This lovely Gewurztraminer gives aromas of lychee, ginger skin, rosewater and honeysuckle following on to a bright and flavorful palate where lychee, jasmine, ginger, pear, and lime zest add complexity. It is medium plus in body, with good ripeness, integrated acidity and a round texture, finishing with citrusy notes.

Aromas of dark fruits, light earth and nutmeg introduce this wine. It is medium plus in body with blackberry, black raspberry, baking spice, dark earth and tobacco. Although it offers density, the tannins and acid are well integrated, giving a soft and silky texture. It’s the perfect party quaffer or pair with steak, beef stew, or roasted lamb shanks, liberally involving charring, grilling or smoking. You can also enjoy this South American red with stuffed peppers, mushrooms, beans and Mexican dishes.

This Paso Robles Syrah is big and velvety. Loaded on the nose and palate with plum, cola, dried fig, baking spice, and black cherry. Exceptionally smooth and plush, the cold weather doesn't stand a chance with this cozy Syrah on the table!

From the Producer, "An old-world inspired red wine, but not an old-world Cabernet Franc. Bramble fruit and kalamata olive on the nose give way to a midpalate of raspberry, violet, and savory sage notes. While the wine is a lighter color, the tannins and richness of the midpalate are anything but. This structure carries through to a long, dry finish that we are simply over the moon about."

Between medium and full-bodied, this offering from Southeastern Spain is chock full of mulberries, cooked plums and raspberries with a sprinkling of cocoa. Baking spices and a hint of underbrush linger through the finish.

From the Producer This year’s rendition is 76% Zinfandel, 11% Carignan, 5% Petite Sirah, 4% Grenache and 3% Cinsault, with the remainder being assorted mixed varieties such as Mourvèdre, Negrette and more. Though a blend of over a dozen ranches, the majority comes from Teldeschi, Evanghelho, Katushas, Nervo, Sodini, Beeson, Bedrock, Old Hill, and Papera. We are extremely pleased with the resulting wine—one that shows off freshness, wonderful fruit tones, spice, and pepper laden perfume built around a core of flat-out delicious fruit character. This one should be a great crowd-pleaser.

This delicious red opens with deep aromas of smoke, tobacco, raspberry and blackberry with chocolate and coffee. Plush flavors of blackberry, black cherry, and fruit leather lend a touch of cola sweetness that is a nice counterpoint to the soft, fine tannins.

Complex, savory aromas of red and black berry, cocoa, cola spices, smoke and iron-like minerals entice on the nose. Flavors on the palate are well-integrated and echo the aromas ending with a long, spicy-vanilla finish.

This Spanish blend of Garnacha and Syrah opens with dark, brooding, smokey cherry aromatics. The body is rich with juicy black cherry, chocolate, candied cherries, and touches of smoke. Finishing with soft tannins which complement the smoke and chocolate quite nicely.

Bodegas El Nido was founded in 2002 and is part of the Gil Family Estate. The vineyards are comprised of 64 acres of old vine Monastrell, and 45 acres of 2- year old Cabernet Sauvignon. It was aged in barrels for about two years. This wine is big, complex and generous.

This Spanish red blend has pronounced aromas of dark fruits, raspberry coulis, baking spices, and black olives that extend onto the palate. The palate offers a more robust body with lifted acidity and fine tannins. Hints of coffee, integrated smoke, and other savory notes complement the ripe fruit.

This Tempranillo, Merlot, Garnacha blend is a serious wine, its black fruits (cherry and raspberry) bonding with graphite, iron, dark earth, and chocolate aromas. The palate is medium bodied; its concentration and complexity emerge with exposure to air. It finishes with a touch of forest floor and smoke framed by food-friendly tannins.

This smells dark fruited and deep with integrated notes of smoke and savory forest/herbs. It is medium weight with an amalgam of clove and black pepper mixing with dark cherries and structuring acidity that keeps the wine lifted and fresh. Enjoy with red meat, Mediterranean dishes or just on its own by the campfire!

Approachable but thorough tannins support ripe cherry and raspberry notes. The acidity is fresh and balanced by earthier floral, cocoa and smoke flavors.

Aromas of cured meat, tar, and smoky dark fruit lead to flavors of charred, tar, ash, and darker fruits like black cherries and black currants. This wine has a lovely texture for Nebbiolo, with soft tannins and medium acidity providing structure.

The texture is silky with very fine tannins; acidity is lifted. The wine is ripe but not overripe; it’s lightly savoury like an Italian wine but with New World fruit.

Purple color with red ruby tones. The nose offers elegant aromas of spices, and fresh herbs as thyme and rosemary, red berries, cassis and raspberries, with layers of cedar. The mouthfeel is full and rich with cassis, raspberries flavors and notes of black pepper and oregano. The finish is bright and fresh with finely grained tannins.

