A particular specialty of the Valle Isarco. Greenish to bright yellow in color. Peaches, apricots, and tones of tangerines on the nose. Very lively, juicy, and sleek on the palate, with a mineral-rich finish.

Aromas of peach and apricot lead to a medium-plus to full-bodied, generous white that gives tropical flavors of pineapple, orange and apricot. It is round in texture with moderate acidity and though dry, it expresses a beeswax/honey note.

Aromas of pear and apple continue through onto the palate, where they are joined by hints of macadamia, ginger joining and quince. This is medium-full in weight with integrated acidity and a longer finish of apricot and yellow plum.

From the producer: Delicate at first then tropically ripe, brimming with apricot, nectarine and a touch of pineapple. Lemon citrus and acacia blossom balance the sweetness effortlessly.

Honeyed and floral aromas bloom from this dry crisp mead. Lightly weighted but with good density holding it up, this mead has a very long finish, leaving chamomile, spring flowers, citrus fruit, and a piquant honey taste on the palate.

From the Producer: "This wine reflects the substance and diversity of southeast Seneca Lake. It fermented in both vats and old oak (228 liter Burgundy barrels and demi-muids) with indigenous yeasts for several months, as is typical of our wines. Combining aromas of mineral and fruit: mango, jasmine, flint, it delivers a balanced texture, straightforward while being both long and soft."

This is a wine which shows both density and sharp precision. The flavors range from lemon and lemon peel to flower blossoms, nectarine, white peach, quince and apricot. There is zingy tartness as well as round and chewy elements in this complex Riesling. Some lightly singed fruit peel, minerality and stone combines with lime as well. Quality farming and winemaking is evident.

Good intensity and vibrant with flinty, apple, golden pear, and herb notes along with a subtle creaminess. This is stony, precise, finely-textured and will drink beautifully for many years. It is a classic, yet elegant and pure example.

This wine is rich and dense without being heavy or overbearing. There are notes of lychee and tropical fruit, it's bright and clean, and the texture is rounded. The wine is dry with enough minerality to keep it lifted and balanced. Enjoy with highly seasoned food such as Thai, Indian or Moroccan dishes.

Light aromas of wet stone/talc, stone fruits and white flowers on the nose. The medium-bodied palate offer peach and nectarine, minerals, and a touch of bitterness to balance the ripe fruit.

Alluring aromas of light lemon, lemon blossom, stone, wildflowers, and honey. Refreshing on the palate, with rounded acidity, lemon crud, white peach, apricot and apple fruit. This exciting wine balances mountain freshness and cut with ripeness. It is medium bodied with a longer finish.

Subtle notes of flint and petrol lend way to a fuller-bodied, fruit-forward style of Riesling. This is round with good density, well-integrated acidity, and bright, juicy, fruit flavors of peach, apricot, pineapple, and mango. A great value!

Aromas of soft apple, bosc pear, flint and herbs. There's a touch of roundness in the texture, yet the wine stays juicy. Medium body, apple, pear, lemon zest, leesiness and a light creaminess. Tasty and food friendly! 

The aromas in this wine are elegant with sweet oak, butter, vanilla, apple, pear and a whiff of smoke. The palate gives flavors of Asian pear, nectarine, white apple, and grilled peach, along with vanilla and butter. Any oak is elegant and tremendously well integrated; this is bright and clean with lovely minerality. A sensational effort that is well balanced and still exudes California style.

This is medium plus to full bodied with loads of orchard fruits -- apricot, apple and ripe pear, along with hints of flowers, chalk and chamomile, ending with glazed apple notes. The texture is roundish with plenty of juicy acidity and a touch of salty minerality.

Heady floral aromas of orange blossom, Turkish delight, and lychee dominate the nose. Sweet-tart citrus and white floral notes fill the palate, along with hints of ginger, baked apricot, clove and wild honey. Touches of orange peel can be found on the long, succulent finish. This wine is dry, elegant and a beautiful example at its price point.

