The nose offers slightly smoky black fruits, including blackberries with seeds and cherries, as well as forest and spice notes. In the mouth, there's a lovely balance of acid and fruit that will only integrate further with bottle age. Flavors are largely black-fruited with savory notes. Both the nose and palate are very smooth, ripe but not overly so. Good value, classy package, great flavors--just what it should be.
