This wine is something else all together with an inky and chewy backbone that matches the aromas with density and concentration. Perfume of grandma's home with forest floor, violets, horse stable and leather that layer aromas of blueberries and black olives. The palate is medium bodied with medium acidity and tannin structure. Flavors of black plum, dark currants, cigar paper and cured black olives.

Chocolate, figs, leather, espresso, dried fruit and spices. This is complex, still young and delivers an approachable expression of Amarone that is medium plus in tannins and medium in acidity.

Today, Susumaniello is one of Puglia’s best-kept secrets. A red with a bold character, surprising with its freshness. An experimental wine made by fermenting and aging organic Aglianico in untreated clay amphora, Titolo by Amphora channels the grape’s natural power into a soft and supremely nuanced wine. As the amphora become seasoned year after year, the wine takes on a fuller body after its 18-month aging regimen.

Grown on high elevation, this old vine, small production wine delivers a real sense of liquid geography. Aromas that are meaty, smoky and red fruited make this wine decadent. The palate offers brambly fruit, blackberry coulis, vanilla and complex oak spice while the texture remains velvety.

This wine is overall well made and tasty. It is medium-plus in body with good depth, namely black fruit, black currants, slight savory tones and integrated smoke. Due to its age, you’ll find the tannins soft and velvety.

Using a family recipe since 1897, Nonino Amaro is a careful infusion of alpine herbs, enriched today by the presence of UE grapes aged over 5 years.

The primary flavors of Cardamaro are cardoon and blessed thistle, with a short repose in oak for spice and and texture. Notes of brown baking spices of cardamom and cloves, ginger and sassafras. Sweet with an herby bitterness from the cardoons. Drink as a digestif. In cocktails, outstanding with cider, whiskey, or use in place of vermouth.

This digestif is very aromatic with alpine herbs but predominantly mint and spearmint. The palate is equally intense and mint driven with some dark fruits like date and fig represented with herbaceous qualities. 

On the nose, this is a combination of stewed jam, black pepper, medicinal notes, roots and bark. On the palate, it's a mix of sweet cherry and sassafras with twig/roots, black pepper, more earthiness and a light bitterness. Overall, it's less fruity than Aperol.

The nose is of cherry candy, orange, citrus and cinnamon. Lifted licorice and medicinal red cherry are sweet and viscous with a biting bitterness on the midpalate to the finish. This is dominated by red cherry with oranges and a long, bitter almond finish.

Aromas of cinnamon and gingerbread cookies mix with orange and apple. This is nicely round and viscous in the mouth without being heavy. The palate is reminiscent of molasses-ginger cookies with darker, cooked apple and burnt orange fruits blending with baking spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg and clove.
