From the producer: "The finest qualities of the estate are expressed in our Reserve Dry Riesling, an exclusive wine spotlighting unique characteristics from all three of our vineyard sites. Small selections of grapes are meticulously chosen from specifically identified lots, which are fermented separately and then blended to create the exquisite balance of juiciness, freshness, and minerality displayed in this specialty bottling. A brilliant, tangy nose heralds a burst of stone fruit and citrus zest on the palate. Fruit and minerality play into a lingering finish that continues to make the mouth water long after the wine is gone."

This Late Harvest Riesling is crafted in the traditional German Spätlese style, with natural sweetness balanced by lively acidity. The outcome is a wine with an elegant yet luscious nose, followed by a generous palate of crisp ripe stone fruit and floral notes, lingering into a long, naturally sweet finish. 4.3% residual sugar.

A beautifully mineral-driven Sauvignon Blanc with notes of pear, crisp apple and grapefruit. This is a nice alternative to Sancerre, with high acidity, concentrated citrus and classic Loire Valley stoney minerality.

The aromas begin soft and subtle, but then opens up with pure white flowers and citrus fruits, especially pink grapefruit. The palate is concentrated with citrus, poached pear and gooseberry and has profound notes of minerality and brisk acidity with touches of salt. This wine is sharp, precise and racy--a great alternative to Chablis.

Aromas of lemon, golden pear, flinty minerality, with a tiny touch of matchstick lead to a palate medium-plus in body. Flavors are round and generous--ripe apple and pear, beeswax, briny minerality, and tangy lemon notes, with balanced acidity and a long finish.

The wine presents aromas of peach, citrus, apricot pit, petrol and wet stone. On the palate, honeyed pear, peach and citrus combine with citrus and wet slate for a dry, minerally finish.

From the producer: Pale yellow colour. The nose shows the strong limestone influence: mineral, stone driven, citrus fruits and some white fruits (peach) after some aeration. The wine fermented in a large recent oak cask (foudre) and was on full lees until bottling. The palate is quite strict, bone dry, with a racy sapid acidity that gives a juicy texture on the finish. The wine has a nice concentration, but because it is bone dry with a ripe acidity, it feels elegant and delicate.

Softly fruited on then entry with apple, quince, and ripe pear with light toast. The ripe but not fruity palate is medium weight with cream, almost pineapple and some leesy buttery qualities.

rom the producer: This is 2021 Napa Valley Chardonnay is bright and lively with fresh notes of lemon verbena, orange blossom, Golden Delicious apple, and Asian pear, with Tarte Tatin and brioche toast. Mouthwatering and crisp, the palate is focused with a lean backbone of acidity balanced by layers of honeysuckle, hazelnut, and white peach, all supported by a round, creamy mouthfeel. The long, persistent finish offers a slight flintiness that is inviting and intriguing, encouraging sip after sip. Elegant and graceful, it’s an exemplary Chardonnay sure to please many a discriminating palate.

Aromas of baked apple, light peach, citrus and crushed rocks. The palate is medium in weight with a round creamy texture, and flavors of golden apple, pears, citrus oil and lanolin. The acidity is medium and the finish long.

The nose is enticing with aromas of floral, peach, apricot and minerality. On the palate there is a pleasant light bitterness that balances with the full texture and bold flavor of this wine. Flavors of preserved citrus fruits, glazed orange rind and orange blossom, with peach and apricot as well. This wine is ripe, juicy and has a long delicious finish.

This is a very nice white bordeaux with kiwi, honeydew and cantaloupe melon, grapefruit pith, with perfume like florals. The palate has some dried hay like note that mingles with stone fruit, lemon and mint with integrate flavors and concentration. This is executed and balanced with an exceptionally long finish.

 The Champalous are masters of Loire Chenin Blanc, producing Vouvray in all styles; this still, dry rendition, aged in stainless steel, represents their flagship cuvée. Gentle and refreshing on the palate, it boasts a delightful balance of stony minerality with luscious, almost honeyed fruit and flowery notes, making for a great apéritif or easy pairing with all sorts of dishes. 

Complex and elegant, with layers of pure, concentrated pear, citrus and stone fruit flavors, mouth-watering acidity and a tangy, mineral core.