This lovely Gewurztraminer gives aromas of lychee, ginger skin, rosewater and honeysuckle following on to a bright and flavorful palate where lychee, jasmine, ginger, pear, and lime zest add complexity. It is medium plus in body, with good ripeness, integrated acidity and a round texture, finishing with citrusy notes.

From the Producer: Founded in 1982, Au Bon Climat (which means "a well-exposed vineyard") produces internationally-recognized Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Blanc wine from grapes grown in California's Santa Barbara County.

Aromas of mulling spices and Moroccan souk spices combine with dark berries, tar and smoke to entice you to this Pinot Noir. It is between medium and full bodied with considerable concentration, yet it is not heavy. Macerated red and black cherries join pressed rose, mulling spices, bittersweet cacao nibs and a note of tar. The tannins are velvety and acid is integrated. With air, spiced black currants and smoke evolve on the long finish.

Aromas of fresh and smoky blackberries and plums. On the palate, this is medium weight or slightly less in body, with flavors of black currants, blackberry seeds, cherries, earth and smoke. The grape Pinotage is a cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsault. Aromas include blackberry, black currant and touches of espresso and smoke. This medium-weight wine has juicy blackberry and blueberry notes supported by distinctive and well-integrated liquid smoke flavors. It is nicely balanced with medium acidity and sleek tannins, with mocha lingering on the finish. 

Aromas are complex, with smoke, raspberry compote, red currant candy, chocolate, and spice. The palate offers a variety of red berry fruit, lightly cooked so it releases juice. Black cherry and cassis are also present, along with toast, baking spice, and mineral notes. The wine is medium to full bodied with moderate acid and youthful tannins that will meld with age.

Dark cherry, cola, and spice aromas entice on the nose. The palate is warming with more dark fruits, chocolate-covered raisins and touches of campfire and pepper. Velvety tannins support the spicy finish of this fuller-bodied wine.

Aromas of leather and ripe fruits such as fig and prune introduce this wine. It is medium-plus in body with morello cherry and bitter cocoa flavors. The texture is quite supple with rounded tannins and moderate acidity.  Enjoy it with short ribs, hearty stews, charcuterie, or with sundried tomato pesto, lentils or black bean burritos.

Aromas of stewed and fresh blackberries, red and purple flowers, vanilla, black pepper and minerality greet you on the nose. Aromas are of red cherry, black cherry, plum, prune, rosemary and cinnamon. The finish in this delicious "baby Barolo" is long and structured.

The aromas are dark and rich with black cherry, concentrated cassis and stewed black fruit with a mineral back bone and a hint of smoke. Aromas of cured meat, tar, and smoky dark fruit lead to flavors of charred, tar, ash, and darker fruits like black cherries and black currants. This wine has a lovely texture for Nebbiolo, with soft tannins and medium acidity providing structure.

This 100% Syrah shows classic elements of black cherry, red plum, and garrigue on the nose. It is terroir-driven with sandalwood, licorice, light smoke, garrigue and amaro-esque medicinal herbs. The palate is medium weight with just-right acidity, rendering it a pleasant and easy drinking wine with nice complexity. Try with braises of root vegetables or with beans or lentils, chicken, lamb and beef dishes, or sautéed mushrooms. Add rosemary and thyme to pick up the wine’s herbal profile.

Les Hérétiques is a rustic wine, speaking strongly of its terroir. The nose offers spice, cedar, and black cherry fruit, and touches of iron/earth. The tannins are quite present but well-integrated with more black cherries, spice and a lingering meaty quality.

This is classic Bordeaux with equal parts berry fruit mixing with savory, earth elements. It is medium weight wine, and the fruit is just ripe, with plenty of acidity giving the wine lift and rendering it an excellent food partner. You'll find plum, mixed cherry and tart blackberry along with notes of horse stable (suede and saddle, forest, soil). These elements are nicely intertwined on a lithe frame. You can enjoy with midweight foods such as poultry, pizza, meatloaf or mushrooms.

This medium bodied Bordeaux has lovely minerality combined with plum fruit and black raspberry notes. The texture is finely tannined with fresh acidity lifting the flavors. There's good purity here, unadulterated by wood notes. This makes a great food partner for medium weight foods -- a red that can be enjoyed with white meats such as chicken and pork.

