Ripe aromas of steeped black cherry and blackberry jump out of the glass with undertones of black pepper and baking spices. These flavors extend to the palate with the addition of violets and plums, and continue expressing the pleasant ripeness of the dark fruits. This medium-plus bodied wine is very well-balanced with fine tannins, nice saturation, and fresh, juicy acidity.