With a golden hue and green reflections, this cuvée expresses the full potential of Rolle with freshness and fruitiness, in a harmonious ensemble: white flowers and peach give way to lemony scents of Semillon and Ugni Blanc. Light, lively, and silky at the same time, it is easy to drink and thirst-quenching with a final note of citrus that complements the great complexity of this wine.

Quite an aromatic wine with juicy stone fruit, fresh herbs and just blooming lilies. The palate is ripe and concentrated with juicy acidity and fruity nectarine, peach, pineapple and white grapes. There is a light chalkiness, along with floral notes of chamomile tea and saltiness on the finish. The palate has good structure and is deliciously satisfying.

This is medium plus to full bodied with loads of orchard fruits -- apricot, apple and ripe pear, along with hints of flowers, chalk and chamomile, ending with glazed apple notes. The texture is roundish with plenty of juicy acidity and a touch of salty minerality.

Aromas of marzipan, honey, and yellow apple on the nose. The palate is round and creamy from partial barrel aging providing lychee and vanilla notes.

A delicious wine with exotic aromas of fennel, mint and lychee. The flavors echo the aromas, and build into succulent peach, ripe banana, and dried herbs. The texture is silky and round with medium acidity and a fuller body.

A fuller, more plush style of Riesling. Notes of Orange blossom and shale-driven minerality show through with striking intensity. Layers of ripe orchard fruit and tropical fruit coat the palate, supported by broad, lingering acidities.

Ripe and citrus oriented on the nose with fresh summer herbs, grapefruit, lemon and fennel tones. The palate delivers toasted nuts, a pleasant bitter note to balance and a lightly creamy texture. White pepper, vanilla, and wood spice are complimented by soft apple and pear flavors in this medium to fuller- bodied white.

This dry red blend is Bordeaux-like, but quite fruity with flavors of plum, red cherry, black raspberry and blackbery. It is medium weight with crisp acidity, a pleasant tartness and moderate tannins. You'll also find light smokiness, some black pepper and lingering blueberry notes. Overall, this wine is nicely harmonized and a great food partner.

Aromas are big, smoky, and spicy with blackberry, dark chocolate, and a hint of licorice. The palate has a nice lift and acidity, with flavors that match the aromas, including the pepper and blackberry. Medium plus in body with a persistent finish. The wine spends a year in American and French oak, with a further four months in bottle.

Aromas of black cherry, earth and faint smoke lead to a medium weight Cabernet Franc with black berry and black cherry fruit that is fresh, pure and slightly candied, with a touch of minerality. This has moderate acidity and a very fine texture.

In this bottling from Yves Leccia, the French import Grenache—called Elegante in Corsica—takes center stage, offering fragrant notes of lavender spiced with balmy Mediterranean brush. There is ripeness on the attack and then refreshing sandalwood and vibrant black raspberry. A splash of the indigenous Niellucciu completes the blend, adding some muscle to this savory, cherry red whose sunny island flavors come into focus when slightly chilled.

From the Producer: Barda is the local term for “eroded steep slope” Often perceived as the “village level” Pinot Noir at Chacra, Barda is sourced from the estate’s “youngest vines” planted in the 1990s. The vines are ungrafted, from an original massale selection on sandy calcareous soils presenting a more high toned aromatic component in the wine. Barda is fermented in equal parts concrete and French oak, 15% of which is new followed by an 11 month elévage. Unfined/unfiltered with minimal sulphur.

Savory herbs and strawberry cooli with orange zest and brick dust. The fruit on the palate is slightly tart with raspberry and blood orange that balances some Nebbiolo like qualities such as forest floor, Asian five spice, bark and mountain herbs. This wine has a fineness surrounding it with a long finish and medium plus acidity. 

A stylish red that's fresh and focused, showing expressive aromas and flavors of blackberry, dried lavender, espresso and iron in a well-knit, medium- to full-bodied frame. The long, creamy finish is loaded with spice box and sweet smoke accents. Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon and Viognier. Drink now through 2027 – Wine Spectator, 92 Points

Our notes: Aromas are of plum, black cherry, earth and truffle. This is medium weight with black cherry, raspberry and plum fruit that's ripe, not tart. It is fresh with mostly pure fruit and a touch of cooked as well. There are hints of orange, cinnamon and chalk. Tannins are nicely rounded.

