This does not use carbonic maceration or added sulfur, yet it remains fragrant, clean, and juicy. Aromatically there are red raspberries, blackcaps, cherries, red currants and cassis. The palate is nicely structured with integrated tannins giving a nice mouthfeel. The wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity and red cherry skin and pit with minerality. It is clean, juicy and full of fraise du bois.
Juicy red and purle fruit that is fragrant, think of cassis, red currants, wild blackcaps and warm raisins in the sun. The flavors showcase more red spring fruit like wild strawberry and fraise du bois but has minerality and integrated tannins with a stiff upper lip. This is clean, fresh, and charming.
