This Late Harvest Riesling is crafted in the traditional German Spätlese style, with natural sweetness balanced by lively acidity. The outcome is a wine with an elegant yet luscious nose, followed by a generous palate of crisp ripe stone fruit and floral notes, lingering into a long, naturally sweet finish. 4.3% residual sugar.

Medium-plus aromas of tangerine, dried apricot, chalk, chamomile flowers and certain salinity. Medium in body with round texture and refreshing acidity. The aromas translate onto flavors with the addition of pear, ginger skin, white flowers and a lot more minerality. Medium-plus on the finish.

Aromas of baked apple, honey, pineapple, citrus and toasty oak. On the palate this wine is well-balanced with enough acidity to carry its weight. This wine is full body and elegant and the oak use is just right.

Aromas of peach and apricot lead to a medium-plus to full-bodied, generous white that gives tropical flavors of pineapple, orange and apricot. It is round in texture with moderate acidity and though dry, it expresses a beeswax/honey note.

This unoaked Chardonnay offers fresh flavors of pineapple and grilled peaches with nice acidity to keep the palate lifted. The texture is attractive with both freshness and a broad mouthfeel. It finishes with glazed citrus and sweet snap pea.

From the producer: Pale yellow colour. The nose shows the strong limestone influence: mineral, stone driven, citrus fruits and some white fruits (peach) after some aeration. The wine fermented in a large recent oak cask (foudre) and was on full lees until bottling. The palate is quite strict, bone dry, with a racy sapid acidity that gives a juicy texture on the finish. The wine has a nice concentration, but because it is bone dry with a ripe acidity, it feels elegant and delicate.

This is classic Macon with its creamy texture and fresh crisp apple flavors.  Stainless steel aging adds to its freshness with subtle pear notes lingering on the finish.

This wine has great intensity and density with lightly spiced oak influence but not oaky or toasty. The palate has golden apple, cream and ripe pear with nice richness.

We are impressed with box chardonnay because it is crisp, clean and has a lot of fresh flavors like lemon zest, yellow apple and honeydew melon. It is is medium acidity and medium bodied with a finish of pear and minerality.

Clean and zesty with lemon, crunchy green pear, nectarine and fennel. The flavors are clean with good concentration of vanilla, almond, bosc pear and soft peach. The medium weight texture of this wine is balanced, fresh and delicious because the acid is thorough and lees characteristic gives subtly.

This wine has unusual and delightful aromatics, think of fennel, lemongrass, almond and lychee. A rich almost sweet texture with zippy acid and flavors of grapefruit, tangerine and chamomile. Long finish with lingering mineral overtones. fragrant notes of jasmine, peony, and lime.

This is an incredibly complex, rich and aromatic white that smells like jasmine, marzipan, nectarine and peaches. It tastes like ripe oranges, orange zest, flint and starfruit. Rounded texture with enough acidity to balance leads to a silky finish.

From the Producer: Founded in 1982, Au Bon Climat (which means "a well-exposed vineyard") produces internationally-recognized Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Blanc wine from grapes grown in California's Santa Barbara County.

Aromas are big, smoky, and spicy with blackberry, dark chocolate, and a hint of licorice. The palate has a nice lift and acidity, with flavors that match the aromas, including the pepper and blackberry. Medium plus in body with a persistent finish. This is quite aromatic, offering sweet wood, dark fruit--blackberry, blueberry, spiced cherry, plum--and cedar, all nicely integrated, with each sniff providing something more and different. The palate is equally integrated and complex. The fine tannins and moderate acidity are lovely, supporting and melding with the fruit. The fruit itself is dark berries, patient and thorough, subtle and a real presence. This is a wine one wants always on the wine rack to be enjoyed again and again. Medium bodied with a longer finish.

Attractive aromas of raspberry, red cherry, warm earth, potpourri and pressed rose are apparent on the nose. This is medium in body with juicy purple fruits such as blueberries and plums with some dehydrated floral, cedar, bay leaf and violet notes. There is a minerality as well. The wine is well structured with moderate tannins and fresh acidity, and becomes more aromatic with exposure to air. This is aged in 2/3 amphora and 1/3 used oak.

The aromas are more subtle and muted than the palate but does smell like it is grown on volcanic soil because it is very mineral driven. There is also white raspberry and wild strawberry aromas as well. The palate is clean, fresh and ripe with rhubarb, tart strawberry and champagne currants.

Fruity yet delicate with pleasant aromas of green apple, pear and hints of anise. There are secondary notes of pear, mint, and bright tropical fruit. Delicious with seltzer, sparkling wine or ginger beer, in both hot and cold black tea, or on its own, over ice. The history of the Damson dates to the dawn of civilization. Prized by the Romans and Crusaders, its cultivation spread throughout Europe and later to the orchards of North American colonial settlers who appreciated its nervy character: rich, intensely tart and slightly bitter. The primary flavors of Cardamaro are cardoon and blessed thistle, with a short repose in oak for spice and and texture. Notes of brown baking spices of cardamom and cloves, ginger and sassafras. This intriguing rum is from the tiny Denominacion de Origen of Charanda in Michoacan, Mexico. It is a 50/50 blend of molasses distilled on a column still and fresh cane juice from a copper pot still. The sugar cane varietal, Saccharum Officinarum, is grown at 4180 feet above sea level in the red-colored volcanic soils of Uruapan, the village most associated with Charanda rums. This is wonderfully smooth, rich, and a touch funky with hints of mint and almond. A delicious alternative to Rum from the Caribbean!

This delicious rum is fragrant with coffee bean and white chocolate notes. On the palate, it gives white flavors like white chocolate, vanilla, custard cream and white pepper. This is soft and rounded, has a creamy sweetness and is a terrific value for its fragrance and flavor. Try it with a pina colada or mojito or just sip on its own.

Among the minor ingredients, herbs and woods with unique perfumes such as sandal, musk, myrrh and nutmeg.