Smokey aromatics with raspberry, roasted red pepper, tobacco and some violet florals. The palate is medium with smoke echoing the aromas. This wine has flavors dark berries, dark chocolate, black pepper, with medium acidity and some grippy tannins that come together with the smokey finish.

Wild aromatics with Maine blueberries, dried fruit, plums, blackberry pie with integrated tannins and some baking spice.

Ripe raspberry and purple fruits, tobacco, sandalwood and forest floor greet you on the nose and remain concentrated on the palate. The flavors are of warm raspberry coulis with cinnamon, licorice, wood spice, and potpourri. You might find a touch of smoked paprika, as well as a note of cured sausage too. Medium wieght with moderate acidity and fine tannins.

This medium to lighted bodied red offers red cherry and strawberry fruit along with notes of mineral, stone and light spice. The fruit is fresh and you'll find fine to medium tannins that provide structure.

The nose gives aromas of red and black cherry, baked raspberry pie, cranberry, meat, garrigue and smoke. It smells Italian! The palate is medium weight with strawberries, berry seeds, violets, mineral and camp fire. It has a softer structure than you might expect from Nebbiolo, with integrated acidity and tannins. A long, balsamic finish completes the package.

An interesting wine ideal for charcuterie because it is thoroughly aromatic with dried herbs and florals, unusual in certain way with structure and savory notes. There is some menthol tone that evolves into tobacco and smoke. The acidity and body for this wine is medium but with good intensity of flavor.

Aromas of mountain herbs, smoke and red raspberry set the tone for this wine. It is round and rich in texture and highlighted by ripe, succulent fruit flavors including pomegranate, cranberry, and black cherry.

Blueberries, blackberries, and black cherries delight the nose from this red fleshed wine. The medium bodied palate follows with medium plus acid, dark berries, tart and fresh black cherries; it's savory with a long finish.

Organically farmed vineyards deliver minimally intervened yet clean wines with plum, fresh and cooked strawberry with black pepper and a mix of dried herbs.

High-toned black cherry and slightly earthy aromas on the nose. The wine shows a perfect combination of fresh red fruit such as black cherries, raspberries and blackberries. Spice touches and licorice hints contribute complexity. The ageing in French oak integrates subtle vanilla and caramel nuances with dens lingering black berry on the finish.

This wine is from phylloxera-free vineyards with unirrigated grapes, giving it a pronounced personality. Fresh red and cooked cherries, spiced plums, and light balsamic notes characterize the aromas. The palate is medium to medium plus in body with macerated cherries and raspberries, plum molasses, and some vanilla and cinnamon. This wine has a level of minerality that reflecting its volcanic soil but is balanced with round tannins and a long finish.

The aromatic intensity is medium plus with blueberry, wild blackcap and dark cocoa with some blackberry seed note. This wine changes and gets more complex with more air. The palate is slightly warming with tree bark, plum, dark chocolate and dried herbs. As a package this is a savory and earthy wine with dark fruit and good typicity.

This smells classic; old world spice, leather, and a touch of warm earth. The palate delivers ripe red and black berries, tobacco with a medium-plus body, just right tannic structure and mouth-watering acidity to balance.

A staple of the French-speaking cantons of Switzerland, this is a light-hearted blend of Gamay (40%), Pinot Noir (40%), and Diolinoir (20%) from small parcels in Vétroz, fermented and aged in stainless steel. Red-vine fruit with fresh acidity make this a light and pleasant drinker.

Concentrated aromas of blueberry compote, cassis and black plum with savory notes that make you want to dive into the glass; think licorice, tobacco, roasted tomatoes, mint and BBQ sweetness. The aromas are upheld on the palate with a smoky/meaty note, roasted red pepper, more raspberry and cherry, equally complex tertiary notes of leather, bitter cocoa, poppyseed, campfire smoke, and menthol. The texture is well-integrated with supple tannins, medium acidity and great concentration.

Aromas of smoke and spice, black olive and black cherry. The palate has a lovely texture deriving from fine tannins. Grapes, blackberries, and light spice as well as a hint of tapenade, make up the flavors.