This co-fermented Chateauneuf is complex and appealing with scents reminiscent of potpourri, spiced plum, cassis and pressed flowers. There is a seduction about the aromas, like fine chocolate and wild animal; think truffle. It offers an opulent palate that is lovely, with blueberry, black currant, cooked plums, spice box, black tea, violets and forest floor. There are also hints of minerality and light toast joining with the ripe fruit. This full-bodied, flavorful red still offers "relief" and a sense of freshness which creates balance in the wine. It is texturally attractive and structurally balanced with medium acidity, well managed tannins and a long finish. 

Don't let this light red fool you! It's flavorful and satisfying with attractive red cherry, mineral and underbrush notes. The wine is fresh and exhileratingly crisp. Enjoy with light to medium weight foods or if you want to cut through the fat on a richer meal like barbeque or steak.

The nose gives strawberry, cranberry and red cherry cordial with some earthy soil component. The flavor is of summer strawberries, fresh bright raspberries with balanced acidity and body.

This wine begins with light earth and raspberry-cherry notes mixing with garrigue. On the palate, it is midweight with fine tannins and chalky acidity. The fruit is reddish--dried strawberry, pomegranate, red raspberry and red cherry, joining with lightly savory forest notes. This is a good options for lovers of Pinot Noir, even though the grapes are different. There's a fineness and delicacy to it.

Aromas of raspberry, wild herbs, dried flowers, and a hint of smoke emerge from this wine. It is medium weight and boasts flavors of plum, raspberry, strawberries, and dried herbs. The soft tannins, minerality, and juicy acidity make it so quaffable. You can pair it with Mediterranean flavors such as tomato-based dishes, bruschetta with herbed olives, lamb, or pizza. Or enjoy it with sausages, burgers (including veggie) or roasted vegetables.

Bright red and black fruits with mineral and toasty-oak elements. The palate is medium plus with juicy acid and dusty tannins. The flavors include dried strawberry, black cherry, plum with touches of well-integrated vanilla and iron-like minerals. The wine is lush without being heavy offering finesse and elegance.

On the nose, this wine gives aromas of dark fruits and toasty oak. It is medium plus in body, ripe and concentrated, yet stays refined and fresh. Fruit of macerated black currants and spiced berries are joined by flavors of mocha, chocolate, toast, mulling spices, cinnamon and black pepper. It has round tannins and integrated acidity.

Medium-strength aromas of plum, red fruit, bramble, and toasted barrel. The palate is red-fruited-ripe cherry, cranberry, red plum, and raspberry. Medium acidity and medium-plus tannins provide structure to this fresh, tart, and lively wine. The finish offers tart fruit and smoke and barrel notes. A solid wine despite the difficult vintage.

A Finger Lakes Lemberger that smells of plush smoke, dense black cherry, chocolate, candied red fruits, and cola. The palate is a juicy medium weight with nice concentration, medium tannins, and flavors of smoke, black raspberry, black cherry, and black currant.

This medium-bodied red blend is lightly earthy with mixed cherries, plums, rose, black pepper, light smoke and minerality. It has moderate tannins and fresh acidity.

Our notes: Aromas are of plum, black cherry, earth and truffle. This is medium weight with black cherry, raspberry and plum fruit that's ripe, not tart. It is fresh with mostly pure fruit and a touch of cooked as well. There are hints of orange, cinnamon and chalk. Tannins are nicely rounded. From the producer: The beautiful deep ruby-violet colors of the Pinot Noir wine give way to aromas of very ripe red fruits (cherry, blackberry and raspberry). The nose is intense and well integrated, with aromas of cooked red fruits and roasted coffee beans. There are also hints of graphite and cinnamon. Very round and smooth on the attack, with tight tannins on the palate. In the mouth come flavors of smoke and prune. This wine is ready to drink, but could also be kept for some years.

Brilliant ruby color with powerful aromas of raspberry, tart cherry and black pepper. Balanced with just a touch of fine-grained tannin. A polished example of the Southern Rhone’s varied terroir.

