From the get-go, you can tell this wine is full bodied. Aromas are of vanilla, brioche, apple and apricot. The palate is broad and all-encompassing, offering richness and satiety. The 2023 Gewurztraminer is from the Sunrise Hill Vineyard, located in Interlaken on western Cayuga Lake, is one of our longstanding grower partnerships which sits on Lima silt loam soils, a soil series unique in our cellar. The Lima series are moderately drained soils nearly level to moderately steep soils formed in glacial till that incorporates limestone and calcareous shale.

An aromatic and tasty wine that offers white tea, peach, and clementine with clean, focused mineral notes. The palate is very fresh with yellow apple, peach juice and starfruit flavors supported by salty minerality. The salinity keeps this medium bodied white fresh while slight bitter notes of almond round out this complex wine.

Orchard fruit and blossoms, minerals, stone and a touch of butter come through on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied or slightly more with vibrant peach, pear and citrus fruit, savory herbs and minerality shaped by pleasant acidity and just-ripe roundness. This is a blend of indigenous Bical and Arinto grapes aged mostly in stainless steel and 10% neutral French oak.

Aromas of lemon zest, apple, pineapple, and hint of marshmallow. The palate is very clean and balanced with some oak, nice minerality, wood spice, and some baked apple and pineapple. This chardonnay strikes a nice balance between fruit forward and mellow minerality.

This orange wine immediately greets the nose with a ton of complexity and goes through many changes in its time being open. Honeyed floral and sherry-adjacent aromas waft out of the glass, as well as oregano, garrigue, roasted orange peel, clove, and other gently oxidative notes. The palate continues with hazelnut, sesame, honey, a singed walnut bitterness, vanilla, and a beautiful, soft and sesame-oil texture. As the wine opens up, more fruit and classic orange wine flavors begin to emerge - citrus peel, bright citrus juice, and tannins - while the oxidative flavors take the back seat.

Clean with subtle orchard fruit notes, along with citrus and mineral flavors. Asian pear and skin, nectarine and lemon can be found on the palate which is medium weight. This is refreshing and precise, with integrated acidity and a long, mineral finish.

This unoaked Chardonnay is fresh and easy to drink with aromas of wet stone, lemon, apple, and sweet tart. The palate is clean with minerality, granny smith apple, fennel, grapefruit, and a long finish.

Aromas of apricot and marzipan are joined by a kiss of floral character on the nose. The palate is nicely concentrated with stone fruits, especially pear, and touches of dried herbs. It’s medium-bodied with a pleasant creaminess, soft finish and lingering salinity.

Lovely floral aromas, mineral, and touches of applewood emerge on the nose of this richer-style Gruner. It’s lightly spritzy on the palate and the jasmine stands out, supported by ripe apricot and tree fruit.

Aromas of apple, sage and jasmine follow through onto the palate along with hints of Asian pear, fennel and wild herbs. This is slightly more than medium weight with moderate acidity and a unique and appealing flavor ending with a touch of beeswax and baked apple. Enticing floral and lychee notes lend way to a fuller-bodied, fruit-forward style of Riesling. This is round with good density, well-integrated acidity, and bright, juicy, fruit flavors of peach and pineapple and complementary mineral notes; a great value!

Ripe grapefruit aromas with a touch of kiwi and starfruit introduce this wine. The palate delivers key lime and ripe peach with flinty minerality. This classic German Riesling is very clean, well made, and offers a deftly-balanced hint of sweetness between its fruit, acidity and slate backbone.

This approachable California Pinot Noir has a soft nose of dark cherry and raspberry, the palate follows with sweet ripe red berries, vanilla, and supple easygoing tannins to finish.

This complex Spanish rose gives you flavors of strawberry, tangerine and yellow grapefruit. It is medium weight with notes of white tea, sake, and a finish of sweet citrus. You'll find it clean, pure and captivating--if you want something delicious and different, give it a try!

White peach and raspberry aromas lead to similar flavors on the palate.  A light floral note of violets adds character to this clean, refreshing, fruit-forward, no-brainer!

Elegant and attractive aromas of pink raspberry, lemon, herbs and salty sea air emerge from the glass. This is midweight, ultra fresh and clean with strawberry, citrus and saline notes. Crisp acidity keeps it lifted and succulent. You'll be coming back for more on a warm day.

