We are impressed with box chardonnay because it is crisp, clean and has a lot of fresh flavors like lemon zest, yellow apple and honeydew melon. It is is medium acidity and medium bodied with a finish of pear and minerality.

The aromas begin soft and subtle, but then opens up with pure white flowers and citrus fruits, especially pink grapefruit. The palate is concentrated with citrus, poached pear and gooseberry and has profound notes of minerality and brisk acidity with touches of salt. This unoaked Chardonnay is medium weight and gives lovely orchard fruit aromas and flavors from a warm vintage. It has golden apple and bosc pear notes with a hint of citrus and pineapple. The texture has just the right amount of creaminess and concentration, giving a soft, silky mouthfeel. It deftly balances concentration with fresh acidity, making it perfect for drinking on its own or versatile with food.

This Loire white features green tropical fruit such as kiwi, starfruit and gooseberry, with a savory aspect similar to tomato leaf. There is the classic white grapefruit and gooseberry, along with ripe yellow fruits like donut peaches and pineapple. This is medium bodied with a soft texture; though lifted, it remains roundish with good concentration. From the producer: Remarkably aromatic with pleasant flower and fruit fragrances recalling the flower of the vine and the fruit of the Sauvignon. On the palate it reveals a freshness and vivacity characteristic of grapes harvested at good maturity. Citrus, apple and gooseberry aromas with hints of passion fruit are often found in this lively and bright wine.

A rich and lovely nose brimming with honeysuckle, white tea, peaches, and apricots. The palate is dry, yet generous, with apricots, peach skin, and a touch of refreshing white tea bitterness. This wine is bright and vibrant, with sleek acidity and good density. A delicious value!

Lovely floral aromas, mineral, and touches of applewood emerge on the nose of this richer-style Gruner. It’s lightly spritzy on the palate and the jasmine stands out, supported by ripe apricot and tree fruit.

This appassimento wine uses dried grapes to concentrate the flavors. It is soft and supple in texture with velvety tannins on a medium frame. Stewed black and red fruits are accompanied by light tobacco and spice and a touch of smoke. Notes of blackberry, black cherries, and dates follow through to spices and dried herbs on the finish.

This 100% Syrah shows classic elements of black cherry, red plum, and garrigue on the nose. It is terroir-driven with sandalwood, licorice, light smoke, garrigue and amaro-esque medicinal herbs. The palate is medium weight with just-right acidity, rendering it a pleasant and easy drinking wine with nice complexity. Try with braises of root vegetables or with beans or lentils, chicken, lamb and beef dishes, or sautéed mushrooms. Add rosemary and thyme to pick up the wine’s herbal profile.

Black and red cherry fruit on the nose with additional notes of Italian spices and dark florals. The palate is medium- bodied with fine attractive tannins and flavors of cherry, tree bark and savory herbs.

Complex, savory aromas of red and black berry, cocoa, cola spices, smoke and iron-like minerals entice on the nose. Flavors on the palate are well-integrated and echo the aromas ending with a long, spicy-vanilla finish.

Classic aromas of fresh strawberry and white cherry with red apple and clean linen. Flavors include lemon zest and a touch of floral character; light red fruit and a very clean, mineral-driven body with lifted acidity.

This cava is pretty, delicate and very pear forward. The palate is clean and refreshing with light florality, stone fruits, lime zest and citrus pith with some nectarine and herbal notes.

The fruit is ripe and red fruited--raspberry, cherry, pomegranate, strawberry, cranberry--all the reds!  It is dry and minerally, yet generous with its fruit. Such balance means that your bottle will quickly disappear!

Fresh ripe dark fruit such as black cherry, blackcap, and black currants with subtle violets and black peppercorns. It is not complex but is worthy of drinking all day because of fun this is. The flavors are similar to the nose with extra dried herbs, juicy raspberry and red pepper.

Crisp, soft, off dry, and rich, this cider is cofermented with Riesling skins. This blend is has the lovely perfume of peach, honeycomb, and loads of sweet basil. The palate follows with ginger, apricot, sweet basil, and stone fruit. This is a great intro wine for people aren't (yet) fans of cider, it's fruity and complex, wonderfully complemented by the Riesling skins.
