T Rosso combines the lightness of the jovial Schiava and the pleasant fruit richness found in Pinot Noir and Merlot. It’s a combination of the history and winemaking tradition of Alto Adige. The grapes come from vineyards planted in calcareous clay and gravel soils at an altitude between 250 and 550 meters.
This lighter colored red has plenty of personality and flavor. On the nose, you’ll find red fruits, herbs and cinnamon. The palate continues with red berries such as cherries and raspberries, along with savory herb notes. The wine is juicy and fresh with a line of acidity threading through with great finesse and finishing with a succulent, raspberry-plum, one-two punch. A great summer wine. We dare you to try to drink just one glass!
Enjoy with a range of light, casual dishes and flavors. Plan a picnic of tomatoes with pesto, crispy chickpeas, roasted peppers, white beans, focaccia and chicken with couscous. Enjoy with fresh vegetables, tofu, spicy ethnic food or salads. You can’t go wrong!
