The nose gives aromas of red and black cherry, baked raspberry pie, cranberry, meat, garrigue and smoke. It smells Italian! The palate is medium weight with strawberries, berry seeds, violets, mineral and camp fire. It has a softer structure than you might expect from Nebbiolo, with integrated acidity and tannins. A long, balsamic finish completes the package.

This Barbaresco is soft and enjoyable on the palate with clean aromas of bright red fruit, freshly picked rose petals and hints of savory spice. The wine’s soft tannins and well-integrated acidity make it incredibly enjoyable when served by-the-glass or with a myriad of rich and/or spicy foods.

Aromas of cured meat, tar, and smoky dark fruit lead to flavors of charred, tar, ash, and darker fruits like black cherries and black currants. This wine has a lovely texture for Nebbiolo, with soft tannins and medium acidity providing structure.

Wild aromatics of wild berries and crushed cherries with forest floor with some baking spice and potpourri. The color is darker than a traditional Nebbiolo yet the tannins are soft and integrated. This is not effusive. It is medium bodied with medium plus acidity and ends with rose water, black tea and some smoke. This is approachable now!

On the nose aromas include rose petals, vanilla, old-world wood and tomato leaf with dark, ripe berries and black cherry. The palate is nicely integrated with supple tannin structure, delightful medium-plus acidity and lingering elements of dried black cherry, smoke and earth. The finish is long and reminiscent of mixed berry pie.
