This wine opens with beautiful plum, elderberry and ripe cherry aromas. They continue on the medium-bodied palate along with some black currant fruit, cherry skin, violets and integrated black pepper and smoke. It is smooth with rounded tannins and soft acidity. This wine doesn’t see any oak; it is fermented and aged in stainless steel.
