A beautifully mineral-driven Sauvignon Blanc with notes of pear, crisp apple and grapefruit. This is a nice alternative to Sancerre, with high acidity, concentrated citrus and classic Loire Valley stoney minerality.

Lightly floral aromas include orange blossom, lime and saline-like minerality. Flavors echo the aromas over juicy acid and an almost waxy texture with pleasant bitterness reminiscent of almond skin.

Aromas include baked apricot, yellow apple and meadow/hay notes. Complex and elegant, the wine’s roundness is matched with fresh peach and apple flavors with touches of lanolin and almond. The finish reveals subtle notes of aniseed.

This is a wine which shows both density and sharp precision. The flavors range from lemon and lemon peel to flower blossoms, nectarine, white peach, quince and apricot. There is zingy tartness as well as round and chewy elements in this complex Riesling. Some lightly singed fruit peel, minerality and stone combines with lime as well. Quality farming and winemaking is evident.

From the producer: Pale yellow colour. The nose shows the strong limestone influence: mineral, stone driven, citrus fruits and some white fruits (peach) after some aeration. The wine fermented in a large recent oak cask (foudre) and was on full lees until bottling. The palate is quite strict, bone dry, with a racy sapid acidity that gives a juicy texture on the finish. The wine has a nice concentration, but because it is bone dry with a ripe acidity, it feels elegant and delicate.

Sunjewel melon, tangerine and almond mix with more subtle second notes of pear, yellow apple and wet stone. The palate is medium weight with medium plus acidity and tastes quite dry! The flavors echo the nose with good density and has a very long mineral finish.

Heady floral aromas of orange blossom, Turkish delight, and lychee dominate the nose. Sweet-tart citrus and white floral notes fill the palate, along with hints of ginger, baked apricot, clove and wild honey. Touches of orange peel can be found on the long, succulent finish. This wine is dry, elegant and a beautiful example at its price point.

Subtle aromas of dried meadow, yellow plum, and nectarine on the nose. The wine features a lovely creamy/waxy texture with balanced acidity, highlighted by ripe apricot and touches of herbs on the palate.

From the producer: 01/2024: Pale yellow colour. Restraint nose, profoundly influenced by the volcanic soil: smoke, flint, earthy, which eventually opens to more fruity aromas after a long aeration. Very complex nose but a strong originality and identity. The palate at first appears to have a medium power but builds up to a long dry aftertaste. As often in the past, the Rangen Riesling always manages to hide its power in his youth. Harmonious structure, vivacious acidity which finishes with strong salty flavours, adding to the length of the wine. This wine appears to be delicately chiselled and full of energy in a solar and warm vintage. To keep!

From the producer:  Pale yellow colour. The nose is still on its reserve but the signature of the limestone marls is very present: citrus fruits, wet stone and opens towards the flower of acacia, even lime blossom over time. Both discreet and at the same time seductive. The energy of the wine felt on the nose is found on the palate. The attack is ample, the wine coats the mouth with harmony and power, opening on a beautiful aromatic complexity of ripe fruit. The typical acidity of this cru is found on the finish, tense and salivating, broad and caressing, under the influence of the clay which brings power and delicacy to the wine. It is a wine that has a very long aging potential!

From the Producer: 01/2024: Bright pale yellow colour. The nose is impressive, precise, showing wet stones aromas typical from granitic soils, still tighter and leaner than the Riesling Roche Granitique (the younger vines) but eventually opens up with aeration and revealing white fruit aromas. The palate has a mineral density, voluptuous with tension. The finish is dry and long, showing a reassuring richness. The absence of stress in the vineyard can be seen in this harmonious wine that will be capable of good ageing.

This is a Sauvignon Blanc, but is moderate in its acidity and rounder in style, so it's perfect for those who prefer a soft, ripe version. There are notes of russet apple and fennel, along with citrus zest, tropical fruit and salinity.

From the Producer: This wine seduces with exotic fruit and floral aromas on the nose which follow through on the palate, with a juicy and mouth-watering finish. Enjoy with a variety of Mediterranean nibbles from Lebanese Mezze to Spanish tapas. Grapes are 100% manually harvested with traditional vinification in stainless steel tanks, fermentation over 10 days.

This beautiful full-bodied white exudes white flowers, honey, apricot, and Meyer lemon aromas. The palate is nicely balanced with fresh acidity and complex flavors of cherry blossom, flint, ripe peach, light oak and vanilla, anise seed and kefir lime. 

Clean with subtle orchard fruit notes, along with citrus and mineral flavors. Asian pear and skin, nectarine and lemon can be found on the palate which is medium weight. This is refreshing and precise, with integrated acidity and a long, mineral finish.

Vibrant and savory. Opens up with lovely aromas of citrus blossom, mint, sage and white stone fruit. Juicy and round with ripe white peach, juicy grapefruit, cider apple and mineral with a bonus saline note on the finish.

This beautiful Otago Pinot Noir is blossoming with aromas of leather, tobacco, some smoke, earth, dried cranberries and prunes, and blackberries. The palate is soft and savory with dried flowers, cola, black tea, medium acidity, and velvety tannins. Silky and complex, fresh and rich, it keeps improving hours after opening!

