Citrus, notably tangerine and lemon, dominate the aromas. There’s a touch of mint as well as white pepper and nutmeg for spice. The palate is quite elegant and round, with fruit and spice balancing each other. Intense and persistent.

This wine makes you want to smell it forever with beautiful notes of jasmine, honeysuckle, citrus, lychee and peach. On the palate this almost sweet entry is supple and refreshing: honeysuckle, lime, peach and a bit of ginger spice. It is medium in body with medium-plus acidity and medium finish.

from the Producer: Soalheiro Alvarinho has a bright, lemon-yellow colour. This wine is distinguished by its fresh and elegant fragrance, revealing the aromatic complexity of Alvarinho variety. The flavour has intense tropical and mineral notes that balance perfectly with the acidity and moderate alcohol content.

Vibrant aromas of peach blossoms, nectarines and lychee begin this delicious, approachable white. The palate is a bit more restrained with apple, Asian pear, pineapple and touches of minerality. The finish is dry with a pleasant, lingering roundness to balance the fresh acidity.

The nose offers lime--both zest and juice-- as well as starfruit and a touch of slate. This wine has just the right amount of effervescence to support the green pear, green apple, and citrus on the palate Very crisp and refreshing.

Clean aromas of wet stone and lemon pith that indicate a higher acid white wine. The flavors are pear, apple, lemon curd, nectarine, fresh herbs and a touch of florals. The prickle is pleasant with medium texture and medium plus acidity.

Crowd pleasing aromas include nectarine, pear, and lemon juice highlighted with orchard blossom and preserved lemon. The palate is flavorful with green tea, sour apple, and fresh warm peaches. It is medium-bodied and finishes with refreshing bitterness.

This attractively packaged wine offers aromas of coffee, plums, and red cherries. The wine is well-balanced in the mouth, with red plum and cherry, fresh black currant and jam, and hints of black pepper and herbs. Medium in body and acidity, with fine tannins and a longer finish.

Blackberry, black plum, cassis, grapes, black pepper, fig and dark earth with mocha are aromatic on the nose. This dry, fuller-bodied wine has notes of black currants, dried fruit spicy white pepper, cocoa, cola spiciness and a touch of smoke on the palate with a long finish that ends in chocolate.

Aromas are big, smoky, and spicy with blackberry, dark chocolate, and a hint of licorice. The palate has a nice lift and acidity, with flavors that match the aromas, including the pepper and blackberry. Medium plus in body with a persistent finish. The wine spends a year in American and French oak, with a further four months in bottle.

This richer red offers blackberry, cocoa and subtle spice aromas.  The palate continues with ripe black fruits, sandalwood, coffee, clove, cocoa and a kiss of smoke. The fruit in this medium-plus bodied wine is concentrated, yet the tannins are supple.

Aromas of dark and red cherry with a touch of smoke, additional charming aromas of macerated black and red currants. The flavors echo the aromas with more chocolate and a touch of bark. The palate has nice round texture with soft but working tannins. The acidity is integrated with a velvety and polished finish.

Aromas of stewed berries and touches of smoke and mineral lead to more ripe berries on the palate including plums, cherries and dried strawberries. This is medium-plus in body with ripe/integrated tannins and a lingering minerality on the finish.

Savory aromas of olive, earth and licorice join with dark plum and blackberry fruit on the nose of this Old World red. The wine is medium weight with an equal amount of black fruits and savory flavors of tapenade, dried herbs and earth balancing one another. There are some dried fruit and raisin notes as well. The 5+ years of age have softened the tannins, creating an easy-going texture. This doesn't show woody notes, the wine's complexity comes from fruit and terroir, rather than oak. Lovers of Bordeaux or Rioja will especially enjoy.

Aromas of smoke, coffee, and black fruits lead to concentrated flavors of mocha, baking spice, black currants, and smoke. There’s a touch of dried herbal savoriness, along with fine tannins and juicy acidity.

Both aromas and flavors are smokey. The nose offers stewed red fruit (raspberry), black fruit Black raspberry and cherry), and cured meat. The attack is juicy, with black fruits, meaty spices, black pepper and a slightly rustic note. Tannins are fairly fine, the body is medium to plus, and the finish long. This is a good grilling wine.

You'll find flavors of pink grapefruit, nectarine, strawberry candy, red pear and rose in this Vinho Verde rosé. It has a refreshing prickle with a whiff of powdered sugar/talc running through it (but don't worry, it's totally dry!)