This fabulous Cabernet Franc exhibits everything we love about the variety: beautiful dark fruits, savory earth elements and fine, supple tannins. There's a light smokiness intertwined with mineral/iron notes amid plenty of plum, black cherry, blackberry fruit and juicy acidity to lift everything. The finish is persistent and complex.

Deep, rich color and a classic Cabernet Franc nose of cherry, spice, earth, and black pepper. Fresh black berry, blueberry, black cherry fruits with black pepper, potting soil, and light smoke are the dominant flavors. Medium to medium plus in body, tannin, and acidity.

This elegantly perfumed Pinot Noir is savory with nice density of flavor and color with a layers of flavors. One will find dry earth, violets, spiced plums, mulling spices and ripe cranberry. The texture is medium in weight with fine tannins and a fresh finish.

In the glass the wine offers an intense dark cherry-red colour. The nose gives off small red berries aromas, with pleasant spicy hints. In the mouth, the wine is lively, with hints of spice and ripe fruit. It has an elegant structure and a long, elegant finish.

A very traditional Burgundy with an open body and loads of fruit to boot. The palette follows the nose with red and black cherries, tinges of earth, finishing with round tannins and the complexity that comes with age.

Aromas of warm earth, black currant, and dark cherries invite you in to this Rhone classic. Fuller-bodied with refreshing acidity to balance on the palate. More ripe dark fruit notes include cooked berries and some savory warm earth flavors with touches of dark chocolate and smoke.

This is an old-school style of Rioja, offering savory blackberry and other dark fruits, chocolate, smoke and violets on the nose. Soft tannins, fine acidity, and medium-plus body support blueberries and black currants. The wine was made using carbonic maceration, so there’s the tiniest hint of effervescence in the mouth.

Aromas are big, smoky, and spicy with blackberry, dark chocolate, and a hint of licorice. The palate has a nice lift and acidity, with flavors that match the aromas, including the pepper and blackberry. Medium plus in body with a persistent finish. The wine spends a year in American and French oak, with a further four months in bottle.

Aromas of blue and black fruit, rich and ripe. The palate follows with rounded texture, soft tannins, light baking spice, black berries and cherries, this pinot is succulent and well balanced.

Smokey cherries, slight metallic notes, and rich red fruit on the nose. This medium plus Pinot Noir tastes of red cherry, strawberry coulis, pomegranate, light smoke, and herbs with moderate tannins and acid. Juicy and well structured.

Rustic aromas of warm earth, barn, worn leather, and herbs complement ripe red fruits (cranberry, red currant and cooked strawberry) on the nose. More red fruit on the palate is supported by fresh acid and integrated tannins providing a pleasing mouthfeel. Touches of spice and earthy minerals round out the finish.

Classic Pinot Noir characteristics are present in this midweight red. Red and black cherry, plum, earth, truffle and tea combine on the palate to give just-right balance of fruit and umami flavors. Since the wine is in screw cap, it will continue to evolve after being open for 30 minutes, becoming a little richer and more concentrated. The acidity and tannins are well-wrapped into this wine, making it a pleasure to drink alone or with many foods.

Dark fruit aromas arise from this appealing Piedmont red, boysenberry, black currants, blueberry, and some floral notes. Medium weigh in body, loaded with red and purple fruits, plums, blueberries, rose pedals, fine tannins, and crisp acidity.

This gives aromas of tobacco and blueberry. It is medium weight and quite dark in color for such a rainy vintage (2021). There are flavors of black currants, smoke, toast, violets and lavender. This has a bit of rusticity with tannins that are fine to medium, just lightly grainy in texture.

Take a quick step back in time with our Fox Trot Red. This is a fruity red wine blend of Cabernet Franc and Concord grapes. The wine has residual sweetness, making it the right choice for all of you sweet red wine lovers. At the same time, it shows the fun, grapey side of Concord and the more serious, structured side of Cabernet Franc.