Aromas of cured meat, tar, and smoky dark fruit lead to flavors of charred, tar, ash, and darker fruits like black cherries and black currants. This wine has a lovely texture for Nebbiolo, with soft tannins and medium acidity providing structure.

Aromas of stewed plum and blackberry in the fruit department; red flowers; spices and black tea for savory notes. In the mouth, black cherry joins the aromas. Tannins and body are both medium, with acidity a little higher.

Aromas of dark cherries, roasted red pepper, and warm earth on the nose. The palate is medium in weight with supple tannins and well-integrated stewed red fruits and pepper, finishing with lingering vanilla and baking spice notes. 

This Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara has a floral nose, with loads of raspberries and a touch of alcohol. The body is medium to medium plus, nicely ripe with a lot of density and depth. Rich with flavors of black cherries, blackberries, and light smoke; finishing with medium acidity and lingering fruit.

From the producer: A bowl of summer fruits including sweet blackberries, raspberries, black olives and pomegranates which are highlighted by black pepper, violets and fresh green olive scents that develop and evolve with air. Vivacious and bright in the mouth with real density of flavor and concentration from the long cool growing season.

Beautiful nose with such ripe and fruity notes of dark berries, sweeter blueberry compote and cocoa. The bit of Zinfandel adds to the flavors with smoke on the finish, black pepper and some cigar. This wine is smooth with soft tannins and balanced acidity.

From the producer The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from our consistently favorite sites for cabernet sauvignon: our estate Davis and Caywood Vineyards, as well as our longtime grower partner Standing Stone Vineyards. These sites have two distinctive soil types, Honeoye silt loam and Valois gravelly loam. The Honeoye series consists of very deep soils formed in loamy till that are consistent with the steep soils on till plains, ridgelines, and drumlins in the area. The Valois gravelly loam soils are also very deep, very well drained soils formed of shale, siltstone, and sandstone. 

"A rich purple in the glass. The complex nose features nuanced aromas ranging from blackberry to blueberry and currant with hints of cedar and spice. In the mouth, it’s juicy with a grippy texture and delicate, concentrated but relaxed tannins before the lengthy finish. It seems that the healthy biodynamic vineyard was able to withstand the warmth of 2020. An extremely well-made wine that handled the conditions with aplomb."

This Napa Cabernet Sauvignon smells of black tea, black currants, and macerated dark fruits such as black cherries and plums. The palate is elegant and medium in body, presenting more black tea, black cherries, some smoke, spice, integrated acid, and fine tannins.

Rich aromas of plums, blackberries, mulberries, coffee, and a touch of lavender. The palate follows with red plums, fresh berry juice, black caps, coffee, and cacao. Medium bodied and ripe but with fresh acidity, finishing with fine tannins.

Aromas of red berries, black cherry, plum, and dried cranberry, with a touch of spice and white pepper. The berry notes continue on the palate with more herbal and earthy notes joining in as well as savory hints of smoked meats. This wine is well balanced and fresh with medium acidity, some density, and fine tannins.

Complex, savory aromas of red and black berry, cocoa, cola spices, smoke and iron-like minerals entice on the nose. Flavors on the palate are well-integrated and echo the aromas ending with a long, spicy-vanilla finish.

Approachable but thorough tannins support ripe cherry and raspberry notes. The acidity is fresh and balanced by earthier floral, cocoa and smoke flavors.

Perfumed aromas of red plum and mixed cherries are fragrant and inviting. On entry, this medium weight wine has soft tannins with gentle and ripe red fruit at the core and a cocoa edge, balanced by fresh acidity.

Coming from fruit planted in 1990 this wine offers wild raspberry, bright cherry, red plum and forest floor with baking and wood spices. The palate has finesse! The flavors offer forest floor, mixed red fruit, fine tannins and ripe flavors with persistent acid.

The wine has a deep red color and offers aromas of dark berries, blackcurrant, and a hint of spice. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with a velvety texture and smooth tannins. The flavors are similar to the aroma, with dark fruit notes, a hint of black pepper, and a touch of minerality.

Aromas of wild raspberry, dried strawberry, earth, dried herbs and forest greet you on the nose. This wine is medium weight or slightly less. The palate is fruit forward with both tart and ripe notes including red raspberry, tart cherry and pomegranate fruit mixed with white pepper and lightly funky earth and herbs. Tannins are smooth with some perky acidity peeking out. 

