100% Central Coast Chardonnay that's seen 80% of it in stainless steel, with the remaining 20% being barrel fermented. After fermentation there's 10 months of rest in oak barrels. What you have here in the bottle is a medium to full bodied Chardonnay with balanced flavors of vanilla, orange blossom, pear and apple. Toasty oak adds to the long, silky finish.

This Loire white features green tropical fruit such as kiwi, starfruit and gooseberry, with a savory aspect similar to tomato leaf. This is medium bodied with a soft texture; though lifted, it remains roundish with good concentration. From the producer: Remarkably aromatic with pleasant flower and fruit fragrances recalling the flower of the vine and the fruit of the Sauvignon. On the palate it reveals a freshness and vivacity characteristic of grapes harvested at good maturity. Citrus, apple and gooseberry aromas with hints of passion fruit are often found in this lively and bright wine.

Bob Lynde is a native of Portland Oregon who fell in love with South Africa and its wines while the country still faced an international economic boycott. When the boycott was lifted in the early ‘90s, he was ready, founding Cape Classics, one of the first companies to import South African wines to the US. He began a collaborative project with local growers, the “Bob’s African” line of wines—solid sippers offering great value—and 10% of the proceeds went to local NGOs in the communities where the wines were produced. He sold the import company in 2005 to focus on developing the Fat Barrel Brand, which includes both South African and Oregon wines, and continues the Bob’s wines as well. The Fat Barrel line of wines uses fruit grown by “selected” growers that Fat Barrel has worked with for more than 10 years.

You’ll find this unoaked Chardonnay to be fresh and clean with bright aromas of golden apple, pear and lemon. The medium-bodied palate is equally refreshing with bright acidity balancing stone fruits. Lovely on its own or paired with hors d’oeuvres, seasonal vegetables, risotto, pasta or seafood salads, light fish dishes, poultry, or pesto pizza.

The palate carries both Asian and Bosc pear with grapefruit, orange zest and juicy lemon flavors. A very attractive vinho verde that presents aromas of pear, yellow peach, white flowers, and a touch of floral perfume. The carbonation is delightful against the backdrop of more white flowers, peach nectar, sweet citrus, and a juicy acidity to finish. This is a nice off-dry to dry vinho verde that is just a joy to sip on.

Clean aromas of blackberry and cassis are joined by Shiraz spice on the nose. Flavors are fruity and somewhat soft on the entry. This is more red fruited than you might expect, with leather, spice and light toast combining with perfectly ripe fruit.

A parade of fresh red fruit dominates the aromas, supported by red licorice and a light mix of herbs. This attractively packaged wine offers aromas of coffee, plums, and red cherries. The wine is well-balanced in the mouth, with red plum and cherry, fresh black currant and jam, and hints of black pepper and herbs. Medium in body and acidity, with fine tannins and a longer finish.

A medium bouquet of red currants and cherries with cooked or concentrated raspberries and earth. The palate is sleek and supple with cherry, soil and plum. This wine is super fresh and yet deep with very fine and complex tannins and structure.

Aromas of cooked black berries, black olives, rosemary, yeast and rye bread jump out of the glass. This wine is medium-plus in body with ripe, but not heavy, fruits of black currants and black cherries mixed with rosemary and thyme. It is juicy and fresh with a light oak influence.

The wine shows a deep purple color and features aromatics of mixed crushed red and black fruits, sweet spice, and cedar. In the mouth, it is fuller-bodied with fantastic dark fruits, excellent mid-palate depth and ripe tannins.

From the producer: Blackberry, bacon, graphite, blueberry, rose. With the 2021 vintage, I have reverted to the intrinsic character of my first Côtes du Rhône from 1997 to 2000. This intense, energetic Syrah with its crimson hue is fresh with ‘espressivo cantabile’ aromas of red berry fruits and a rounded palate.

Notes of stewed dark berries and graphite unfold from the glass. Round tannins balance nicely with medium acidity while rich, ripe dark berries mingle seamlessly on the palate with coffee and dark chocolate flavors. Hints of graphite and pencil lead linger through the finish and add depth to the wine.

A fragrant wine with lavender, blackberry, raspberry, warm earth, and touch of wild herbs. The flavors have classic Rhone character-- fleshy and darkly fruited with grippy structured tannins that give a root like quality. There are some mineral notes and black olives with red raspberry and smoke on the long finish.

Quite a perfumed pinot noir with cranberry, blood orange, cherry cordial, dusty earth and some herbs. The oak use is judicious making a drinkable wine with strawberries, plums and red currants that meet green peppercorns and sandalwood. This is more concentrated and continues to get deeper and darker as it breathes.

The palate is slightly warming with tree bark, plum, dark chocolate and dried herbs. As a package this is a savory and earthy wine with dark fruit and good typicity.

A complex Garnacha with aromas of plum, black cherry, blackberry, dark chocolate truffle and cracked black pepper. Aromas are of white flowers, pear, and golden apple.  This Prosecco combines a round and velvety texture with playful acidity that keeps singing throughout the palate.  Flavors of pear, white peach, apricot, and red apple are well balanced and appealing sip after sip.Medium body or more with medium bubbles and just-right fruitiness.

Enticing aromas include apple skin, grapefruit, and brioche. The palate is soft and creamy with a nice fine bead; flavors include apple, pear, citrus and touches of vanilla on the clean finish.
