The aromas are classically green, with bright gooseberry, star fruit, melon and kiwi. The palate is quite expressive; its soft attack makes way for tropical guava, gooseberry, and round ripeness matched by a slightly elevated acidity and notes of lime. Flavors of dried herbs on the long finish.
The grapes were machine harvested on a cool Marlborough morning and were immediately transferred to the winery where they were destemmed and crushed before being transferred to the tank press. After four hours settling, the juice was inoculated with organic yeast.