A very savory style with a bouquet of cedar, oregano, and other dried herbs. The texture is lush with medium-plus body, moderate acidity and round tannins. Flavors offer more fresh red fruit, cherry, raspberry compote, and thyme.

Aromatics of peach blossom, minerality, white cherry, watermelon rind, and cucumber waft out of this very pretty and clean rose. The palate contains lovely notes of rose water, candied rose, Turkish delight, powdered sugar, and light cherries, finishing with juicy acidity. Staff described this wine as being all around "cute"!

Clean, invigorating notes of silex on the nose showcase the limestone soils of the Rouanne vineyard. The aromas and flavors develop as the wines opens to reveal wild strawberry and fresh thyme – a complex and flavorful sparkling rosé.

Seductive and shimmering, the light rosé color pulls you into its fragrant fruitiness. Strawberries and tart cherries circled by mouthwatering shale minerality completes this sunny and sophisticated wine.

This traditional sparkling half bottle is full of butter biscuit aromas with some membrillo on top. There are notes of blueberry and whipped cream with soft citrus and yellow apple notes. The palate has a bursting bead with white pepper and more blueberry, white flowers with a long mineral finish.

Its structure is fine and dynamic, its unmistakable, full-bodied flavours of redcurrant, blueberry and raspberry mixed with a hint of Gariguette strawberry make it a champagne that can be enjoyed all year round, as an aperitif or with light desserts. It is a gourmet champagne with enticing and aromatic red berry flavours, to be enjoyed chilled as an aperitif, on its own or with salmon, tuna or shrimp appetizers, as an example.

This sparkling wine offers aromatics of apple, pear and melon. It is generous, fruit forward and ripe with good concentration of apple and white peach. Completely dry, yet lush and . tasty with a long finish.

100% Riesling from a blend of 2022 and 2023 vintages. Beautifully balanced and very tasty with just a touch of sweetness. Floral aromas, ripe apple, and pear combine in this clean sparkler which showcases a texture of fine mousse.

Made in the traditional method style, this brut boasts a fresh and intense bouquet of golden apple, pear, and meyer lemon. The brioche, biscuit, and creamy yogurt notes are well integrated with the ripe fruit, and the finish is long and lovely.

Capable of pairing with food or enjoying by itself this sake is smoky mixed with toasted nuts and tropical fruit. The palate is very creamy, dense and lush with round and bright tropical fruit.

This Normandy perry presents lovely caramelized aromas of burnt sugar, apple butter, apple tarte, and creme brulee. The palate is slightly oxidized and off dry with pear creme brulee, cooked pears, apple sauce, and beautiful acidity. Sherry and keeved cider lovers will adore!

Sassafras and tree bark aromas with fresh red berries. The palate has a syrupy sweetness that balances the bitterness that continues to increase on the palate. There is bright red cherry, rose petals, and wild strawberries with some orange zest on the finish. The palate contains bark and forest floor notes.

Classic notes of juniper and cucumber with fresh lemon but delivery some white tropical fruits. The palate has some sweetness naturally from the honey but also black pepper, cardamom and finishes creamy.

Richly herbal, with excited notes of star anise sitting beneath simmering spiced notes of cardamom and pepper. Decidedly green (and not just from the historical connection between Pastis liqueurs and Absinthe) with fresh, roughly chopped herbs, warming spices and, of course, the distinctive notes of wormwood. Slightly creamy texture with a long anise finish.

From Haus Alpenz Importer/Distributor: Averell is an exceptionally bright liqueur—the fresh-pressed juice of heirloom Damson Plums married to a botanical gin marked by juniper, warm winter spices, bay leaf and ginger. Delicious with seltzer, sparkling wine or ginger beer, in both hot and cold black tea, or on its own, over ice. The history of the Damson dates to the dawn of civilization. Prized by the Romans and Crusaders, its cultivation spread throughout Europe and later to the orchards of North American colonial settlers who appreciated its nervy character: rich, intensely tart and slightly bitter. The Damson stands today as an endangered variety from a bygone era.

