The Blanc Pescador is a wine inspired by the sea. Born in 1967 on the shores of the Mediterranean, the wine is a collaboration between the producer and the Spanish CRAM Foundation (the Foundation for the Rehabilitation and Conservation of Marine Animals). The nose is lightly floral with citrus and tropical accents. On the palate, the wine is pleasantly effervescent. Grapefruit, passion fruit and stone fruit flavors complement floral notes and an essence of crushed rock/minerality.

This wine shines consistently year after year. You'll find the aromatics of both grapes in this wine--melon and citrus from the Sauvignon Blanc, apricot and flowers from the Viognier. The palate is medium weight to more, with notes of orange, peach, apricot, jasmine and lemon, all integrated into a juicy, fleshy, rounded mouthfeel. It stays crisp and energetic, driving you back for more.

Red strawberries and ripe fruits are attractive on the nose. On the palate, this wine is medium weight with classic cherry fruitiness, vanilla, and light spices on a smooth and elegant frame

Aromas are dark and muscular, with notes of fresh fig and black cherry. The palate is fruitier, adding red berries and a touch of mocha. This is a wine with personality, spot-on tannins, and an acidity that keeps the fruit in check. Medium plus in body and length.

Spicy aromas of cinnamon and clover lead to notes of dusty cocoa, mulberries, and mocha. Nicely integrated with a silky texture and soft tannins on a medium weight frame. An array of black fruits mix with cocoa, espresso, and a hint of licorice on the palate.
