A beautifully mineral-driven Sauvignon Blanc with notes of pear, crisp apple and grapefruit. This is a nice alternative to Sancerre, with high acidity, concentrated citrus and classic Loire Valley stoney minerality.

Medium aromatics include chamomile and lanolin.  The palate is medium weight with light floral notes such as honeysuckle. Fresh, clean and minerally with white peach and melon flavors. This is precise and focused; it's a wonderful aperitif or food wine.

The aromas begin soft and subtle, but then opens up with pure white flowers and citrus fruits, especially pink grapefruit. The palate is concentrated with citrus, poached pear and gooseberry and has profound notes of minerality and brisk acidity with touches of salt. This wine is sharp, precise and racy--a great alternative to Chablis.

Wet stone and citrus join ripe grapefruit, lime pith and starfruit aromas. These continue on the palate along with gooseberry, melon and lemon notes. The wine is nicely balanced with gentle acidity and a round, leesy creaminess. 

 The Champalous are masters of Loire Chenin Blanc, producing Vouvray in all styles; this still, dry rendition, aged in stainless steel, represents their flagship cuvée. Gentle and refreshing on the palate, it boasts a delightful balance of stony minerality with luscious, almost honeyed fruit and flowery notes, making for a great apéritif or easy pairing with all sorts of dishes. 

Clean on the nose with appealing white fruits, and hints of tropical fruit. You’ll find green apple, honeydew melon and almond cream. The palate has a wonderful ripeness and good density for Muscadet. It is medium bodied with flavors of lime zest, apple blossom, salinity and minerality. This is fresh, pure and at the same time, characterful and generous.

This Loire white features green tropical fruit such as kiwi, starfruit and gooseberry, with a savory aspect similar to tomato leaf. There is the classic white grapefruit and gooseberry, along with ripe yellow fruits like donut peaches and pineapple. This is medium bodied with a soft texture; though lifted, it remains roundish with good concentration. From the producer: Remarkably aromatic with pleasant flower and fruit fragrances recalling the flower of the vine and the fruit of the Sauvignon. On the palate it reveals a freshness and vivacity characteristic of grapes harvested at good maturity. Citrus, apple and gooseberry aromas with hints of passion fruit are often found in this lively and bright wine.

Classic Sancerre-like aromas and flavors of talc, chalk, starfruit, gooseberry and grapefruit citrus. The palate delivers ripeness with notes that touch on tropical citrus peel, white grapefruit and bosc pear with a whisper of guava and kiwi. The finish has verve with flinty minerality.

This wine begins with light earth and raspberry-cherry notes mixing with garrigue. On the palate, it is midweight with fine tannins and chalky acidity. The fruit is reddish--dried strawberry, pomegranate, red raspberry and red cherry, joining with lightly savory forest notes. This is a good options for lovers of Pinot Noir, even though the grapes are different. There's a fineness and delicacy to it.

Our notes: Aromas are of plum, black cherry, earth and truffle. This is medium weight with black cherry, raspberry and plum fruit that's ripe, not tart. It is fresh with mostly pure fruit and a touch of cooked as well. There are hints of orange, cinnamon and chalk. Tannins are nicely rounded.

The nose gives strawberry, cranberry and red cherry cordial with some earthy soil component. The flavor is of summer strawberries, fresh bright raspberries with balanced acidity and body.

Deep, rich color and a classic Cabernet Franc nose of cherry, spice, earth, and black pepper. Fresh black berry, blueberry, black cherry fruits with black pepper, potting soil, and light smoke are the dominant flavors. Medium to medium plus in body, tannin, and acidity.

This wine demonstrates some interesting secondary character with touches of black plum, but mostly, forest floor, savory morel mushrooms, black olives, worn leather and smoke.
