This is such an appealing wine with aromas darker fruit than the last vintage with black fruits (currants, boysenberry, and blueberry) with a touch of florality spring from the nose of unique Mediterranean grape. The wine is medium weight with red and purple fruits, plums, blueberries and rose petals. It is fresh, unique, appealing, fragrant, food-friendly, soft and accessible. The tannins are light to medium weight with crisp acidity.

This wine has medium aromatics of cola spice and black cherry. The palate shows great complexity with black licorice, clove, pepper and smoke, sassafras layering with black cherry, chocolate and caramel. The tannins are soft and well integrated with medium plus body and medium acidity. Nicely wrapped flavors weave with the texture for a very well made wine. The final notes leave you with raisin, cassis, black currants and feels opulent. From the Producer:  Ripe black fruit and dark chocolate underpin primary notes of graphite, pencil shavings, green pepper, vineyard dust, and anise. Nose is rounded out by hints of sassafras, heavy cream, lavender, violet, and Italian leather. Dense and plush mouthfeel with delightful acidity, gentle tannins, and lingering finish.

Dark fruit but still fresh and juicy this assumed malbec dominated wine is balanced and smooth. In Sheep's Clothing delivers a ripeness of fruit flavors while preserving the acidity that gives the medium to full-bodied wine a sense of freshness. With layers of cassis, blueberries, and black cherries, this wine lends to a New World style of fruit with more of an Old World structure with a hint of wood smoke. This wine fully embraces an integral part of classic Cabernet Sauvignon by highlighting a complex blend of dried herbs: anise, thyme and bay leaf.

Surprisingly subtle aromas of blueberry for a blueberry wine, it smells pretty with cassis, wild blackcaps, and floral notes. The texture is medium across the palate but is serious with dark earth, black olives, minerality and forest floor. It is very structured and interesting as a beverage.

Baked apple, ripe pear, aromatic and autumnal feeling with golden apple and quince. The palate is medium dry with apple, yellow plum, cinnamon and nutmeg with good tart acidity. This is clean, not heavy but richly flavored and lightly effervescent. A portion of this cider has crab apples in it, so the little sweetness is nicely balanced.
