Aromas of butter, vanilla, baked apples and spice indicate that this has gone through malolactic fermentation. It is medium plus in body, generous and likeable. Think apples dotted with butter, vanilla bean, baking spice and pear butter.  The richness is enjoyable and not at all heavy.