This 100% Syrah shows classic elements of black cherry, red plum, and garrigue on the nose. It is terroir-driven with sandalwood, licorice, light smoke, garrigue and amaro-esque medicinal herbs. The palate is medium weight with just-right acidity, rendering it a pleasant and easy drinking wine with nice complexity. Try with braises of root vegetables or with beans or lentils, chicken, lamb and beef dishes, or sautéed mushrooms. Add rosemary and thyme to pick up the wine’s herbal profile.

From Decanter Concentrated autumnal fruit offers a hawthorny bramble of blackberry and bilberry. Big-framed, muscular tannins are joined by plenty of acidity - it's very clearly built to last and confident in its ability to reward those with patience. Matured in 50% new oak. From the producer: Lynch-Bages 2015 has a brilliant, deep colour with purple hues. Its nose clearly expresses aromas of cassis and dark fruit, mixed with the empyreumatic notes that come with ageing. It has a straightforward attack and a voluminous yet supple mid-palate. The wine has a marked but silky tannic structure, and a persistent finish illustrative of a particularly ripe vintage.

Aromas include ripe dark cherry, coffee, and a touch of smoke. The flavors echo the aromas with earthy blackberries, ripe black cherries and barbeque notes. This is ripe, savory and robust, yet stays balanced with a velvety mouthfeel.

"Jean-Michel Laporte (previously at La Conseillante) arrived as technical director in 2018, just as this wine was being bottled, and it's not a bad vintage to usher him in to the world of Château Talbot. I drank this at friend's house a few months ago, and it had been open 24 hours by the time we were pouring it out, which just might be the ideal time, as the tannins were soft and open, and everything felt plush and welcoming. It has the balance of the appellation, the precision that Talbot has increasingly showcased over the past few years, and a sappy feel to the tannins. 50% new oak. This cote du rhone presents aromas of smoke, dark fruit, and spice. Medium plus in body, with dark fruit, black currants, blackberries, dark chocolate, and wonderfully rounded tannins.

Perfumed aromas of red plum and mixed cherries are fragrant and inviting. On entry, this medium weight wine has soft tannins with gentle and ripe red fruit at the core and a cocoa edge, balanced by fresh acidity.

This liter bottle presents intense notes of black currant, cooked blackberry, and a touch of cigar smoke. Medium-weight with fine tannins, integrated acid and ripe dark cherry, it can be enjoyed with a slight chill.

On the nose, this wine gives aromas of dark fruits and toasty oak. It is medium plus in body, ripe and concentrated, yet stays refined and fresh. Fruit of macerated black currants and spiced berries are joined by flavors of mocha, chocolate, toast, mulling spices, cinnamon and black pepper. It has round tannins and integrated acidity.

MC² is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon and is our fan-favorite red blend meant for everyday consumption. Each variety and vineyard are picked, fermented, and aged separately and combined after 10 months of ageing in barrel before bottling. In 2023, this blend was 63% sourced from east Seneca Lake and 37% sourced from west Cayuga Lake, with 51% of the blend being from our estate vineyards. With the varying topographies, soils, vineyard age, and varieties planted, the blend truly encapsulates the season from mid-September through the end of October.

Vibrant aromas include cassis, menthol/eucalyptus, sundried tomato, and baking spice. Concentrated flavors echo the aromas with more rich black fruit and menthol supported by supple, integrated tannins; warm spices linger on the longer finish.

Perfumed aromas that draw the drinker in with black cherry, forest floor and mulling spices. This wine is clearly developed and clean with fine tannins and integrated acidity. The flavors are similar to the aromas but a touch brighter with ripe cherry and a touch of smoke shining through.

This fabulous Cabernet Franc exhibits everything we love about the variety: beautiful dark fruits, savory earth elements and fine, supple tannins. There's a light smokiness intertwined with mineral/iron notes amid plenty of plum, black cherry, blackberry fruit and juicy acidity to lift everything. The finish is persistent and complex.

This elegantly perfumed Pinot Noir is savory with nice density of flavor and color with a layers of flavors. One will find dry earth, violets, spiced plums, mulling spices and ripe cranberry. The texture is medium in weight with fine tannins and a fresh finish.

A fragrant wine with lavender, blackberry, raspberry, warm earth, and touch of wild herbs. The flavors have classic Rhone character-- fleshy and darkly fruited with grippy structured tannins that give a root like quality. There are some mineral notes and black olives with red raspberry and smoke on the long finish.

Notes of stewed and dried raspberry, plum, Provençal herbs, tomato leaf and balsamic can be found on the nose. The palate offers fresh red fruit and raspberry jam with supple tannins, good lift and wonderful integration. This is an immensely pleasurable and quaffable wine.

