Maz Caz Blanc 2021

Red

This wine gives mostly red fruits on the nose -- pomegranate, strawberry and raspberry, along with vanilla. It is medium plus in weight and quite rich with ultra-soft tannins that show it is in its prime drinking stage now. There are flavors of red cherry, raspberry, plum, strawberry coulis, licorice, vanilla and a touch of sassafras. You'll be talking about its texture though -- the integrated acidity and seamless tannins are a joy. What a value!

More toast and macerated red cherries to finish. It is medium plus and drinking well now.  This is a classic, example of Chateauneuf.
