An alluring deep gold mimics the neighboring wheat fields of this region. Lemongrass, nectarines & flowers reveal themselves on the nose. A wonderfully medium bodied personality on the pal ate with rich, l a sting notes of ripe summer peaches & nartjies alongside a grounding undertone of straw. Moreish & long lasting.

Aromas include baked apricot, yellow apple and meadow/hay notes. Complex and elegant, the wine’s roundness is matched with fresh peach and apple flavors with touches of lanolin and almond. The finish reveals subtle notes of aniseed.

From the producer: Pale yellow colour. The nose shows the strong limestone influence: mineral, stone driven, citrus fruits and some white fruits (peach) after some aeration. The wine fermented in a large recent oak cask (foudre) and was on full lees until bottling. The palate is quite strict, bone dry, with a racy sapid acidity that gives a juicy texture on the finish. The wine has a nice concentration, but because it is bone dry with a ripe acidity, it feels elegant and delicate.

Quite aromatic with black cherry, plum, light smoke, cassis and some spice. On the palate it is dry and juicy with flavors of cherry, plum, campfire, and smoke. It is medium body with medium acidity and soft tannins.