An aromatic wine with lots of complexity, floral with pressed roses, spiced plum, licorice and blackberry. The palate shows come baking spice notes such as clove, licorice, and black pepper. More toast and macerated red cherries to finish. It is medium plus and drinking well now.  This is a classic, example of Chateauneuf.

From the Producer: Barda is the local term for “eroded steep slope” Often perceived as the “village level” Pinot Noir at Chacra, Barda is sourced from the estate’s “youngest vines” planted in the 1990s. The vines are ungrafted, from an original massale selection on sandy calcareous soils presenting a more high toned aromatic component in the wine. Barda is fermented in equal parts concrete and French oak, 15% of which is new followed by an 11 month elévage. Unfined/unfiltered with minimal sulphur.

Our notes: Aromas are of plum, black cherry, earth and truffle. This is medium weight with black cherry, raspberry and plum fruit that's ripe, not tart. It is fresh with mostly pure fruit and a touch of cooked as well. There are hints of orange, cinnamon and chalk. Tannins are nicely rounded.

Dark chocolate mingle with dark berries and aromas of toasted oak. The tannins are round and soft with the rustic wood quality delivering cigar box and forest floor with black plum, juicy blueberry and chocolate.

Dense garnet in color. Concentrated aromas of black currant, fleshy plum, warm spices, cocoa, and grilled meats. Despite its age, there's still some baby fat here. The wine is spicy, with black raspberry, fruit compote, and savory notes. Medium plus in body and length with integrated tannins.

A fragrant wine with lavender, blackberry, raspberry, warm earth, and touch of wild herbs. The flavors have classic Rhone character-- fleshy and darkly fruited with grippy structured tannins that give a root like quality. There are some mineral notes and black olives with red raspberry and smoke on the long finish.

This co-fermented Chateauneuf is complex and appealing with scents reminiscent of potpourri, spiced plum, cassis and pressed flowers. There is a seduction about the aromas, like fine chocolate and wild animal; think truffle. It offers an opulent palate that is lovely, with blueberry, black currant, cooked plums, spice box, black tea, violets and forest floor. There are also hints of minerality and light toast joining with the ripe fruit. This full-bodied, flavorful red still offers "relief" and a sense of freshness which creates balance in the wine. It is texturally attractive and structurally balanced with medium acidity, well managed tannins and a long finish. 

This is the most elegant Manchuela ever produced. It is perfectly balanced between rustic charm and refined finesse. Notes of wet chalk, floral aromas, herbs, and a smoky, flinty character give it great energy, focus, and precision.

This Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara has a floral nose, with loads of raspberries and a touch of alcohol. The body is medium to medium plus, nicely ripe with a lot of density and depth. Rich with flavors of black cherries, blackberries, and light smoke; finishing with medium acidity and lingering fruit.

Fresh and juicy berry aromas, blackberries and leather on the nose. The medium weight palate follows with blackberries, blackberry seed, leather, earthy medium tannins, and juicy acidity.

"A rich purple in the glass. The complex nose features nuanced aromas ranging from blackberry to blueberry and currant with hints of cedar and spice. In the mouth, it’s juicy with a grippy texture and delicate, concentrated but relaxed tannins before the lengthy finish. It seems that the healthy biodynamic vineyard was able to withstand the warmth of 2020. An extremely well-made wine that handled the conditions with aplomb."

An enticing barbera with black currants, earthy Indian spices, charred oak and cumin. The palate has fleshy black fruit and earthy umami notes supported by juicy acidity, smooth tannins and medium body.

Ripe aromas of black cherry, plum, and cooked strawberry compote lead to smoked tomatoes and a concentrated volcanic/ashy minerality. The ripe fruits are balanced by minerality on the palate, along with moderate acidity and fine tannins with a round mouthfeel.

Approachable but thorough tannins support ripe cherry and raspberry notes. The acidity is fresh and balanced by earthier floral, cocoa and smoke flavors.

The wine has a deep red color and offers aromas of dark berries, blackcurrant, and a hint of spice. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with a velvety texture and smooth tannins. The flavors are similar to the aroma, with dark fruit notes, a hint of black pepper, and a touch of minerality.

This wine demonstrates some interesting secondary character with touches of black plum, but mostly, forest floor, savory morel mushrooms, black olives, worn leather and smoke.

Medium plus in body with noticeably dry tannins and savory Mediterranean richness. Floral tones recall more northerly wines. It’s chewy, vigorous, and refreshing, with notes of black olive, wild herbs, and brambly fruit, supported by earthier forest floor, baking spice and mineral notes.

Lifted an elegant on the palate, this prosecco offers soft peach, lemon/lime and honeysuckles notes. Medium-weight and refreshing with lingering minerality.

An aromatic skin-contact wine (orange) with lifted aromas of Valencia oranges, dried nectarines, apricots, and almond paste. The palate is quite juicy with cantaloupe, fresh citrus, charred orange, orange blossom and pleasant bitter flavors. The body is rich with a broad mouthfeel.
