe on entry with juicy peach and lemon flavors supported by refreshing acidity and a long, round apricot and pear tinged finish.

The wine presents aromas of peach, citrus, apricot pit, petrol and wet stone. On the palate, honeyed pear, peach and citrus combine with citrus and wet slate for a dry, minerally finish.

Kermit Lynch tasting note:Very pure Sancerre aroma, generous, fresh, without grassy edges. The palate is expansive, then the nervosity makes its appearance and the finish is dry and lipsmackingly good. One of the things I love about it is that it leaves on the lips, not the palate, not the throat, but on your lips, a fresh little lemony whisper which makes it a fabulous complement to simple fish dishes.

This is high quality Gruner Veltliner with more density and depth than an entry level wine. It is succulent and juicy with attractive florality and notes of fennel, white peach, almond paste and coriander. The texture is waxy-creamy, yet still zippy.

Aromas are of nectarine, apple, flowers, honey , pear and peach fuzz. The palate is medium plus in weight with succulent orchard fruits (apple, peach, pear) and some tropical notes (passionfruit underripe mango). This enticing blend of six different white grapes is round and creamy with stone fruit (apricot, peach) flavors. Vibrant acidity and touch of lemon keeps it fresh and appealing.

This Georgian variety gives aromas are of apple, dried herbs and hay while the medium-plus bodied palate displays nice ripeness with apple, apple skin, quince and peach fruits. These are balanced by savory hay, chamomile, white pepper and wildflowers before concluding with a citrusy finish.

This estate-grown Cayuga Lake Pinot Gris begins with aromas of stone fruits, both fresh and baked.  The palate is medium to full in weight, creamy and rich with ripe orchard fruits like pear, apple and apricot. The wine is just barely dry with bright acidity to balance it.

This very aromatic wine offers lightly bitter ginger skin and lychee. It smells as though it might be too much of a good thing, but it isn’t. Lovely flavors of citrus, ginger, lychee, and orange blossom join clean acidity in this medium-bodied wine with a longer finish.

A medium bodied wine with some savory notes and wet stone, with not a lot of fruit aromatically. The palate delivers this in spades with nectarine, lemons, green apple and minerality. In this blend, Alvarinho, full of tropical fruit and structure, contrasts with Loureiro, floral and delicate, resulting in a lively yet elegant REGION white wine. Freshly grated lime zest greet the taster with pear, apple and wet stone minerality. The magic occurs on the palate with almost off-dry flavors of ripe peach, apricot, sundew melon, marzipan and yellow plum. The acidity is medium plus with a medium bodied frame that tastes riper than the aromas suggest.

This is a classic and well-made Gewurztraminer from a cool vintage. Aromas of lychee, ginger skin, and honeysuckle greet the nose of this medium-bodied wine and carry through to the bright and flavorful palate where lychee, white flowers, ginger, pear, and light brown spices add complexity. It is dry with integrated acidity and round texture.

Stone, honeydew melon, citrus and white pepper aromas lead to kiwi and citrus peel with touches of white pepper along with classic Finger Lakes minerality and more melon notes. Clean with moderate acidity and nice roundness, lemon-lime flavors persist on the finish.

Pale yellow straw colour. The nose shows the great pedigree of the vineyards it originates, delivering complex fruit aromas (peach, nectarines, quince….) as well as an underlying minerality. It is also quite showy at this young age and will continue to open up with time. The 2019 Roche Calcaire has a beautiful velvety mouth texture that shows great energy. The acidity brings harmony and make the wine taste actually quite dry and delicate

Dark cherry, cola, and spice aromas entice on the nose. The palate is warming with more dark fruits, chocolate-covered raisins and touches of campfire and pepper. Velvety tannins support the spicy finish of this fuller-bodied wine.

Mixed berries on the nose and the palate. There is nice spice integration with medium tannins and integrated acidity with darker fruit like plum, black cherries, and blackberries.

A very traditional Burgundy with an open body and loads of fruit to boot. The palette follows the nose with red and black cherries, tinges of earth, finishing with round tannins and the complexity that comes with age.

Quite fresh like brambly raspberry juice.  This un-fined and unfiltered, light red is slightly structured and refreshing when served with a slight chill.

This wine looks light in the glass but is delicious and ripe with some oak and spice notes. Aromas include raspberry, black cherry, and forest floor. Round and soft on the palate with savory and integrated smoke flavors supported by a touch of black pepper. It is medium in body and acidity.

Aromas of Morello cherries, cherry candy, ripe strawberry, tomato leaf/tobacco, and plum. The fruit is backed up by an array of savory components--earth, white pepper, herb stems--in the mouth alongside Birch beer and cola notes. It is medium weight with soft tannins; acidity provides most of the structure.

Opulent aromas include blackberry, raspberry, and cassis balanced by touches of bramble, vanilla and dark chocolate. This broad-textured wine has a long finish with notes of baking spice and fruits echoing the aromas.

This wine is well crafted with interesting and lovely aromas. The nose starts out with a combination of blackberry, plum, earth, lovely mineral and baking spice. This is just over medium bodied with flavors that match the nose. Darker fruits especially, like wild black raspberry, plums and black cherry, mineral components, savory flavors, moderate and very fine tannins and juicy acidity that makes this wine supple. Aromas include ripe red cherry, black cherry and plum and a whiff of pink peppercorn, and bergamont. The palate is soft and bright with juicy red fruit of pomegranates, red currants and cherry. The palate also has light black tea, thyme, with potentially light oak influence. You could drink this lighter-bodied wine slightly chilled or as a great affordable alternative to Gamay!

