You'll find aromas of cherry cola/Dr Pepper with a thread of singed fruit in the background. This leads into a dense, rich, but well-balanced palate with flavors of dark cherry skins, stovetop fruit with rosemary, as well as notes of tobacco and leather. This retains a happy medium between ripe fruit and savory flavors. Great wine for fall and winter!

This wine comes from estate grapes at Herdade do Esporao and is aged in tulip-shaped concrete tanks to retain freshness.
