This is medium to fuller bodied with fresh blackberry, black cap raspberry, bittersweet chocolate, tobacco and graphite. Lifting acidity and integrated acidity make this a wonderful food wine.

This fabulous Cabernet Franc exhibits everything we love about the variety: beautiful dark fruits, savory earth elements and fine, supple tannins. Aromas are big, smoky, and spicy with blackberry, dark chocolate, and a hint of licorice. The palate has a nice lift and acidity, with flavors that match the aromas, including the pepper and blackberry. Medium plus in body with a persistent finish. The wine spends a year in American and French oak, with a further four months in bottle.

Cool-climate Cabernet Franc that is unoaked. It was originally produced in a stainless steel tank #23 (T23) and remained in the Lamoreaux line-up as a classic expression of the region without the interplay of oak or oak tannins.

Attractive red jam fruits are still dry in this Zinfandel-based wine which has nice purity and finesse, as well as velvety tannins. It has medium acidity or even more, giving it good balance. There's plenty of flavor here, including a little brambly note.

This attractively packaged wine offers aromas of coffee, plums, and red cherries. The wine is well-balanced in the mouth, with red plum and cherry, fresh black currant and jam, and hints of black pepper and herbs. Medium in body and acidity, with fine tannins and a longer finish.

From the Winemaker: "Sabbie di Sutta Cerasuolo di Vittoria has a lively cherry-red color and an intense aroma of red fruit and floral notes. Its smooth, full and harmonious taste pairs very well with many traditional Sicilian recipes and the typical flavors of the Mediterranean cuisine. This red wine is a blend of Nero d'Avola and Frappato grapes grown on sandy soils in the Vittoria area, a corner of Sicily that smells like Africa, situated just a few miles from the southernmost tip of the Italian peninsula."

This aromatic, aged wine offers delicious and complex aromas of ripe black cap raspberries, plums, cassis, dark chocolate, espresso, woodsiness and earth. The palate gives some tertiary flavors of balsamic, fall fruit compote, prunes, espresso, black pepper, tobacco, forest floor, black trumpets, worn leather, and pastry crust; dusty tannins provide structure.

Dark in the glass with inviting savory notes of pepper and grilled meats on the nose, followed by jammy purple and red fruit with a hint of leather and toasted oak. The palate brings plenty of dark fruit, including blackberry and plums, with approachable, peppery tannins and a long silky finish.

Aromas include ripe red cherry, black cherry and plum and a whiff of pink peppercorn, and bergamont. The palate is soft and bright with juicy red fruit of pomegranates, red currants and cherry. The palate also has light black tea, thyme, with potentially light oak influence. You could drink this lighter-bodied wine slightly chilled or as a great affordable alternative to Gamay!

This appassimento wine uses dried grapes to concentrate the flavors. It is soft and supple in texture with velvety tannins on a medium frame. Stewed black and red fruits are accompanied by light tobacco and spice and a touch of smoke. Notes of blackberry, black cherries, and dates follow through to spices and dried herbs on the finish.

This wine spends nine months in oak but we assume it is older oak because the aromas are fresh raspberry, red cherry and plum. The aromas are similar on the palate with additional fine tannins, integrated acid and balanced alcohol.

Slightly floral aromas mix with dark cherry, chocolate cake, oak, and cedar on the nose. The extra time in the barrel has softened this lovely Chianti Classico. The palette is pleasingly dense with Old World flavors, nicely ripe and fruity with soft but present tannins and juicy acidity. 

Strawberry, cranberry, red cherry and some smoke aromatics. The palate is structured with medium plus tannins, medium acid and medium body with flavors like black pepper, plum, and currants.

Medium aromas of black pepper, spicy roasted bell pepper and black fruit. This wine becomes more spicy with air and delivers plum and blackberry with oaky, toasty and cedar wood flavors. This is a classic example of the grape varietal and is also vegan.

This deeply colored wine offers powerful aromas of mulberry, mocha, sweet wood, and damson plum. In the mouth, it is juicy with moderate plus acidity. The aromas are echoed in the flavors—plum, dark chocolate, smoke, mulberry, and sweet wood. Tannins are fine-grained and nearly invisible, but they provide just enough structure. This is quite aromatic, offering sweet wood, dark fruit--blackberry, blueberry, spiced cherry, plum--and cedar, all nicely integrated, with each sniff providing something more and different. Aromas of dark cherry, cocoa and chocolate-covered raisins lead to a ripe wine with concentrated blackberry, cherry cordial and macerated plum flavors. This darkly-colored red manages to stay refreshing and has super soft tannins, ending with a touch of smoke and bramble to add complexity.

Gorgeous pink color with a nose of raspberry, ripe strawberry and cherry aromas. The perfume is gorgeous and yet, has a delicacy to it. This wine is ultra-elegant with pinpoint bubbles and finesse. The fruit is ripe and red fruited--raspberry, cherry, pomegranate, strawberry, cranberry--all the reds!  It is dry and minerally, yet generous with its fruit. Such balance means that your bottle will quickly disappear!

Off all of South Hill ciders this one has more earthy and woodsy aromas. It begins with minerality and apple blossom with tart granny smith acid. The palate has a touch of honey and bitter grapefruit mingle with crisp tannins and long finish. 

This skin-contact Pinot Grigio is the color of a rosé and tastes somewhere between an orange wine and a dry rosé. It is clean and fresh with lively scents of strawberry, rose and apple. The palate is medium to full-bodied with more strawberry, along with nectarine, red currants, cherry and peach notes. It is at the same time creamy and juicy with slight salinity and tannin providing a framework to the wine. A very interesting and captivating wine.
