Aromatics of macerated blackberry, black currant, black cherry and raspberry introduce this wine. This is very smoothly textured, ripe and spicy with dark berries, plum, black pepper, dark chocolate, integrated tannins and an appealing meatiness. It is fuller bodied and warming for the spring shoulder season.
This wine would be ideal with braised beef, barbeque, ribs, empanadas, steak with chimichurri sauce, or roasted root vegetables.
