This wine begins with dark, steeped berries encircling fireplace and pine forest aromas. in the mouth, it is creamy and full-flavored, exhibiting wild black currant and dark chocolate flavors mixed with sweet tobacco and black cherry candy. The wine envelops your whole mouth and glides down the throat, leaving a hint of smoke and mocha. First rate and drinking beautifully now, but will age through 2028.

Aromas of blackberry jam, black currant skin, bramble and scorched earth cue up this wine. The palate offers juicy black fruit, integrated smokiness, dark chocolate and savory and spicy notes of forest floor and tree bark. It is medium plus in body with a few years’ age evident in its silky and plush tannins.

One of the leading domaines in Bandol, Domaine Tempier is, without a doubt, the most visible producer from the appellation in the U.S. marketplace today. I think this is well-deserved (and a good thing for Bandol), as the wines are at the top of the hierarchy in terms of quality. The estate has been in the Peyraud family for generations and has a long, storied history that’s beautifully documented in Kermit Lynch’s newsletters and book, Adventures on the Wine Route (an absolute must read for any wine lover). From the Producer This year’s rendition is 76% Zinfandel, 11% Carignan, 5% Petite Sirah, 4% Grenache and 3% Cinsault, with the remainder being assorted mixed varieties such as Mourvèdre, Negrette and more. Though a blend of over a dozen ranches, the majority comes from Teldeschi, Evanghelho, Katushas, Nervo, Sodini, Beeson, Bedrock, Old Hill, and Papera. We are extremely pleased with the resulting wine—one that shows off freshness, wonderful fruit tones, spice, and pepper laden perfume built around a core of flat-out delicious fruit character. This one should be a great crowd-pleaser.

Tobacco, anise, earth and garrigue all come through in this wine. Over indulge with the aromas of red currants, smoke, baking spice, raspberry and violets. This is medium plus in body with a full and long finish with some warming qualities and medium plus tannins. This wine is still young but clearly exhibits some age worthy qualities.

This wine begins with light earth and raspberry-cherry notes mixing with garrigue. On the palate, it is midweight with fine tannins and chalky acidity. The fruit is reddish--dried strawberry, pomegranate, red raspberry and red cherry, joining with lightly savory forest notes. This is a good options for lovers of Pinot Noir, even though the grapes are different. There's a fineness and delicacy to it.

A fragrant wine with lavender, blackberry, raspberry, warm earth, and touch of wild herbs. The flavors have classic Rhone character-- fleshy and darkly fruited with grippy structured tannins that give a root like quality. There are some mineral notes and black olives with red raspberry and smoke on the long finish.

This dry rosé is perfectly balanced, soft, and thirst quenching. Fresh red berries, especially strawberry, a touch of floral character and peach are well-balanced by fresh acid and minerality on the palate. The wine is dry with strawberries lingering on the finish.

Powerful peach, white raspberry and wild strawberry aromas that are clean with talc and earthy elements. The texture is slightly creamy, with softer acid and supported by salty minerality, bright flavors driven with a long finish.

Strawberry, cherry, and watermelon with a touch of tangerine greet you on the nose. The palate is dense and rounded with raspberry, strawberry, and a hint pleasing bitterness. This is a dry, fresh and mouth-filling wine and comes in a liter bottle -- what more could you want for summer?

Soft and delicate aromas of earth and clay mixed with cherry, raspberry and dried herbs. On the palate the wine is dry and a touch savory with citrus, raspberry, and mineral notes. Concentrated with balancing acidity and a persistent finish.

Aromas are soft and subtle with touches of nectarine, strawberry and wet stones. The palate has more powerful ripe strawberry, raspberry, and peach flavors. It's fuller bodied with a rounded mouthfeel and juicy acidity to balance the ripeness, leading to a long, succulent lemon finish.

Clean, invigorating notes of silex on the nose showcase the limestone soils of the Rouanne vineyard. The aromas and flavors develop as the wines opens to reveal wild strawberry and fresh thyme – a complex and flavorful sparkling rosé.