This is a riper more modern style of Burgundy, making it very approachable to new Burgundy drinkers, with ripe red fruited aromas, cherries, tobacco, and candied cranberries. A medium bodied and savory pinot with plum, raspberry, medium acid, and grippy tannins.

Vibrant dark cherry aromas are enhanced by touches of cocoa and spiced nuts. The palate is ripe and well-balanced by supple tannins with cherry pie-like flavors of oak spice and vanilla.

An experimental wine made by fermenting and aging organic Aglianico in untreated clay amphora, Titolo by Amphora channels the grape’s natural power into a soft and supremely nuanced wine. As the amphora become seasoned year after year, the wine takes on a fuller body after its 18-month aging regimen.

"The 2020 Coyam is a blend of 38% Syrah, 37% Carménère, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Carignan, 4% Garnacha, 4% Mourvèdre, 2% Petit Verdot, 1% Malbec and 1% Tempranillo from the Los Robles vineyard in Colchagua. It was aged for 18 months, 75% in barrels and the rest in and eggs. A rich purple in the glass. The complex nose features nuanced aromas ranging from blackberry to blueberry and currant with hints of cedar and spice. In the mouth, it’s juicy with a grippy texture and delicate, concentrated but relaxed tannins before the lengthy finish. It seems that the healthy biodynamic vineyard was able to withstand the warmth of 2020. An extremely well-made wine that handled the conditions with aplomb."

The palate has a nice lift and acidity, with flavors that match the aromas, including the pepper and blackberry. Medium plus in body with a persistent finish. The wine spends a year in American and French oak, with a further four months in bottle.

This sustainable wine invites you with aromas of cooked plums and black cherry candy along with exotic spices and an inviting smokiness. The palate is just over medium weight with plum, blackberry and black cherry fruits of a pure, fresh and attractively dense nature. There is a touch of minerality in this well-balanced wine while juicy acidity and fine tannins provide the perfect structure.

Rustic aromas of warm earth, barn, worn leather, and herbs complement ripe red fruits (cranberry, red currant and cooked strawberry) on the nose. More red fruit on the palate is supported by fresh acid and integrated tannins providing a pleasing mouthfeel. Touches of spice and earthy minerals round out the finish.

The nose and palate of this medium- to fuller-bodied wine are similar: Brandied fruit (blackberries, black cap raspberries, cherries), rose petal, grilled nuts, garrigue, and pepper. Medium in both acid and tannin, it is supple, fresh, and easy to drink.

This opens immediately with appealing aromas of raspberry compote, warm earth, Moroccan spices, campfire smoke, and sweet dark fruits. The body has lovely texture and density, with notes of purple flowers, plum, raspberry, and pressed rose, finishing with silky acidity.

The oak is well integrated in this fruit-driven, well balanced, lush and deep red, yet the tannins are soft and ripe.

This chillable red from Greece is brimming with geranium, cherry candy, flint, black pepper, and red fruited aromas. The body is clean with watermelon juice and rind, black pepper, red cherry, and tea tannins. Medium bodied with good complexity, it has interesting minerality and a savory herbal finish.

This medium-plus bodied red from Uruguay offers brooding dark fruit, integrated smoke, espresso, graphite and light earth flavors. The texture is velvety with fresh acidity. This wine is elegant, unique and well made.

This wine is composed of equal parts sweet, ripe berries and stony minerality. There is a light earthiness, integrated tannins, refreshing acidity and very good density. It's perfectly balanced! Fruit of blueberries, blackberries, plums and black raspberries mix with some forest bramble. This is indicative of the Northern Rhone (winery in Cornas), but it's composed of Gamay.

Supple, concentrated, and seamless, the palate displays vibrant fruit with undertones of tilled earth and sea salt. Firm, integrated tannins provide a structured backbone to the opulence of the wine, finishing with a lasting, powerful impression.

It is complex, with a touch of savory dried herbs and woodsy notes, hints of coffee and chocolate, and a great mouthfeel. It’s definitely food-oriented, though it is also pleasurable alone.

This bold and elegant Washington state Cabernet Sauvignon is quite aromatically forward with black fruit and berries, tobacco, wood spice, and herbs. The palate is quite spicy and follows the aromatics with sweet herbs, bay leaf, cigar box, black pepper, cola, and loads of dark fruit. Well balanced and full bodied with excellent texture.

This is a great-value, Italian version of Zinfandel. The nose is lifted with floral aromas balancing the dark berries. On the palate, the fruit remains dark and rich with smoke, toast and cherry cola notes. Well balanced and rounded in texture, this is a fun party or camp fire wine!

An inviting bouquet of fresh cherries and ripe strawberries perfectly capture the fruity character of this wine. Flavors are delicious, bright and youthful with loads of fresh red fruit and mild tannins. 

