Elegant aromas of melon, grapefruit, pears and green apples with a hint of elderflower. There is a nice roundness and creaminess as it warms up, along with apple, gooseberry and pear fruit. The acidity is perfectly balanced, offering a well structured and long lasting, clean finish.

Kermit Lynch tasting note:Very pure Sancerre aroma, generous, fresh, without grassy edges. The palate is expansive, then the nervosity makes its appearance and the finish is dry and lipsmackingly good. One of the things I love about it is that it leaves on the lips, not the palate, not the throat, but on your lips, a fresh little lemony whisper which makes it a fabulous complement to simple fish dishes.

This is high quality Gruner Veltliner with more density and depth than an entry level wine. It is succulent and juicy with attractive florality and notes of fennel, white peach, almond paste and coriander. The texture is waxy-creamy, yet still zippy.

Aromas are of nectarine, apple, flowers, honey , pear and peach fuzz. The palate is medium plus in weight with succulent orchard fruits (apple, peach, pear) and some tropical notes (passionfruit underripe mango). This Georgian variety gives aromas are of apple, dried herbs and hay while the medium-plus bodied palate displays nice ripeness with apple, apple skin, quince and peach fruits. These are balanced by savory hay, chamomile, white pepper and wildflowers before concluding with a citrusy finish.

This very aromatic wine offers lightly bitter ginger skin and lychee. It smells as though it might be too much of a good thing, but it isn’t. Lovely flavors of citrus, ginger, lychee, and orange blossom join clean acidity in this medium-bodied wine with a longer finish.

This wine begins with notes of fennel mixed with apple and pear. It is medium weight on the palate, crystal-clear, fresh and clean with subtle fruitiness of pear, nectarine, and apple (both green and yellos). This white blend offers plenty of minerality and some leesiness which gives it a slightly rounded texture despite its high acidity. Delicious with cheese or as an aperitif or partner with light foods.

Freshly grated lime zest greet the taster with pear, apple and wet stone minerality. The magic occurs on the palate with almost off-dry flavors of ripe peach, apricot, sundew melon, marzipan and yellow plum. The acidity is medium plus with a medium bodied frame that tastes riper than the aromas suggest.

This is a classic and well-made Gewurztraminer from a cool vintage. Aromas of lychee, ginger skin, and honeysuckle greet the nose of this medium-bodied wine and carry through to the bright and flavorful palate where lychee, white flowers, ginger, pear, and light brown spices add complexity. Fine bead with soft texture like golden apple and ripe peach but the palate has great juicy acidity with a long finish and reminiscent of citrus zest.

This sparkling wine offers aromatics of apple, pear and melon. It is generous, fruit forward and ripe with good concentration of apple and white peach. Completely dry, yet lush and . tasty with a long finish.

This has a very nice, frothy mousse. It's more of a crisp, clean, minerally style, not very fruity, but not austere either. Notes of lemon, stone and biscuit can be found in this finely-textured, persistent Champagne.

The wine spends around a year on its lees before disgorgement with the result being a more youthful and fresh wine than Champagne which is lively and strikingly aromatic. Tropical fruits are more prevalent here with pineapple, glazed stone fruits and mango flavours. Hints of hazelnuts and sweet spice conclude beautifully on the palate.

This is very minerally and clean with a lovely, vibrant frothiness. The fruit is subtle, enhanced by a leesiness from aging 20 months in bottle.

A fruity nose of lime and melon with bold hints of fennel, white pepper and allspice. The flavors gravitate to ripe cantaloupe and anise while the minerality from the soft water is evident in the finish. This vibrant showstopper is beautifully soft and feminine, brewed by one of Japan's only female brewery owners and tojis. Brewed in Hiroshima, the birthplace of Ginjo sake, which is known for remarkably soft water that requires expert skill to use in sake production. Once mastered, it enables a highly controlled, precise fermentation, resulting in vibrant fruit aromas. This Junmai Ginjo is bottled immediately without charcoal filtering.

A subtle and soft sake but with complex rounded flavors. A wonderful one for sipping by itself. The nose on this flavorful Daiginjo is a collection of cherry, mango, tropical fruit, powder sugar and Marigold elements. It is supremely smooth and soft in a Kyoto water kind of way, and there is a very sublime flavor of pear, apple, and powdered sugar. 

Kurosawa Nigori Sake retains a visible level of rice sediments that enhance its body and texture. This sake's fruity nose and creamy umami flavor make it an excellent complement to spicy foods. Serve cold or chilled, Shake well before serving.

This quaffable sake offers aromas of melon, citrus and rice with touches of umami and banana notes. It is creamy with good density and ripeness, giving fruit forward notes of melon, lychee, tropical rambutan and banana, along with touches of yeast and rice. You'll find this handy size to be delicious.

Medium to full-bodied with good concentration and density. Bright apricot, pineapple and golden apple join with a savory chamomile note and a touch of honey in this creamy and lush, dry, impressive, organic sake.

Fruity yet delicate with pleasant aromas of green apple, pear and hints of anise. There are secondary notes of pear, mint, and bright tropical fruit. The palate has some sesame seed, meadow flowers and is very easy and pleasing. Smooth dry and light on entry with honeysuckle, minerality, creamy apple and a long finish. This delicious, organic junmai daiginjo sake is delicious with food.

What an aromatic cider with golden apple, pear, and plum. The palate is soft and round with great texture and flavors that echo the aromas. This cider is delicious!

Notes of mandarin orange, marmalade, and tangerine combine with white flowers in the glass. Despite being a little cloudy (it's unfiltered) the flavors are clean and precise - morphing into orange blossom on the palate.
