Citrus, apple and gooseberry aromas with hints of passion fruit are often found in this lively and bright wine.

This is a wine which shows both density and sharp precision. The flavors range from lemon and lemon peel to flower blossoms, nectarine, white peach, quince and apricot. There is zingy tartness as well as round and chewy elements in this complex Riesling. Some lightly singed fruit peel, minerality and stone combines with lime as well. Quality farming and winemaking is evident.

This southern Italian white is fresh and clean on the nose with hints of tropical fruits and melon. The palate is just over medium weight with peach, melon and nectarine notes, nicely integrated acidity and a touch of white freesia flowers. The wine is round, yet balanced by fresh salinity and lingering lemongrass flavors.

 2023 is an exceptional, high-quality, memorable vintage for Napa; winemakers describe the wines as having freshness, purity, and elegance overall. On the nose, aromas of stone fruit and lychee with a delicate honeysuckle fragrance. The palate is refined and elegant, with a round mouthfeel that is complemented by a pop of brightness. Flavors of peach, apricot, and citrus are layered with hints of tropical fruit, providing a delightful complexity that lingers on the finish.

Aromas of lemon and lime, along with some jasmine and vanilla introduce this wine. It is medium plus in body and features crisp acidity balanced by a surprising creaminess. Flavors of preserved lemon, apricot and a slightly salty minerality are enjoyable and classic. Picpoul de Pinet is an ideal wine for seafood, especially shellfish.

This estate-grown Cayuga Lake Pinot Gris begins with aromas of stone fruits, both fresh and baked.  The palate is medium to full in weight, creamy and rich with ripe orchard fruits like pear, apple and apricot. The wine is just barely dry with bright acidity to balance it.

This is a delightful Burgundian Chardonnay. The nose gives subtle aromas of apples and apple skins, white flowers, old wood, and delicate orchard fruit. This unoaked Chardonnay is medium weight and gives lovely orchard fruit aromas and flavors from a warm vintage. It has golden apple and bosc pear notes with a hint of citrus and pineapple. The texture has just the right amount of creaminess and concentration, giving a soft, silky mouthfeel. It deftly balances concentration with fresh acidity, making it perfect for drinking on its own or versatile with food.

A classic gruner that tastes like nectarine, pear and salt with medium texture, a touch of prickle, some lees and a mineral driven finish. This is a nice value that is fresh and crisp.

Freshly grated lime zest greet the taster with pear, apple and wet stone minerality. The magic occurs on the palate with almost off-dry flavors of ripe peach, apricot, sundew melon, marzipan and yellow plum. The acidity is medium plus with a medium bodied frame that tastes riper than the aromas suggest.

This liter bottle presents intense notes of black currant, cooked blackberry, and a touch of cigar smoke. Medium-weight with fine tannins, integrated acid and ripe dark cherry, it can be enjoyed with a slight chill.

Deep, rich color and a classic Cabernet Franc nose of cherry, spice, earth, and black pepper. Fresh black berry, blueberry, black cherry fruits with black pepper, potting soil, and light smoke are the dominant flavors. Medium to medium plus in body, tannin, and acidity.

A fragrant wine with lavender, blackberry, raspberry, warm earth, and touch of wild herbs. The flavors have classic Rhone character-- fleshy and darkly fruited with grippy structured tannins that give a root like quality. Smooth and medium-bodied, the wine has moderate acidity that complements rather than obscures the abundant cherry and black currant fruit.

The wine shows a deep purple color and features aromatics of mixed crushed red and black fruits, sweet spice, and cedar. In the mouth, it is fuller-bodied with fantastic dark fruits, excellent mid-palate depth and ripe tannins.

Fruit for this wine come from young vines and you can tell it is ripe red cherry, spiced plum, truffle mushroom, and slightly earthy. The palate delivers medium plus acidity making this wine refreshing to drink, with black pepper, black cherry, black tea like tannins and satisfying with it's medium structure.

Black cherry, blueberry, blackberry and plum with layers of toast, chocolate, and baking spice notes can be found on the nose. The aromas translate into similar flavors with additional hints of cocoa,savory soil and wood and spice. The palate is medium bodied with lifting acidity and soft, but present, tannins. 

Spicy, fruity aromas of red cherry and currant with a bit of darker fruit. While fleshy and red-fruited, the palate offers the acidity and bitterness typical of many Italian reds as well as some pepper and figs.

This wine has great appeal, attractive berry notes, fresh herbs/earth, pepper, and concentrated berries. The palate has some bramble and forest floor with cedar and red cherry. Rounded tannins provide structure to the medium-bodied, food friendly quaff.

Red strawberries, raspberries and blackcaps are attractive on the nose. Secondary aromas of iron, earth, savory black tea and minerality also greet you. On the palate, this wine is medium weight with moderate tannins and classic cherry fruitiness. It clearly comes from a cooler climate and has light spices on a smooth and elegant frame.

Aromas of smoke and spice, black olive and black cherry. The palate has a lovely texture deriving from fine tannins. Grapes, blackberries, and light spice as well as a hint of tapenade, make up the flavors.

This lighter-bodied wine begins with a classic Pinot Noir nose—rose, cherry, red currant plum, raspberry and dusty earth—leading to a juicy palate with fresh acidity. Raspberries and their seeds join touches of herb, a lightly fleshy texture, and a savory finish. Approachable for light to medium weight foods and even spicy dishes.

From the producer: Blackberry, bacon, graphite, blueberry, rose. With the 2021 vintage, I have reverted to the intrinsic character of my first Côtes du Rhône from 1997 to 2000. This intense, energetic Syrah with its crimson hue is fresh with ‘espressivo cantabile’ aromas of red berry fruits and a rounded palate.

Aromas reminiscent of the Old World with a fresh spin; think tart red fruit, minerality, forest floor, wood spice and a savory character. On the palate it has more New World flavors: blackberry, vanilla, baking spice, and bittersweet cocoa. It is complex, supple, and tasty.

This deeply colored wine offers powerful aromas of mulberry, mocha, sweet wood, and damson plum. In the mouth, it is juicy with moderate plus acidity. The aromas are echoed in the flavors—plum, dark chocolate, smoke, mulberry, and sweet wood. Tannins are fine-grained and nearly invisible, but they provide just enough structure. You'll find nectarine, strawberry candy and red pear flavors in this Vinho Verde rosé. It has a refreshing prickle with a whiff of powdered sugar/talc running through it (but don't worry, it's totally dry!)

This dry rosé is perfectly balanced, soft, and thirst quenching. Fresh red berries, especially strawberry, a touch of floral character and peach are well-balanced by fresh acid and minerality on the palate. The wine is dry with strawberries lingering on the finish.

This starts with classic Riesling aromas, including pear, apricot and light minerality. The palate is rich, creamy and well-balanced. Flavors of green apple, pear, and light florality come together on the off dry palate, leading to a long finish.

This sparkler offers nectarine, apricot and lemon curd notes that are nicely creamy and ripe. It is medium in weight, with refreshing lemon/lime flavors lingering on the long finish.

This has a very nice, frothy mousse. It's more of a crisp, clean, minerally style, not very fruity, but not austere either. Notes of lemon, stone and biscuit can be found in this finely-textured, persistent Champagne.