Review From Master of Malt: NOSE: Cedar, toasted brown sugar, apricot-filled pastries. PALATE: Caramel and vanilla sit up front, with notes of nutmeg, milky coffee and macadamia developing in the background. FINISH: Lingering waxy fruit and a tickle of black pepper.

This digestif is very aromatic with alpine herbs but predominantly mint and spearmint. The palate is equally intense and mint driven with some dark fruits like date and fig represented with herbaceous qualities. 

Impeccably clean and undeniably mixable, Singani 63 is a 500-year-old Bolivian spirit distilled from Muscat of Alexandria grapes high in the Andes.

This delicious rum is fragrant with coffee bean and white chocolate notes. On the palate, it gives white flavors like white chocolate, vanilla, custard cream and white pepper. This is soft and rounded, has a creamy sweetness and is a terrific value for its fragrance and flavor. Try it with a pina colada or mojito or just sip on its own.

A classic aromatic nose with lavender, juniper, rosemary, citrus and quinine. This is high-toned, sippable and silky with the palate delivering orange peel and pith, juniper berry, spearmint, and bilberry. This has a long lasting finish with lemon zest. Nicely rounded texture on the entry and just-right spice and sweetness on the ending.

A polished and clean style with notes of white pepper, mineral water, cactus and subtle baked apple. The palate is focused with cilantro, queen Anne's lace, cucumber, and slightly sweet lime.

This appealing, soft, French gin gives notes of fig, fig leaves, a fruity  sweetness, black pepper and a creamy mouthfeel. It is as attractive on the palate as it's bottle.

Amaro Nardini is the perfect balance of flavors, with hints of licorice from the gentian root, peppermint and orange in perfect balance. Perfect after meals, served straight, cold or with crushed ice and a slice of orange.

This is aged for 5-8 years in oak barrels which gives it distinctive warming spices that are layered on molasses cookies, butterscotch and banana foster with hints of orange zest. This gentle style of whiskey is like peaches soaked in brandy with caramel, amaretto, pie crust and white pepper. There is distinctive apricot and nuttiness on the palate and it round on your tastebuds.

Distilled from more than 10 pounds of fresh mountain cherries exclusively of the region surrounding Zug. The brandies gently evolve for years in glass demijohns before bottling. Kirsch is famously enjoyed sipped neat adfter dinner or as aperitif mixed with club soda. In cocktails it pairs magically with Genepy. In the kitchen, its an essential ingredient in a traditional fondue.

The nose is of cherry candy, orange, citrus and cinnamon. Lifted licorice and medicinal red cherry are sweet and viscous with a biting bitterness on the midpalate to the finish. This is dominated by red cherry with oranges and a long, bitter almond finish.

This grape to glass gin is distilled from Finger Lakes wine and infused with juniper, orange peel and pollinator friendly botanicals including cardamom, rosehip and milkweed. It is then proofed with Catskill mountain spring water. Notes of orange blossoms, coriander, juniper, elderberry and citrus.

Crimson Amaro is an herbaceous aperitivo style amaro from the Catskills. A secret blend of more than 15 botanicals, among them juniper, wormwood, sage, angelica, gentian, and orris root. Naturally colored with cochineal and naturally sweetened with honey.  Notes of rose water, pink grapefruit, cherry cordial and sage with a Campari-esque bitterness. Perfect for a Negroni or spritz.

Aromas of cinnamon and gingerbread cookies mix with orange and apple. This is nicely round and viscous in the mouth without being heavy. The palate is reminiscent of molasses-ginger cookies with darker, cooked apple and burnt orange fruits blending with baking spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Lightly sweet with a kiss of pleasant bitterness. YUM!

Aromas open with red plum, raspberry coulis, dried cherry and fig with a restrained gingerbread note. A sweet beginning on the palate with darker flavors of sassafras, quinine, lime zest, root beer spices, green apple, and a lingering but pleasant bitter finish. This vermouth is fun, and could work well in a negroni with a serious level of depth of flavor.

Aromas of strawberry, red cherry, and sage are appealing on the nose. The palate is sweet strawberry and raspberry candy with a light bitterness emerging on the finish. It is fine in texture and wine-like with rhubarb and bright red cherry staying clean and focused with just a hint of dried herb and bramble at the end. This is a good bridge between Aperitivo and Vermouth.