From the vineyards on the outskirts of Šibenik, Croatia, comes this Babic by winemaker Ivica Piližota. Aged for 6-8 months in large Slavonian oak, this Babic gives us aromas of ripe dark fruit, particularly blackberries, blueberries, plums, and figs. These aromas are accompanied by the typical earthiness and barnyard of the Babic grape, which is what gives this wine a certain body weight. The palate is traditional Babic – smooth, yet firm, mouthwatering acidity. It is gamey, and its petite tannins allow for a gentle finish.

Wild aromatics of wild berries and crushed cherries with forest floor with some baking spice and potpourri. The color is darker than a traditional Nebbiolo yet the tannins are soft and integrated. This is not effusive. It is medium bodied with medium plus acidity and ends with rose water, black tea and some smoke. This is approachable now!

This appassimento wine uses dried grapes to concentrate the flavors. It is soft and supple in texture with velvety tannins on a medium frame. Stewed black and red fruits are accompanied by light tobacco and spice and a touch of smoke. Notes of blackberry, black cherries, and dates follow through to spices and dried herbs on the finish.

This dry red blend is Bordeaux-like, but quite fruity with flavors of plum, red cherry, black raspberry and blackbery. It is medium weight with crisp acidity, a pleasant tartness and moderate tannins. You'll also find light smokiness, some black pepper and lingering blueberry notes. Overall, this wine is nicely harmonized and a great food partner.

Aromas of cooked black berries, black olives, rosemary, yeast and rye bread jump out of the glass. This wine is medium-plus in body with ripe, but not heavy, fruits of black currants and black cherries mixed with rosemary and thyme. It is juicy and fresh with a light oak influence.

This aromatic wine gives cherry and strawberry, fruit leather, spiced and cooked cherries with pomegranate juice, blood orange and some incense notes. The palate has a bit of mulling spices and a touch of dehydrated fruit with good balance, easy texture and a velvety smoky finish.

This Napa Cabernet Sauvignon smells of black tea, black currants, and macerated dark fruits such as black cherries and plums. The palate is elegant and medium in body, presenting more black tea, black cherries, some smoke, spice, integrated acid, and fine tannins.

From the producer: Blackberry, bacon, graphite, blueberry, rose. With the 2021 vintage, I have reverted to the intrinsic character of my first Côtes du Rhône from 1997 to 2000. This intense, energetic Syrah with its crimson hue is fresh with ‘espressivo cantabile’ aromas of red berry fruits and a rounded palate.

Aromas of dried black cherry and blueberry dance with root beer, vanilla, and oak spices. The wine is fuller-bodied and a touch sweet with rich black currents and dates, more cola flavors, and is a bit smoky, especially on the finish. It is medium-plus in body with supporting acid and tannins.

Aromas reminiscent of the Old World with a fresh spin; think tart red fruit, minerality, forest floor, wood spice and a savory character. On the palate it has more New World flavors: blackberry, vanilla, baking spice, and bittersweet cocoa. It is complex, supple, and tasty.

On the nose and the palate the fruit is nicely ripe with black plum, blueberry, mixed cherry and blackberry. The palate has good intensity with plenty of lift, made more complex with notes of dried violets and a spicy finish. This medium-plus-bodied wine is complex and balanced; though it is fruit forward, it offers nice oak quality and blended spice.

This may remind you of a Cotes-du-Rhone in that it has wonderful, ripe Mediterranean fruit balanced by freshness and round tannins. However, there is a mineral character that also provides cut to the wine. It is medium plus in body with juicy acid and notes of dried herbs complementing the mixed berry fruit.

Aromas of red and black currants, smoke and black pepper are classic for this variety.  This is medium in weight with blackberries, plums, espresso and lingering wood smoke. The fine tannins, integrated acidity and forward fruit make this an accessible wine.

This Austrian red is fresh with red and black cherry and raspberry fruit. It is lightly smoky, earthy and even a touch funky. The wine is just over medium weight with moderate acidity and soft tannins. You'll find it a delicious example of Blaufrankisch that's beautifully balanced.

Made in the traditional french keeving method to achieve a wild-fermented and naturally semi dry cider pet-nat cider. Tasting notes of Guava, overripe mango, bergamot, candied orange peel, black sweet tea tannins. 

Distilled in Kagoshima, Japan by Hamada Shuzo from 84% imo (sweet potato) and 16% kome koji (rice koji). Daiyame is made from sweet potatoes that have been aged using a unique aging method to fully extract their aroma. It has a sweet aroma reminiscent of fresh lychee and rosewater. Enjoy Daiyame 25 neat, with seltzer on the rocks, or with hot water as an oyuwari.

Notes of clementine, grapefruit, peach and rosewater combine with white flowers on the nose. Despite being a little cloudy (it's unfiltered) the flavors are clean and precise - white tea, tangerine and orange blossom can be found on the palate. Medium body and dry with light tannins.