This is a savory wine with structure and black fruit. There are tar-like earth aromas and floral notes with classic red cherry, raspberry and plum. The palate is not tart but has good cool-climate acidity; it is medium weight with medium-plus tannins. There is some minerality on the palate and is a classic example of cool climate yet ripe Vespolina.

Aromas include some smoke, black cap raspberries, and black plum supported by touches of violets and black pepper. The medium-bodied palate boasts plum and blueberry flavors supported by herbs and pepper as well as soft, dusty tannins and old world charm.

This wine is composed of equal parts sweet, ripe berries and stony minerality. There is a light earthiness, integrated tannins, refreshing acidity and very good density. It's perfectly balanced! Fruit of blueberries, blackberries, plums and black raspberries mix with some forest bramble. This is indicative of the Northern Rhone (winery in Cornas), but it's composed of Gamay.

Dense garnet in color. Concentrated aromas of black currant, fleshy plum, warm spices, cocoa, and grilled meats. Despite its age, there's still some baby fat here. The wine is spicy, with black raspberry, fruit compote, and savory notes. Medium plus in body and length with integrated tannins.

Aromas of cocoa dusted cherries, raspberries, and milk chocolate. The palate is soft without any green pepper. Medium weight, supple, and integrated with more red fruit and cocoa, finishing with vanilla and baking spices.

Complex old world aromas dominate the nose which touches of rose, sandalwood, leather and smoke all infused with small red fruits like pomegranate narils and red cherry or cherry compote. The palate is lovely with silky tannin structure with the complexity being more subtle than the nose suggested. There is more red cherry but not as ripe and presenting some savory notes of dusty earth and minerality.  This is worth the price and has invigorating fruit with thorough tannins throughout.

Fresh and juicy berry aromas, blackberries and leather on the nose. The medium weight palate follows with blackberries, blackberry seed, leather, earthy medium tannins, and juicy acidity.

Rich yet medium-bodied, offering an exciting bouquet of berry, oak, earth and spice notes, with bold streaks of blueberry, raspberry, mocha and floral flavors. It finishes with an aftertaste of anise and cherries.

Medium aromas high toned raspberry and strawberry in addition to some white and black cracked peppercorns. The palate is clean and medium bodied with red cherry, pomegranate juice, plum, and cranberry. The secondary notes exist as touches of vanilla, light earth and some higher acid in comparison to the previous vintage with medium tannin structure.

Wild red and black berries combine with light floral and bramble aromas of this rustic red. The body is medium-plus with black cherry pie notes, black olive, and subtle earthy character. Grippy tannins make this a great food companion.

There are aromas of plums, red cherries, and black cherries from this Mendocino Pinot Noir. The body is fruitier with berries, raspberries, cherries, and plums, with touches of minerality, medium acid and tannins.. No oak or savory flavors are present in this medium bodied Pinot.

From the producer: The deep ruby color leads to aromas of roasted black cherry and pomegranate laced with juniper. Toasted peppercorn, a signature of Navarra Garnacha, comes through after a minutes in the glass, followed by dried thyme and cherry cola. The palate is fresh, filled with red fruit, but shows it’s serious side with an earthy mid-palate and noticeable grip on the finish. Luzador Los Andreses is fun and serious at the same time – ideally paired with fully flavored foods from the grill.

Attractive red jam fruits are still dry in this Zinfandel-based wine which has nice purity and finesse, as well as velvety tannins. It has medium acidity or even more, giving it good balance. There's plenty of flavor here, including a little brambly note.

This is classic Langhe Nebbiolo with notes of dried rose, red cherry and raspberry, forest floor. The structure is typical for the grape -- young, slightly grippy tannins and crisp acidity will soften and integrate with time in this medium-bodied red. Ripe and tart berry notes combine to lift the wine, making it a good food partner.

This attractively packaged wine offers aromas of coffee, plums, and red cherries. The wine is well-balanced in the mouth, with red plum and cherry, fresh black currant and jam, and hints of black pepper and herbs. Medium in body and acidity, with fine tannins and a longer finish.

The nose of red cherry, truffle, rose and light earth is very enticing. The wine is medium weight with both black and red cherries intertwined with earth, steeped strawberries, wild raspberries and a touch of darjeeling tea. This has beautiful texture and though it is very flavorful, it remains elegant.

