The wine has a nice concentration, but because it is bone dry with a ripe acidity, it feels elegant and delicate.

From the producer: Lynch-Bages 2015 has a brilliant, deep colour with purple hues. Its nose clearly expresses aromas of cassis and dark fruit, mixed with the empyreumatic notes that come with ageing. It has a straightforward attack and a voluminous yet supple mid-palate. The wine has a marked but silky tannic structure, and a persistent finish illustrative of a particularly ripe vintage.

This is fruit forward and has broad appeal with ripe black berry, blackcap and dark plums with dark coffee and dark chocolate. This wine has moderate and approachable tannins structure and spends one year in oak barrels.

This has very dark fruit with vanilla and wood spice aromas. The palate is integrated and velvety with baking spice, toast, smoky red cherry and other dark fruits. This is very appealing and has brightness with depth and elegance. This vegan wine would make an excellent gift.

This wine smells of stewed black cherries, plums and elderberry with cocoa and tomato leaf with smoke and earth on the nose. On the palate, it combines savory flavors, pepper with tobacco and campfire and black fruits. It is quite supple with lightly dusty tannins, medium acidity, good depth and not-over-the-top Camenere flavors.

This wine is fragrant as soon as the cork leaves the bottle! The aromas are beautifully integrated, with plum, bramble, small dark fruits, and dried herbs including oregano and sage. Tannins have softened with some age and are doing just what they should be, allowing the flavor elements to show off. Dark berries, plums, and herbal elements dance. Medium bodied with a longer finish.

This is quite aromatic, offering sweet wood, dark fruit--blackberry, blueberry, spiced cherry, plum--and cedar, all nicely integrated, with each sniff providing something more and different. The palate is equally integrated and complex. The fine tannins and moderate acidity are lovely, supporting and melding with the fruit. The fruit itself is dark berries, patient and thorough, subtle and a real presence. This is a wine one wants always on the wine rack to be enjoyed again and again. This medium to lighted bodied red offers red cherry and strawberry fruit along with notes of mineral, stone and light spice. The fruit is fresh and you'll find fine to medium tannins that provide structure.