The nose presents cherries, cranberries, herbs, flowers, and coffee. The palate follows with herbs, black pepper, black cherries, and basil. This is definitely a cool weather wine, the body is medium structured and all around delicate.

This wine spends nine months in oak but we assume it is older oak because the aromas are fresh raspberry, red cherry and plum. The aromas are similar on the palate with additional fine tannins, integrated acid and balanced alcohol.

Ripe blackberry and a touch of coffee on the nose lead to ripe black cherry and currant flavors. There’s nice concentration supported by baking spice, pepper, and lingering coffee notes on the longer finish.

The wine label is quite appropriate as this rosé gives aromas of strawberry, raspberry and cherry just like the beautiful illustration on the front. On the palate, it is lightly zippy with crisp acidity and a pleasant tartness. Fruit of strawberry, lemon and white raspberry along with light minerality and effervescence are reminiscent of strawberry lemonade. However, don't worry, this wine is completely dry, nicely balanced and very pretty!

This dry rosé is perfectly balanced, soft, and thirst quenching. Fresh red berries, especially strawberry, a touch of floral character and peach are well-balanced by fresh acid and minerality on the palate. The wine is dry with strawberries lingering on the finish.

A beautiful deep pink in color with distinct mineral aromas with hints of undergrowth. The palate is fruit-driven and delicate with hints of minerality and finishes with a gentle persistence.

This traditional sparkling half bottle is full of butter biscuit aromas with some membrillo on top. There are notes of blueberry and whipped cream with soft citrus and yellow apple notes. The palate has a bursting bead with white pepper and more blueberry, white flowers with a long mineral finish.

This wine is sweetly aromatic, offering strawberry, raspberry, and a touch of orange peel. This sparkling wine offers aromatics of apple, pear and melon. It is generous, fruit forward and ripe with good concentration of apple and white peach. Completely dry, yet lush and . tasty with a long finish.

This has a very nice, frothy mousse. It's more of a crisp, clean, minerally style, not very fruity, but not austere either. Notes of lemon, stone and biscuit can be found in this finely-textured, persistent Champagne.

This winery is solar powered, This is a blend of five vintages from the Cotes de Bar and is 100% Chardonnay. This could be enjoyed by itself or with a meal because it is very versatile. Aromas of melon, brioche, and floral notes, apple flesh, baked biscuits, lemon peel and minerality. The palate is fruit forward but has notes of vanilla and honey. The texture has a bit of a prickle with refreshing star bright acidity. This is exceedingly pretty.

A fresh and lively Prosecco with lots of lemon and lime character, as well as spiced pears. Medium body, lovely fruit and a fresh finish. Green apple and fragrant spring-blossom aromas leap out of the glass while the enjoyable palate delivers creamy white peach, citrus and pear. It's bright and charming, with crisp acidity and a foaming mousse.

This off-dry, easy drinking delight offers peach, white grape and wet stone aromas. The palate is juicy and effervescent with flavors echoing the aromas and touches of pineapple.

This quaffable sake offers aromas of melon, citrus and rice with touches of umami and banana notes. It is creamy with good density and ripeness, giving fruit forward notes of melon, lychee, tropical rambutan and banana, along with touches of yeast and rice. A champagne method style cider with  a moderate bouquet of blueberry and blackcurrant and blackcap notes, yellow soft baked apple and some lime zest. The palate is semi-dry and crisp with soft tannin structure there is some ripe peach flavor and cherry pit. There is a distinctive crab apple grip to the finish and is tart and approachable. 

The nose is of cherry candy, orange, citrus and cinnamon. Lifted licorice and medicinal red cherry are sweet and viscous with a biting bitterness on the midpalate to the finish. This is dominated by red cherry with oranges and a long, bitter almond finish.

This delicious rum is fragrant with coffee bean and white chocolate notes. On the palate, it gives white flavors like white chocolate, vanilla, custard cream and white pepper. This Mezcal has a lovely balance of smoke and sweetness which makes it extremely approachable.

This appealing, soft, French gin gives notes of fig, fig leaves, a fruity  sweetness, black pepper and a creamy mouthfeel. It is as attractive on the palate as it's bottle.

Bright raspberry, blackberry, plum and red cherry notes, spices, gentian bitterness and hints of burdock, bergamot, blood orange, cinnamon and red licorice are well blended. There's a pleasant sweetness (hint of cherry cola) that's balanced by an amaro note. Good viscosity lends itself to light dilution.

Notes of mandarin orange, marmalade, and tangerine combine with white flowers in the glass. Despite being a little cloudy (it's unfiltered) the flavors are clean and precise - morphing into orange blossom on the palate.

This skin-contact Pinot Grigio is the color of a rosé and tastes somewhere between an orange wine and a dry rosé. It is clean and fresh with lively scents of strawberry, rose and apple. The palate is medium to full-bodied with more strawberry, along with nectarine, red currants, cherry and peach notes. It is at the same time creamy and juicy with slight salinity and tannin providing a framework to the wine. A very interesting and captivating wine.
