This is the creamy buttery style of chardonnay with a medium plus palate that shows some oak use but is integrated with acidity. There are flavors of baked apple, butter and caramel that has a creamy finish.

It deftly balances concentration with fresh acidity, making it perfect for drinking on its own or versatile with food.

Freshly grated lime zest greet the taster with pear, apple and wet stone minerality. The magic occurs on the palate with almost off-dry flavors of ripe peach, apricot, sundew melon, marzipan and yellow plum. The acidity is medium plus with a medium bodied frame that tastes riper than the aromas suggest.

Pale yellow straw colour. The nose shows the great pedigree of the vineyards it originates, delivering complex fruit aromas (peach, nectarines, quince….) as well as an underlying minerality. It is also quite showy at this young age and will continue to open up with time. The 2019 Roche Calcaire has a beautiful velvety mouth texture that shows great energy. From the Producer: 01/2024: Bright pale yellow colour. The nose is impressive, precise, showing wet stones aromas typical from granitic soils, still tighter and leaner than the Riesling Roche Granitique (the younger vines) but eventually opens up with aeration and revealing white fruit aromas. The palate has a mineral density, voluptuous with tension. The finish is dry and long, showing a reassuring richness. The absence of stress in the vineyard can be seen in this harmonious wine that will be capable of good ageing.

From the producer: 01/2024: Pale yellow colour. Restraint nose, profoundly influenced by the volcanic soil: smoke, flint, earthy, which eventually opens to more fruity aromas after a long aeration. Very complex nose but a strong originality and identity. The palate at first appears to have a medium power but builds up to a long dry aftertaste. As often in the past, the Rangen Riesling always manages to hide its power in his youth. Harmonious structure, vivacious acidity which finishes with strong salty flavours, adding to the length of the wine. This wine appears to be delicately chiselled and full of energy in a solar and warm vintage. To keep!

Aromas of melon, brioche, and floral notes, apple flesh, baked biscuits, lemon peel and minerality. The palate is fruit forward but has notes of vanilla and honey. The texture has a bit of a prickle with refreshing star bright acidity. This is exceedingly pretty.

A subtle and soft sake but with complex rounded flavors. A wonderful one for sipping by itself. The nose on this flavorful Daiginjo is a collection of cherry, mango, tropical fruit, powder sugar and Marigold elements. It is supremely smooth and soft in a Kyoto water kind of way, and there is a very sublime flavor of pear, apple, and powdered sugar. 

Kurosawa Nigori Sake retains a visible level of rice sediments that enhance its body and texture. This sake's fruity nose and creamy umami flavor make it an excellent complement to spicy foods. Serve cold or chilled, Shake well before serving.

Capable of pairing with food or enjoying by itself this sake is smoky mixed with toasted nuts and tropical fruit. The palate is very creamy, dense and lush with round and bright tropical fruit.

Medium to full-bodied with good concentration and density. Bright apricot, pineapple and golden apple join with a savory chamomile note and a touch of honey in this creamy and lush, dry, impressive, organic sake.

Fruity yet delicate with pleasant aromas of green apple, pear and hints of anise. There are secondary notes of pear, mint, and bright tropical fruit. The palate has some sesame seed, meadow flowers and is very easy and pleasing. Smooth dry and light on entry with honeysuckle, minerality, creamy apple and a long finish. This delicious, organic junmai daiginjo sake is delicious with food.

A champagne method style cider with  a moderate bouquet of blueberry and blackcurrant and blackcap notes, yellow soft baked apple and some lime zest. The palate is semi-dry and crisp with soft tannin structure there is some ripe peach flavor and cherry pit. There is a distinctive crab apple grip to the finish and is tart and approachable. 

Here’s a skin contact white wine that is simply scrumptious, this offers scents of blood orange and savory Italian herbs. The flavors deliver peach, grapefruit pith, white tea and chamomile that end with a pleasant bitterness. The wine is medium bodied with an elegant texture and long finish.