The scents coming from the glass are rich with raspberry, wild strawberry, pretty with talc mineral notes and goji berries. Flavors include wild strawberry, underripe watermelon, with a touch of raspberry on the finish. It has a delicate texture, with silky acidity, pronounced clean minerality, and a sense of tannin. We appreciate the complexity this rose has for a value wine. 

Classic aromas of pear, apple and melon mingle with soft florals on the nose, matching the ripeness of golden apple, bosc pear, and apricot on the palate. The texture has a nice prickle with a creamy mouse finish.

Entelecheia means the fulfillment of your calling and this sparkling offers unique flavors. The aromas range from orange, peach with delicate mock orange blossom that is not overbearing but approachable. The texture begins silken and round with moderate acidity and light touches of vanilla. 

Made in the traditional method using indigenous Spanish grapes, the aromas burst with rich pear, green apple, and hints of cream. On the palate the wine shows great finesse and balance with notes of papaya and pear rounded out with hints of hazelnuts, and finishing with crisp acidity and freshness.

Elegant aromas of hawthorn, wildflower, white peach and sliced pear. The vibrantly balanced palate follows flavors of citrus, crisp apple accented by a hint of ginger and set against firm acidity and a soft, foaming mousse. It has nice texture, integrated flavors and clear focused acid with a clean dry finish.

Crunchy green aromas of parsley, lime juice, tart crunchy apple, green peppercorn and a little floral. The palate has nice mousse with tight bubbles and good texture. Flavors are a little savory with roasted barley, shortbread and clean wet stone minerality. As it opened, it revealed more fruit with ripe apricot and bosc pear; nicely complex for the money!

Fresh and aromatic with Asian pear, lemon blossom, and lychee supported by clean mineral and floral notes. The palate offers lively bigger carbonation with peach and floral notes.

A very cider like nose with apple skin, strawberry, and Meyer lemon, fruity with a touch of earthy funk. The palate has a silky texture and is a touch off-dry at first with ripe pear, candied orange, clementine, and grassy hay like notes.

Made by an all-women team, this deliciously fizzy wine is marked by flavors of pear skin, melon, and citrus rind. The fresh fruit flavors persist on the long finish, providing a clean, and delicious choice for the evening.

100% Riesling from a blend of 2022 and 2023 vintages. Beautifully balanced and very tasty with just a touch of sweetness. Floral aromas, ripe apple, and pear combine in this clean sparkler which showcases a texture of fine mousse.

Namazake (**unpasteurized sake) is best drunk as fresh as possible, ideally in spring, immediately after its winter release. The rice is grown in the limestone rich soils in Yamaguchi, made with water that flows over the limestone creating a complex and rich sake with higher than usual acidity, fresh fruitiness, a creamy body and crisp dry finish. Notes of juicy watermelon, kaffir lime, pear and cucumber. Great food sake! **This sake is kept in our fridge on the bottom right hand shelf.

This light cider highlights the red fleshed color of Redfield apples with its pinkish color, and the acidity of Wickson crab apples. Fruity tasting notes of cranberry, fresh apple and mulberries. On the palate juicy with mouth watering acidity, a bit off-dry and refreshing. Perfect picnic cider!

A refreshing new cider bursting with starfruit, pear, green olive brine, lightly funky reminiscent of Basque Sidra. A great food cider. 

Honeyed and floral aromas bloom from this dry crisp mead. Lightly weighted but with good density holding it up, this mead has a very long finish, leaving chamomile, spring flowers, citrus fruit, and a piquant honey taste on the palate.

Distilled in Kagoshima, Japan by Hamada Shuzo from 84% imo (sweet potato) and 16% kome koji (rice koji). Daiyame is made from sweet potatoes that have been aged using a unique aging method to fully extract their aroma. It has a sweet aroma reminiscent of fresh lychee and rosewater. Enjoy Daiyame 25 neat, with seltzer on the rocks, or with hot water as an oyuwari.

This is a complex and delightfully clean orange wine. The nose is rich with candied orange, baking spice, orange oil, amaro spices, and flowers. The medium plus body follows with brown spices, lightly oxidized apple, peach tea, amaro notes, and fennel. Intriguing and approachable yet packed with orange wine charm!