Medium aromatics offering fresh and dried herbs, cigar box, dates and dried cherries. The palate is medium bodied with very rounded but quite there tannins. Fruits are purple to black --cherries, plums, and black currant skin with light toast, earth and tobacco.

Aromas of mulberry, berry compote and savory raspberries are appealing. It is medium to full-bodied with cherries and plums, spice, kirsch, thyme and chocolate notes adding complexity. This wine is smooth and quaffable with a long, refreshing finish.

This wine begins with dark, steeped berries encircling fireplace and pine forest aromas. in the mouth, it is creamy and full-flavored, exhibiting wild black currant and dark chocolate flavors mixed with sweet tobacco and black cherry candy. The wine envelops your whole mouth and glides down the throat, leaving a hint of smoke and mocha. First rate and drinking beautifully now, but will age through 2028.

Deeper dark fruit notes like blackberry and and blackcap with earth, and tobacco. The palate has very fine tannin structure on a medium frame with medium acidity and similar fruit on the palate.

The nose offers both fruit and savory notes. Fruits include cassis, black cherry, ripe blackberry, and plum skin. Light touches of smoke and earth make up the savory components. In the mouth, this wine is pleasantly herbal; fruits echo the aromas, adding a touch of raisin. Deep and brooding with black fruit, tobacco and dried herb notes on the nose. The palate continues with these--black currants and bittersweet chocolate stand out and are structured with juicy acidity and open-knit tannins. This wine is fleshy and silky, especially given some air. It's just right on every note, mixing savory with ripe. The more you think about it, the more you realize what a pleasure it is to drink this wine.

This appassimento wine uses dried grapes to concentrate the flavors. It is soft and supple in texture with velvety tannins on a medium frame. Stewed black and red fruits are accompanied by light tobacco and spice and a touch of smoke. Notes of blackberry, black cherries, and dates follow through to spices and dried herbs on the finish.

Attractive aromas of raspberry, red cherry, warm earth, potpourri and pressed rose are apparent on the nose. This is medium in body with juicy purple fruits such as blueberries and plums with some dehydrated floral, cedar, bay leaf and violet notes. There is a minerality as well. The wine is well structured with moderate tannins and fresh acidity, and becomes more aromatic with exposure to air. This is aged in 2/3 amphora and 1/3 used oak.

The nose offers savory Old World aromas, plus dried rose, sour cherry, and a mix of black and red raspberry. In the mouth, the fruit is tasty, juicy, and tart, joined by mineral, wood, and rosewater notes, all supported by fine supple tannins.

Lovely aromas include raspberry, cassis, and black caps with touches of violets, leather and spiced plum. The mid-weight palate features juicy red and black berries and fruit leather supported by light sandalwood and floral-violet notes. Additional flavors of white pepper and smoke are framed around the lingering black cherry notes of this wine. Tannins remain smooth and acidity fresh. An excellent value wine!

This lighter-bodied wine begins with a classic Pinot Noir nose—rose, cherry, red currant plum, raspberry and dusty earth—leading to a juicy palate with fresh acidity. Raspberries and their seeds join touches of herb, a lightly fleshy texture, and a savory finish. Approachable for light to medium weight foods and even spicy dishes.

This ripe and fruit forward wine is juicy with black pepper, dark plums, chocolate-covered cherries and rose peppercorns. This palate is rich and round with cherry pie notes and some good oak influence, especially offering baking spices and mocha.

From the producer: Blackberry, bacon, graphite, blueberry, rose. With the 2021 vintage, I have reverted to the intrinsic character of my first Côtes du Rhône from 1997 to 2000. This intense, energetic Syrah with its crimson hue is fresh with ‘espressivo cantabile’ aromas of red berry fruits and a rounded palate.

A medium bouquet of red currants and cherries with cooked or concentrated raspberries and earth. The palate is sleek and supple with cherry, soil and plum. This wine is super fresh and yet deep with very fine and complex tannins and structure.

This wine is complex with tertiary notes that layer with wood spice, touches of earth, dried mushrooms, plums and black cherries. The palate echoes the aromas with savory flavors that support its structure making it a lovely wine for just sipping or pairing with food. This wine has medium acidity on its medium frame and it plush without being rich. 

One of the leading domaines in Bandol, Domaine Tempier is, without a doubt, the most visible producer from the appellation in the U.S. marketplace today. I think this is well-deserved (and a good thing for Bandol), as the wines are at the top of the hierarchy in terms of quality. The estate has been in the Peyraud family for generations and has a long, storied history that’s beautifully documented in Kermit Lynch’s newsletters and book, Adventures on the Wine Route (an absolute must read for any wine lover). Slightly floral aromas mix with dark cherry, chocolate cake, oak, and cedar on the nose. The extra time in the barrel has softened this lovely Chianti Classico. The palette is pleasingly dense with Old World flavors, nicely ripe and fruity with soft but present tannins and juicy acidity.

This wine is from phylloxera-free vineyards with unirrigated grapes, giving it a pronounced personality. Fresh red and cooked cherries, spiced plums, and light balsamic notes characterize the aromas. The palate is medium to medium plus in body with macerated cherries and raspberries, plum molasses, and some vanilla and cinnamon. This wine has a level of minerality that reflecting its volcanic soil but is balanced with round tannins and a long finish.

This wine is fragrant as soon as the cork leaves the bottle! The aromas are beautifully integrated, with plum, bramble, small dark fruits, and dried herbs including oregano and sage. Tannins have softened with some age and are doing just what they should be, allowing the flavor elements to show off. Dark berries, plums, and herbal elements dance. Medium bodied with a longer finish.

This is quite aromatic, offering sweet wood, dark fruit--blackberry, blueberry, spiced cherry, plum--and cedar, all nicely integrated, with each sniff providing something more and different. The palate is equally integrated and complex. The fine tannins and moderate acidity are lovely, supporting and melding with the fruit. The fruit itself is dark berries, patient and thorough, subtle and a real presence. This is a wine one wants always on the wine rack to be enjoyed again and again. Medium bodied with a longer finish.

Wine Spectator, 94 Points: A bright yet firmly structured Chianti Classico, with iron, leather, almond and floral accents surrounding a core of cherry fruit. Sleek and intense, with a lingering finish echoing cherry, red berry and mineral notes. Best from 2024 through 2040. 4,500 cases imported.

Aromas of black cherry, earth and faint smoke lead to a medium weight Cabernet Franc with black berry and black cherry fruit that is fresh, pure and slightly candied, with a touch of minerality. This has moderate acidity and a very fine texture.

Smoky, silky elegance with scents of dark berries, flowers, herbs, pepper and anise. Exotic and textured, this is a deep, complex and rich wine with wild fruit (black and red raspberries and plums) along with black pepper and a long finish with great tannins.

Medium aromatic with notes of red raspberry, black cherry, pepper and tobacco. The palate is medium-weight with red raspberry, tart black currants, rosemary and lightly savory notes. This is very quaffable and not as big as some of its Spanish counterparts; consider giving it a light chill.

Powerful peach, white raspberry and wild strawberry aromas that are clean with talc and earthy elements. The texture is slightly creamy, with softer acid and supported by salty minerality, bright flavors driven with a long finish.

The fruit is ripe and red fruited--raspberry, cherry, pomegranate, strawberry, cranberry--all the reds!  It is dry and minerally, yet generous with its fruit. Such balance means that your bottle will quickly disappear!

What an aromatic cider with golden apple, pear, and plum. The palate is soft and round with great texture and flavors that echo the aromas. This cider is delicious!

Baked apples, hay/meadow and light floral aromas begin this enticing orange wine. clove studded orange and touches of spice add complexity to this medium-weight wine with clean fresh finish. 

This very dry wine shows some structure and unique flavors such as parmesan cheese rind, chamomile, orange zest and roasted nuts. The palate has some deeper fruit like peach, cantaloup, smoke and burnt orange. The finish is creamy and almost leesy with a nutty finish.
